Seriously though... rice is never going to be the same or flavorful anywhere else now... I've been ruined by Yumbo.

Would've been 5 stars, but the chicken teriyaki was not great. The poke bowl was fresh and delicious. My fault for ordering chicken at a (mostly) fish/seafood restaurant. Lesson learned, never again! I ordered online to pick up the food and it was only a couple minute wait until it was ready. Very small space in the strip center off Oakland Park Blvd. Only a few tables, so do take-out or grab a seat. read more

I love to eat Poke bowls. I'm constantly on the move for my job traveling the lower half of Florida, always looking for healthy meals that don't weigh me down and make me comatose. I was hangry and needed to eat healthy poke bowl and Yelp reviews showed this to be pretty solid. I found it in a familiar area, but difficult to see from Oakland Park Blvd as it's right next to the Intracoastal bridge in a small strip plaza, wth parking across the street. Ordering is like all other Poke places. I picked a bowl and they made it while I waited to take it home. Lots of sauces and fillings to choose from, which is great. The bowl was fresh, delicious and filling. I had raw tuna and salmon and they were very fresh! This place became my new go to for poke in Ft Laud/Oakland Park. The poke is very delicious and fresh. I like that they don't overkill it with the sauces. It's just the right amount and the ingredients especially tuna/salmon that I got were super fresh. They also serve boba. Limited flavors but delicious. Bonus: they're open even when it's raining. A lot of stores surprisingly close to early during heavy rain but Yumbo operated regular hours. read more

This is by far my favorite poke/Thai restaurant in town. Why? I'm glad you asked! First and foremost it's ran by an amazing family that makes me feel like I'm part of theirs. Everything is so fresh. The flavors, the seafood,the presentation are beyond what any other place does. It's also affordable. Honestly to cheap for the total experience. If they were to turn this place into a high end restaurant everyone in Fort Lauderdale would be talking about it! Best kept secret but not really a secret!! The poke was good, not outstanding. The best part was there was a lot of salmon in it. On the other hand, I was told the sauce was in it, but didn't see it or taste it. They were very accommodating by making a substitution for an ingredient I can't eat. The atmosphere is unexceptional. A few tables along one wall. I think this may be because they are mostly takeout. Unfortunately, while I was there, one of the people preparing food kept sneezing. I finally asked that he put on a mask, since he was preparing food. All I got was a stare. read more

OH MY GOD...... The food here does not disappoint. The fish tastes like it's still swimming. I don't understand how it's so fresh and flavorful!!! The fish here tastes better than the fish I had at the tuna auction in TOKYO!!!!! Holy cow am I also happy this place is here. Took the kiddies for some boba tea and a poke bowl for me . Ended up ordering some papaya salad also which was super fresh and delicious and spicy like I like it . Crab Rangoons had tons of crab! Spring rolls (veggie) were good as well , kids ate them on the way home and immediately asked me to return to purchase more (another day ) poke bowls were super fresh and they can accommodate whatever toppings you would like .
