They bake fresh all day... so you never get that dry, day-old texture like it's been sitting there since before the Blip (a la Infinity Gauntlet). My secret move is asking "what just came out of the back?"... basically whatever is fresh out of the Quantum Realm, I want it. Anything that fresh tastes wonderful. I make weekly trips here to get a BLT bagel sandwich on an everything bagel, 7 donut holes, and a fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff always greets everyone who walks in and everyone usually gets service fairly quickly. Prices are fair. Selections of food and doughnuts are plentiful but I don't think they have any custard filled ones? Either way, this place is good. They have very few seats within the actual establishment, maybe 10 max. They've been here since I can remember! The parking situation is pretty good. It's thumbs up from me. We stopped here because it was next door to the gas station where we were filling up and we wanted something quick. The small parking lot was completely full and we had to wait for a spot, but only for a minute. We were greeted by two very friendly men There were many donut choices, and more warm donuts kept coming out. We ordered two vanilla iced coffees, a chocolate iced long John, and a Boston cream filled donut. The coffee was okay, night a little weak. My long John was not that great. There's a gentleman who works at this Yum Yum Donuts, around his 40s, and he is absolutely outstanding. Every time I come in, he greets me with a genuine smile and makes me feel like a valued customer. He's quick, efficient, and somehow always remembers my usual order, which makes the experience so much more personal. On top of that, he's incredibly polite and patient with everyone, even during busy mornings when the line is long. You can tell he really takes pride in what he does and enjoys serving people. This Yum Yum Donuts is a chain and this one is great. It is located right on Pico Blvd. and it is in a strip mall and parking is a breeze. Once you are in you will smell the fresh donuts. They also have amazing bagels and sandwiches. We love this one because the service is so great and the donuts and bagels are super fresh. All of their donuts are super and we just love their garlic bagels. We have also had a pastrami sandwich there which was very good. Solid donuts, friendly service. My interaction with the manager was quite pleasant. Face coverings required (and that's great), with face coverings worn by all staff members. Place was clean. Was nice to see that when the manager came to the counter to help me, he washed his hands first at the sink behind the counter before grabbing the donut tongs - I notice and appreciate stuff like that in these crazy covid times. My only complaint is I wish they had a little more variety. I had told the bald gentlemen twice, that they should have a sign on the door having a limit of 2 or 3 customers at one time in their tiny little spot. Unfortunately I won't be going back to this place. I am not sure what happened with service but its super slow. Three employees in there each doing something different except for addressing customers. You can tell nobody wants to engage customers. I watched one of the employees fill in a container of tuna but was doing it a spoon full at a time instead of just dumping it all in at once. The other filling the coffee did acknowledge the line of customers but then said he would be right back and disappeared for more than 10 minutes. There's been a steady decline in service for a while now at this location. But it was finally bad enough where I left a one-star review. Upon walking in I noticed three employees. One was pretending to make food while texting what he thought was out of sight. The other was counting cups while carrying on a conversation with whoever was on the other end of his air pods and the third upon seeing the growing line ran out of sight in the back. After waiting for over 5 minutes without even being acknowledged, by a single of the three employees. I began to notice other potential patrons who were also waiting, begin to walk out after not being served. At one point, one approaches the counter and inquired about his food which caused another to do the same. Both of them were there far longer than I was. Turns out there was quite a few other people still waiting for not only their food orders but their drink orders who had been there for longer than me. I'm not sure if it was the goal of the employees to ignore customers so they wouldn't have to work, but that was the end result. Even after the other customers who had already paid were asking about their food the employees shrugged and began asking each other who was making the food. At this point, not only myself, but a group of other people got annoyed with the wait and left. This is one of those reviews that I hope the owner or manager reads and addresses. I understand the debate we could go into of pay versus quality of work, but at the end of the day, if you're hiring somebody to do the job regardless of pay, they should still be doing what they're hired to do. If not, it's time to move them along since it's going to be your business suffering. Sad to see what was once a local favorite be reduced to poor service and laziness. Plenty of other donut shops to go to and I recommend anywhere else but here. read more

You already charged me FULL prices for each and individual items. So, I asked what is included in combo? No one reply! She justifying that it's not included. I'm getting pissed now! I tried to talked to the man who always helped us in the past. I know, he remembered me.. He kept dodging me & pretending not to hear me! R U FCKN kidding me!! Who does that? I've been buying snacks for me and my coworkers for a few years and sometimes I get them donuts from Yum Yum. Last week I bought the Yum Yum dozen to bring to work and turns out there were a few donuts missing from the box when I get to work. I decided to go after work to get the few that were missing. All I wanted were the ones I paid for, but I was a bit apprehensive they would believe me. I told the employee about the missing donuts and he immediately gave me the amount that were missing and some extra donuts holes. I was anxious about it but it all turned out well. I pre-ordered some "dodger theme" donuts over the phone for the World Series the night before the game. They informed me that they can make them for me and they would be ready for pick up at 6am the next day. Woke up early today to pick up my order, when I got there I already knew there was a problem. The guy behind the counter looked confused and seems like he was unaware of my order. He then got on the phone And phone the guy from the night shift if he knew of any order. Well, I purchased one Vanilla and one Chocalate French Cruller. It was like they were just being saved for me cause they were the only french Crullers left. Was it worth the search? Had a bad experience. Ordered 5 chocolate twists, they were all old and chewy. But the worse was the 9 grain bagel with cream cheese. Now that was super disgusting, it was black on one side.
