Who doesn't love a $3 beer with lunch? As for the food, I was thoroughly impressed! Pastrami melt was amazing! Full of delicious pastrami, melted cheese, and pickles. So delicious! Fries looked like they were actual fresh made fries, not frozen, which was a nice surprise. I could also tell that they make their ranch from scratch. The bbq chicken sandwich was also delicious. Side salad was super fresh. Everything was so delicious! Portions nice; prices fair. I am impressed with Wild Carvery because I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and the quality is high. I also suspect that they make their own pickles? But I'm not sure. If quality and freshness are important to you, I highly recommend checking out Wild Carvery. I can't wait to come back and try their burgers.

I think I ended up paying about 65 dollars for food that would easily feed me for a good 3 or 4 days. When I arrived to pick up my order at my pick up time, I had noticed my order was being packed. I asked the employees if I can leave my order with them for a bit so that I can pick up some meat inside the market. They obliged, and I went to the meat counter to order my beef back ribs to cook for tomorrow. For 5 pounds, I ended up paying about $34, which was definitely a bargain. They were also selling breakfast burritos and sandwiches in the store, which I found to be awesome. I took everything home and opened my bag of spoils. After I took everything out, I statted thinking of what I wanted to eat first and what I wanted to save for later. It was so much food that I thought I could feed an entire army. Definitely will be back for the breakfast burritos and sandwiches, and for the meats again, for sure!

Despite my frequent visits, the overall customer service in the deli and meats department has declined. The season butchers have been replaced with individuals lacking the necessary experience and customer courtesy that were previously present. Over the past three months, I have encountered the same issues with this particular employee. It is important to note that the fee charged for slicing a Tri Tip into a carton container is not the primary concern. The issue lies in the employee's behavior and attitude, specifically their unwillingness to properly wrap the sliced meat. This has occurred on multiple occasions, most recently at the checkout counter when the cashier pull the foil-wrapped package from the plastic bag causing the juices of the meat to spill all over the counter. This has happened to me every time this employee has served me. The Tri Tip sliced meat is dry and devoid of juices due to this careless employee's failure to wrap the meat carefully. It is imperative that this situation be addressed. Management should provide this employee, "J," with proper training on how to wrap sliced food correctly. Additionally, it is crucial the ambiance that all employees, including the deli and butcher employees, maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor. A salutation is always appreciated. Despite these concerns, the BBQ remains outstanding as always.

I was present at the establishment and ordered a chorizo bagel for breakfast. While waiting for my food, I observed an elderly gentleman preparing donuts with his bare hands, without gloves, and with very dirty nails. The level of dirtiness was so extreme that when my food arrived, I hesitated to consume it as I was unsure if he had prepared it. I promptly informed the manager of the situation and initially intended to leave it at that. The manager suggested I either receive a refund or have the food remade. I opted to return and requested that the individual preparing my bagel wear gloves the following morning. Upon returning to pick up the bagels, the manager expressed confusion as to why I was concerned about the lack of glove usage, citing issues with the dough sticking to them. I acknowledged this but inquired whether it was mandatory for the staff to maintain clean nails and wash their hands, as it is unacceptable for the company to permit food preparation with bare, dirty hands. I have previously filed a complaint regarding this employee and will continue to do so until she receives proper training on treating customers with respect. As a taxpayer and a professional with extensive experience in customer service, I am compelled to speak out. I have witnessed this employee treat a homeless individual with disrespect, prompting me to offer the individual $20 to purchase food. Although I am a paying customer, I have reduced my visits to this establishment due to the poor treatment. Recently, I requested ice as I am elderly and disabled, and was feeling lightheaded. However, the employee denied my request despite the fact that ice is complimentary and I had already brought a cup. I respectfully request that this employee be required to view the video on proper customer service etiquette. As a manager with over nine years of experience and over 30 years of public service, I am dismayed by the lack of concern exhibited by the owner, which I believe is motivated by my race. In most mornings, you will see me park my car here and order breakfast. The guy is the same one that works there every day. Very nice and kind. I often go for their breakfast combo. This consists of a medium size coffee, a bagel or burrito, and a donut. The coffee is wonderful, especially with their vanilla cream. I always ask for either the chorizo, or sausage, or ham and cheese burrito. The guy always does it well for me. The caramel and chocolate donuts are great. They have a few outdoor tables there but I like to bring my breakfast downtown and sit in one of their green canopied tables enjoying my Yum Yum treat. Reasonably price, too, at less than $10. It is always fun to come over this part of town early in the morning, especially on weekdays. read more

This place is horrible. Was waiting for the hispanic lady to finish making a sandwich to take my order and omg it was disgusting. I guess she sweated so she cleaned her forehead and continued to make the sandwich without washing her hands, she grabbed the lettuce cut it with her hand and put it into the sandwich.
