And I was absolutely right. We ordered a white pizza, and it was delicious--definitely that old-school flavor I was hoping for. My spouse tried a sandwich and said it was just okay, but the white pizza was the real standout. The service was okay. It was near closing time, and the two employees weren't overly friendly, but they weren't rude either. They did accommodate all of our requests, which I appreciated. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the pizza alone.

Now, I haven't been there in quite some time because I knew the owners had switched over a few years ago; however, the Italian sub I had still possessed its original taste. There's something about a sub roll when it meets the meat, cheese, and spices with herbs, along with the oil and vinegar on an Italian sub. There's nothing better than when it hits all at once. Personally, there are two things that make a great sub: the roll and, of course, the meat. I walked in roughly around 12 noon, and I was surprised to see so many people inside waiting to get their food. That was a good thing, only because I know people are now back to working on their lunch breaks; not only that, if it's packed at the lunch hour, it means the food and the pizza are definitely good. I made my order ahead of time, picked up my sub, and was in and out. Of course, I finished it with a delightful Coca-Cola. Nothing is better than a good old Coca-Cola. I was intrigued by the multiple pizzas already ready inside the window with delightful choices such as Buffalo Chicken, Grandma, Vegetable, and also Meat Lovers, which all looked delicious. The staff are very nice, and the lovely lady with the beautiful blue eyes at the register made me want to purchase more food. But at that time, I wasn't shot by Cupid. I must say, I will give the sub a hard 4.8 out of 5 and the experience inside the restaurant definitely a 4 out of 5. There was a TV sitting in the corner, which was amazing, and plenty of parking to get in and out, plus plenty of seating.

But my Ninja Turtle senses started kicking in, and I had to dash out of the restaurant with my large pie in hand to eat it on the way back home, where I could enjoy it right beneath the city of Harrisburg. Also, regarding the Italian sub: I normally don't eat meat, but here in Central PA, having an Italian sub alongside plain Middleswarth chips usually does something special for me. Well, this time it wasn't really worth it. The sub just sat heavy on my stomach and didn't give me the energy I need to fight crime through the night. However, the bread was really good! So if you ask me whether I'd try the Italian sub again, probably not--I'll just stick to the pie. There is plenty of parking for this establishment, the bathrooms are clean, and there's plenty of seating just in case you want to bring a party of five or more!
