I came across a katsu place in Dublin that's a Korean restaurant rather than a Japanese restaurant, which I found really interesting, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered their donkatsu, which was a deep fried pork cutlet, served with Korean style chewy noodles. First of all, I really loved the consistency of the chewy noodles. They were made with wheat flour and starch, which gave them a really nice chewiness that I enjoyed. Unfortunately, I didn't care much for the sauce. It was not bad - it was sweet, spicy, and slightly tangy, but it just isn't my favorite flavor profile. I also wasn't really sure that the noodles paired that well with the cutlet. I felt like the noodles overwhelmed the cutlet, and the cutlet itself tasted pretty bland. Someone else at my table ordered the cutlet with rice and curry sauce, and I actually thought that tasted better, so I'd probably get that instead next time. The restaurant was pretty small and very busy on the weekend. I completely understand that they were busy, but we basically didn't get any service whatsoever. We had a kid with us, and nobody came by to offer us a highchair. And then, during our entire meal, nobody came by to offer to refill our water either. The service was extremely lacking, and I think that really affected my overall experience. I just wish they had paid a little more attention to the quality of service they were providing.
I had lunch w/ some rellies at nearby Yumee, a Korean katsu place in Dublin off the 580. You order from a screen at your table, and the food is brought to you: Most entrees are ~ $21. I ordered the giant pork katsu curry. It comes w/ rice, salad, soup, radish and kimchee. The pork cutlet was massive. I was stuffed afterwards. On the other hand, the flavor of the curry was just ok. I have had this dish (donkatsu) in LA K Town, and the place I went to had a better seasoned curry. Regarding the ambiance, YK is one of several casual eateries in this strip mall. Its small inside but comfortable. The servers are friendly enough and efficient. I'd return if I were in the area. However, I would not go out of my way to come here. The food is pretty good, and it was conveniently located.
This place was good! I got the curry katsu and shared some of the katsu mozzarella. Each plate came with side of salad, rice, and miso soup, sauce, and some side. Plenty of parking in the plaza.
I was craving katsu and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the spicy pork katsu, which came with miso soup, salad, pickles, kimchi, and sauce. The katsu was crispy, juicy, and not overcooked. Everything tasted good. And the sides complemented the meal well.
This place has been on my list for a while, and I'm glad I checked it out! I came here for a quick dinner on a weeknight, and was shocked to see it fully packed. It is a relatively smaller restaurant with about 8 tables or so. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive, and checking in periodically to make sure our waters are filled and we're enjoying the food. I like how the katsu includes a variety of sauces/pairings to enhance the flavor! The curry was delicious and I really enjoyed the pork tonkatsu (part of the assorted plate). I'd come back here to try more items on their menu. Parking is easy! It's located in a shopping plaza so plenty of parking spaces in an open lot.
Service is really good: friendly, attentive, fast and fast. I like the big katsu, it's so tasty. Soba is yummy too. Pork Katsu is delicious. Parking is easy. Nice, clean store. Will come again
First time trying this place and chose it since we were craving something different than the normal places we eat. When I was in Japan, we went to restaurants that specializes in katsu mainly. We ordered on our table with the self help monitor- Pork Katsu and chicken katsu with curry. Food was nicely presented with daikon, Kim chee and miso soup and a cabbage salad. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and my wife seemed to like my pork a bit more than her chicken . Still 5 stars for both. Service- the gentleman manager with the #1 dad hat was very nice and checked on us. Easy and relaxing place to eat. We can on a Saturday at 2 pm and the place was close to full and we got lucky we got a table. Max capacity says 38 people. Would definitely come again when craving for katsu!
Found this place when looking for a place to eat after seeing a nearby movie. It's a smaller restaurant that was pretty busy for a weeknight dinner. Ordering is done through a tablet and I went with a chicken katsu curry udon. The flavors of the chicken and udon were pretty solid and the curry wasn't really spicy, but it had some hints of heat. It comes with some side dishes but I only really liked the miso soup.
Spicy Chewy Noodles are our favorite here. The wait isn't as long as it used to be but the food is still top notch for katsu in the area. Also recommend the cheese katsu.
Yumee Katsu absolutely delivered. Everything we ordered was solid, satisfying, and genuinely delicious. The standout for me was the katsu curry. The katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender inside, and the curry was rich, flavorful, and completely addictive. I kept going back for another bite even when I was already getting full. The udon noodle soup was comforting and well-balanced, while the cold soba noodles were refreshing and nicely textured. I also loved the chewy spicy cold noodles--they had a great bite and just the right amount of spice, making them surprisingly memorable. Portions here are incredibly generous. Even after eating until I was stuffed, my plate still looked full. Definitely great value for the amount of food you get. The meal also comes with kimchi and yellow radish sides, which were the perfect complement. Their freshness and acidity helped cut through the richness of the fried dishes and tied everything together nicely. Overall, a delicious meal with generous portions and plenty of variety. I'd happily come back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're craving quality katsu and comforting noodle dishes.
Stumbled on this place when me and my fam were looking for a place to have a late lunch after shopping at the outlets. I love me a good curry katsu plate, and appreciated how they also offer noodles with their katsu, as my bf prefers that instead of rice. We were shocked to notice the spicy noodles come out cold (we absolutely love cold noodles) since not many places offer that. We were so impressed at how tasty literally everything we ordered was. The staff were also so nice and welcoming, and inside was pretty spacious with many filled tables. This will definitely be our new go-to spot to come by after a shopping day at the outlets!
Overall food was good and service was friendly. The portion size looks a bit less than the pictures on the menu. You can ask for more radish which we didn't know about until the waiter ask us. Not really suitable for large parties as most tables are for 4 people.
When we arrived on a Saturday night, we got seated right away. We're a party of 2. We ordered the Yumee Katsu and the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice which were both delicious. The katsu were very juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The restaurant was very quiet overall with diners chatting within their tables so this is a great restaurant if you're looking for something quiet. I would come back here again.

