I came in to enjoy some dessert and noticed a whole bunch of bugs in this place . The service was good but the place is super dirty. I don't know how people continue to come with conditions like this . You shouldn't walk in an establishment and notice bugs in the corners of the windows ON THE INSIDE . Floor dirty and it just gives the ick . Will not be coming back again due to the lack of cleanliness.

Donuts are one of my favorite sweet treats and mochinut is the perfect consistency of bouncy and chewy. Their Korean style hotdogs are very tasty also. My favorite is the half and half. Prices are definitely higher than your regular donut shop but worth it. Staff is friendly and it's cute inside perfect for a quick selfie with your favorite mochinut/drink.

There's not too many dessert shops near spring valley, but national city isn't too far and these chewy donuts are so delicious! Got a dozen for a birthday gathering.

LOVE IT HERE is an understatement! We got this garlic Mayo, literal flavor bomb! Sounds gross but it was out of this world, not what I expected. The mochi donuts were delicious as well. You cannot go wrong.

Friendly and quick service. Small inside with a couple tables and cute photo op wall. There weren't many flavors/donuts on display but the flavors were written on the glass and I saw a tray of donuts ready to go in the back. I got the ube, churro, and chocolate churro. It's really good fresh but gets stale fast, but that's just because of the chewy mochi. I also got an original mozarella Korean "hot dog". Came here at 3pm after just finishing work in the area, didnt eat breakfast or lunch and the crispy, fried mozzarella hit the spot. I meant to only eat half but I ate the whole thing on my drive back to north county haha.

Mochinut is always a go-to spot for me--I usually grab a mix of their mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs because you really can't go wrong with either. This time, I decided to switch it up and try their fries, and I'm so glad I did! They offer both crinkle and straight cut, which I thought was a fun option. I went with the crinkle fries and they were honestly amazing--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. I might actually like them just as much as the corn dogs now, which says a lot. They're definitely a new favorite and something I'll be adding to my usual order. Mochinut keeps surprising me in the best way, and I love that there's always something new to try every time I go.

Mochinut is a very cute and cozy store with cherry blossoms hanging from the ceilings. It is a very good place for taking photos and relaxing. The donuts are wonderfully chewy, the cheese sticks are delicious, and the drinks are pretty good!!

Coming in you are sweetly welcomed with the smell of the donuts and by a very kind worker! ive been here a many times and never had a bad experience, donuts are such a perfect consistency and everything is freshly baked. Corndogs are so yummy and if you love the satisfaction of cheese pulls i 100% recommend coming and getting the mozzarella corndog and if you love spicy get the hot cheetos one, has a good kick and the flavors together so damn good! ive been to different places and you cant even taste the hot cheetos but here you can forsure!! the interior is very aesthetically pleasing. a good place to sit and study for a bit!! ive also came in one hot day with my dog and the worker offered to give some ice and that really made me smile not a lot of places offer to give something to your dog so i love that they are warm and welcoming to EVERYONE that comes in really shows good hospitality!! overall 1000% recommend!!

Been at the place a few times, more than I want to admit Their mochi donuts are great, and this is coming from a person who don't care too much about donut. Our top 3 Taro, Funnel cake and the original. The Boba drinks are also a must. It is pricier than your usual donuts shops but trust me, well worth it.

It's nice to see a Mochinut open up here in National City! It's refreshing to see a new dessert/ snack shop in the area that is not just boba! They had many donuts readily available and we decided on a dozen to try new flavors. Avocado (3/5): Green icing and a white chocolate chip on top. This one was a little strange but it didn't have any hint of avocado. It wasn't bad but this flavor definitely got our attention to try it! Oreo (4/5): I love a cookies and cream flavor so this one was going to be sweet but paired with the chewy fried dough it was like eating a fried Oreo. Churro (3/5): Looks and tastes like a churro! I wouldn't my really go for this one but we chose this for more variety. Strawberry Funnel Cake (5/5): My favorite out of all of them. Resembles an actual funnel cake with the powdered sugar and strawberry syrup! It wasn't t doing too much and wasn't overly sweet either.

I ordered one glazed twist and one chocolate twist, but I didn't open the box until I got home and realized I had been given two chocolate twists instead. I also noticed the Long John had a noticeable thumb indentation in the icing, and the red velvet donut was about one-third smaller than the ones that were on display. It was my mistake for not checking the box before leaving, but it was too far of a drive to go back. One suggestion I would make is to leave the box open until the customer has a chance to verify the order before it's closed. That could help prevent simple mistakes like this. Overall, the donuts tasted good, but paying a little more attention to order accuracy and presentation would make for a much better first impression.

If that's your vibe, you might love it here! I think the issue for me is the espresso itself. I've tried switching things up plenty of times like adding extra shots, adjusting the sweetness, trying different combinations and I haven't found the one that clicks for me. That said, I will say the black iced coffee or cold brew is pretty decent. It's not my first coffee stop, but if I'm looking for something simple and keto friendly, I'd consider it. One thing I do really like is the cup sizes. You definitely get a lot of coffee for what you order, and I wish I loved the taste because the portion sizes are huge. Another positive is the service every time I've gone, the staff has been friendly and I've never had an issue. That alone goes a long way for me and is a big reason I'm still giving it 3 stars. Also, worth mentioning: they had these bling tumblers one time and they were actually super cute and girly. I grabbed a few for Christmas gifts for some friends and they loved them.
