What the heck? I have to update my review yet again, and lower my stars. The online delivery menu has been revised to no longer allow you to select specific donuts. If you want a 1/2-dozen assorted donuts, you can't pick and choose. You can order only a "half dozen of their popular, Yum Yum's choice". The nature of bakeries has changed. I've been coming here for a few years and honestly, it's just slowly devolved into terrible. There's no real variety anymore. It's just chocolate and nuts. There's never any fruit filled. There's never any crullers left. We asked for weeks what time of the day do they make the crullers. No answer and then today they tell us they're not gonna make them anymore at all. Guys. Why does the lemon filled one taste like chemical waste. Upon a second taste, it's clorox wipes or maybe fabuloso? The vanilla filled one tastes like the little yellow concord banana candies... the maple bar is good though, and the apple fritter is good but dry. Pink frosting was mid. Raspberry filled one is good I guess... Donuts themselves are kinda salty? Would not really recommend unless you're just getting a maple bar. read more

When I asked when are they gonna bring the fresh donuts out, their response was when all the stale donuts are gone. I won't mention the fact that I wanted the last chocolate vanilla filled donut only to find out when I got home it was not in the bag. My only reconciliation was that I was going to be able to drink my ice cold chocolate milk. It was actually room temperature. Kind of like coffee after it has been sitting through a long drawn out conversation. Yes, I like a good doughnut, and yes I think that buttermilk bars are my favorite kind to eat, so every time I stop by a new doughnut shop, I try one of theirs. Donuts have become a rare luxury around this city over the past few years. Luckily while I am en route to work I can stuff myself silly with chocolate bars to put myself into a sugar high to make up for the lack of sleep. In the morning it can be pretty blown up with people since many schools are nearby and everyone loves donuts. Service can be unbelievably slow in the mornings as well but if you come in later in the morning you're set. I still want to apologize for almost losing my temper when I misheard the guy behind the counter say my half a dozen donuts ( to share, i promise ) was going to be 12 bucks. I was like " THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS!" They probably thought I was a crazy cool, but luckily it was far less than that. Took my kids for some donuts and when I arrived the place was empty. A customer had just walked out. The employee could had been a little more approachable but with COVID-19 and all, I just want to order and get out the door. Got my donut holes and one donut and left. Got home and the powder donut holes were all hard. They had been sitting there for a while. I gave them a call and they apologized and told me to come back with receipt and donut holes. Greasy, as in someone who doesn't know how to flip the donuts frying in the shortening without puncturing them greasy. Even the cake donuts were greasy, and they are extruded and usually automatically flipped over. The shortening here is not changed frequently, if ever, and the donuts taste of it. Yuk. The yeast donuts have a funky aftertaste, the same aftertaste that yeast Dunkin Donuts had for years until they changed the mix they sell to franchisees. You're better off getting them from a supermarket that is locally owned and still take pride in their bakery products. read more

Very Poor Customer Service.....and they don't care!! Don't waste your time going here....find another donut shop. This is the 3 time I have had a problem with this store. Today, at approximately 4:30 AM I placed a phone call to this store requesting they get 2 dozen assorted donuts packaged up so I could quickly pick them up as I was pressed for time. Upon my arrival at the store, I was somewhat shocked at I what I found. I instantly noticed the majority of the donut display case was EMPTY. They only had a few trays of donuts in the case, basically a very limited selection. My 2 dozen donuts would have been pretty a selection of about 5-6 donuts. Not exactly what I was hoping for. 4:30 in the morning and only a few donuts....I thought donut shops baked donuts all night to have a full and fresh selection ready for the morning customers?? When I walked up to the "window" (doors are locked at this hour, so you have to use a window), I asked the employee if this was all the donuts they had? I was hopeful there were more in the back....nope! He "looked up at the clock" which read 4:40 AM...10 minutes to 5:00 AM and said that was all they had. He also had a very "who cares" attitude while dealing with me....like he didn't care one bit at all about it, like no big deal. I was quite upset as I would not have WASTED my time going to this donut shop. Why didn't he tell me on the phone when I ordered the 2 dozen donuts that they didn't have a good selection...I could have made my decision at that time. So, now I am very upset at this situation as now I have to go find another donut shop in the night to make my purchase....already pressed for time and now I am on a wild goose chase. Parking lot is still quite dark....not exactly safe to get out your care late at night or early in the morning. I don't know who manages or franchises this store....but Yum Yum corporate office needs to take a hard look at this operation and how they operate....they truly don't care about the customer. I have been a customer of this donuts shop for probably 30 years and have never been impressed with there selection of donuts in the evening. The place seems to have improved a lot. Kind family owned shop " they can make custom orders that you don't see at other doughnut shops. Upon request, they can bake to your liking .if the line is long don't worry , they can express it real quickly and are always asking --who's next ? .
