Service was pleasant as usual & that's a great thing with customer service these days seem to be in the septic tank. Freezer in front is out of service but ice cream cakes & ice cream bars are available for purchase, just inquire with the staff. Tables indoors & outside very chill atmosphere. Located in shopping center on corner near Soapy Joe's car wash. This has always been my preferred location but they don't sell French Fries any longer at this location but have 's. I have gone here before and this time was fine. I got the Oreo Fudge Brownie blizzard and it was really good! One thing I didn't really like was that the woman making my blizzard put the toppings in first before the ice cream. I thought it was fine except she didn't mix it very well so as I was eating it, there were no toppings in the whole top of the ice cream. Once I got to the very end, there were more toppings but I had already eaten my ice cream. The service was fine but she had my buzzard sitting in her hand while she was telling one of her employees how to do something for a customer at the register. I went to the Dairy Queen located on Jamacha Road & Fury road. My friend wanted a banana split blizzard. She goes here all the time and it's her favorite. I walked inside and saw there was one customer eating an ice cream cone and an employee that was walking into the backroom until I said hello. She didn't say hello back to me so I didn't feel too welcome. I ordered the drink for my friend and she asked me anything else. I stayed no and told her I need to get my wallet out of the car. She went to make the order. While she was doing that, I was texting my friend that the drink is being made and the employee is rude. My friend described the staff as the owner and she works there all the time. Once the drink was made, the owner whom is Yung said is there something else? I said no and why do you ask? She said because I was looking around. I said I'm texting my friend about the drink you made and will take a picture of it to see if it's made correctly. My friend said it looked okay. I asked the owner Yung why not customer friendly? She said I'm nice to my regular customers and that I've owned this place for 26 years. I said we'll you should be nice to new customers too, because you don't know who they are like in my situation. My friend wanted me to buy a drink here and you made me have a bad experience by your bad attitude. She never apologized or had any regret of what she sad earlier. Based on my experience, I give this place a 1 score only Yelpers. The owner doesn't believe in customer service to new people only to regular customers. Although this place has been here for a long time and i live nearby, I hardly ever come. Decided, I wanted some ice cream and didn't feel like driving, so I walked over to Dairy Queen. It was busy for a typical Saturday evening. Both workers were very nice and helpful. The location was clean and had some tables outside to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. I love dairy queen ice cream. You can get it in a cone or in a cup you can get chocolate swirl with vanilla you can get it in a cup you can get a blizzard. So as busy or slow as this place may seem, the older Asian lady at the counter (who always seems to be working) keeps her game right! This lady can take a full order and make it quickly without forgetting or asking any questions. PLUS it's all correct! Every time I have ever been here I have never had an issue. They're really quick and get you that delicious DQ fix just like when you were a kid. They also make their ice cream bars on property which is really neat.
