Great neighborhood donut shop! Regular mix is great to bring in to work. I had an additional two of the apple fritters. One of their specialties is apple fritters lots of fruit and not greasy or oily. We also like their blueberry donuts . We used to be a big fan of vGs blueberry buttermilk bars, but we actually prefer Heavenly Donuts because there's are less sweet. Donut holes are great add onto any order. They usually have plain powdered sugar and cinnamon sugar to choose from. Cronuts and croissants are good as well . Services is good and friendly.... read more

This is my humble neighborhood donut shop and it has always served us stellar donuts all days of the week. Not only do they have a great selection of donuts but they also offer yummy bagel sandwiches, croissants and of course the beloved and hard to find cronut!! (a mix of a croissant and donut it's a must try) I also personally love their maple icing so you can never go wrong with any maple donut in my opinion. The staff is always friendly, attentive and quick.(because this place does get busy especially in the work day mornings!) It is a small shop with just a couple seats but definitely a more grab and go place. They also serve coffee and have cold drinks like milk, apple juice, etc available in a fridge. I would give this a 0 if possible, I'm not one to ever leave negative reviews but I felt so violated, disrespected, and belittled the more then I ever have previously in my 33 years on this earth. I've been coming here since I was still in diapers and will never return and will reporting this if it's not made right. I'm recently considered fully disabled due to my epilepsy becoming extreme, and need my service animal with me to signal when a seizure is imminent amongst other responsibilities. Keep in mind my whole life I never needed this service full time until basically this past Christmas. As we entered, it was completely empty & a woman came from the back and before even properly greeting or being somewhat friendly and welcoming, I was told "no dogs in here; only ones that are service dogs" I wasn't asked if Phil was a service dog, I wasn't told nicely, I wasn't in any way greeted and treated like a paying customer who's supported them for decades, I was instantly a problem for them who's not welcome In her eyes, sadly. I then explained that Phil is a service dog and falls under the ADA act and it's for my epilepsy but before I could even finish the sentence, she made a very hurtful, disrespectful and down right degrading comment while rolling her eyes. What she let out, she mumbled and tried to say quietly but she made sure it was just loud enough for me to hear, as well for the camera mic in my glasses to pick up almost verbatim... "yeah I'm sure he is that's what everyone says I don't believe it" followed very very quickly with "what can I get you" to try and cover it, I IMMEDIATELY stopped, paused & turned my view from the donuts I was picking to directly at her and asked her to repeat it, she wouldn't, I asked her again to repeat what she said, and she just asked me again "what can I get you" so I asked for A THIRD time to repeat the comment she made about my dog directly before that question, and she wouldn't. I was hoping for at the very least a simple apology or at least a gesture to ease the weight and hurt of that comment, nothing came. I'm beyond disappointed and will never be back. Hopefully I'll get some sort of apology or something at least to ease the embarrassment. It's hard enough going from totally unassisted to fully disabled in a span of a couple months, and the difficulties physically and mentally that come with it, any extra stress or shame is unnecessary read more

I've been coming here since I was little. This donut shop always hits for me. It's a charming, cozy neighborhood donut shop. The owners are so welcoming and sweet. My favorite ones would be the lemon, strawberry sprinkles donuts, and the ham and cheese croissant. I love this donut shop! I live all the way in Mission Hills with two donut shops very close to my home, and I still drive all the way to this donut shop about once a week. The location is pretty convenient, they are located in a small strip mall and I've always been able to park very easily. The donuts are very high-quality and very fresh. The service has always been consistently friendly and I generally enjoy coming in and seeing the familiar faces. If you are coming on a weekend, I highly recommend calling first. They will close as soon as they're sold out of donuts. If you are picky about what donuts you get, then definitely give them a call to make sure the kind of donuts you want are still available. So far the only things I've had are donuts and coffee in both of it fantastic. They do have muffins and croissants and they make breakfast sandwiches as well. I don't believe they have a restroom for customers, but there are several businesses nearby if you did need a restroom. read more

Someone brought a box of these donuts into work yesterday, and I got the chance to try out their lemon donut. Holy wow! I don't know where this donut has been in my life. It was quite possibly the best donut I've had in a long time. I have yet to try the chocolate donut I took from the box, but I suspect it's gonna be just as good as the lemon. Rude customer service. Tried to sell me old donuts reg price. Pretty sure I was one of the first customers this morning. Came in at 6:30am and noticed a box on the counter. I ordered donuts and she handed me that box. I thought it was weird that they had it ready to go, so when I got in the car I checked the donuts and they seemed fine. When I got to the office I noticed that the cake donuts were a bit hard and the glazed donuts were melted. I went back and asked if they can give me different donuts from the case. SUUUUPER rudely they proceeded to try and argue with me and raise their voices "we don't have old donuts!" I wasn't rude, didn't raise my voice. I was a bit annoyed that I had to drive all the way back for this but I didn't ask for compensation for having to drive back or try to insult their donuts. Great family owned small business. Been getting donuts from here for decades. All donuts are made fresh each night/early morning and sold until they sell out, so yeah, maybe don't go in at 1pm expecting full trays of everything. No line so it was quick. However, the lady was rude. As I walked in, I heard her giving the guy ordering a lecture because he mispronounced or misspoke on what he wanted and she was telling him how he was in the wrong. As he walked away he looked embarrassed, but he didn't engage with her lecturing. I could tell off that the lady was just being rude, because he wasn't giving her a hard time. Just listened to her rant. I ordered and she told me the price and I was ready to pay then she rudely told me "hold on" but I was just ready to pay since I assumed she was ready for me to pay. I love a good buttermilk bar and this place a darn good one. I had the buttermilk bar topped with a chocolate glaze for $1.14: a little higher than what I normally pay at other location but anywho. What I love best about buttermilk bars are their signature crust that leads into that soft moist semi sweet center with that little bit of tang from the buttermilk. This one had all those qualities, in addition to the terrific chocolate crust. The chocolate was just right too. It was not to overly sweet but it tasted of nice chocolate. The doughnut shop is on the small side with only a few tables inside with some along the window, but during my visit, the majority of the patrons were taking their delicious doughnut to go.