It's hard to find katsu around here let along good katsu. I ordered the yumee katsu which is basically a chicken katsu. I was going to get the king (pork) but after seeing some reviews I opted for the yumee. It was a good portion. Came with some soup and rice. Price was fair. Located in a nice plaza. There was a bit of a wait when we showed up and I think we waited about 20-30 mins. It's not a huge place so parties 4 or less would be best. We also tried the udon as well. It was ok. I would go back to try the other katsu. read more
Came here on a Saturday for lunch and had to wait about 30 minutes. It is a pretty small restaurant and you can add your name to the waitlist on a tablet in the store. We got the food fairly quickly and overall it was decent but I thought the pork katsu could've been crispier and had more flavor. The spicy noodles were good though and they were very generous with the portions. Overall pretty good to try, next time I will try their curry udon. Lots of parking at least! read more

Yumee Katsu has all the classic katsu and with a little Korean twist! They offer sides of pickled radish and kimchi radish which is a nice addition. I appreciate that their menu is expansive with special items and even curry katsu. The restaurant isn't super big so the table space feels a bit cramped, but nothing terribly uncomfortable. I still prefer Jungdon Katsu in Danville more but I enjoyed the food here a lot and would definitely return! 4.5/5 spot for me. This is a rare spot where I preferred the chicken katsu over the pork katsu! RECS: + Donkatsu with spicy chewy noodle ($19.99) was my absolute fave! The spicy noodles have the chewy, buckwheat texture of cold noodles and it is coated with a tteokbokki-like sauce. This paired with the thinly sliced chicken katsu was perfection + Katsu curry ($20.99) had a savory, comforting curry and nicely sliced katsu! + Order a side of cold soba (+$3.99) if ordering just an entree of katsu, it makes for a refreshing addition read more
Came here around 5:30 pm on a Tuesday with my girlfriend, wasn't too packed, there were a few tables open. You just come in and if there are tables open you can get seated. The place is pretty small, so during peak hours it would tend to be very busy. You order through a kiosk, and you can look through your options. They give waters to start. We ordered the Katsu Curry Udon, one of the best things ever, it comes with side dishes, utensils, and sesame seeds on the table as well to put more flavor on your curry or sauce. We also ordered an extra 2 shrimp because it looked delicious on the table next to us and that was also super good. I highly recommend if you want awesome katsu, curry, or all of the above! read more
Visited a few more times. Service has been a lot better, especially as I've been sitting at the side tables with the tablet to input your order. I was able to order and get my food within 10 minutes. I also liked how we were given a big jug of water with lemon in it as well! Service was attentive and prompt. The katsu itself was still crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! read more

Yumee Katsu (a Korean/ Japanese restaurant) is the newest addition to the Fallon Gateway plaza, taking over the former Ramen 101 spot. There aren't too many katsu spots in the area, so I was very excited to try this place! Hours from Monday through Thursday are 11:00AM - 2:30PM and then 4:30PM - 9:00PM. Friday, Sat, and Sun hours are 11:00AM - 9:00PM. The restaurant is not big but it appears to utilize the space well to fit as many tables in as legally possible. During rush hour, I can see this place getting packed very quickly as they only have about 12 tables. They do have a little tablet to the left of the front counter to put your name down. Awkward location for a tablet as it's in the middle of the restaurant (feels like it should be by the front door), but the saying goes if it ain't broken, don't fix it. [+1 star] Friendly service. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated immediately. A minute later, the waiter came back with two waters in plastic cups and a carafe. We poured our waters and it was infused with lemon (a nice touch!). Waiter explained that we can place our order using the iPad. I looked around to see that some tables had an iPad and some didn't. So just something to pay attention to. If your table does not have an iPad, you'll have to place your order with the waiter directly. [+1 star] Simple menu and food came out quickly. A very simple menu that was broken up into five sections for food - 1) Katsu items, 2) Curry items, 3) Noodle items, 4) Special items, and 5) Side items. We ordered the Spicy pork Katsu from the special items menu and the hot Yumee Udon from the noodle menu, plus a 4 pieces of cheese katsu from the sides menu. Despite it being a full house at this point, it didn't take too long for the food to come out. Whatever system they have in place, it works! [+1 star] Big portions. The spicy pork katsu came out first and we were surprised how big the portion was. It came with rice, salad, soup, curry, plus kimchi and yellow pickled radish for banchan. The katsu was cooked well. Thinly breaded and very crispy. It was a leaner cut so I think that's why it came out to be a little on the dry side. It was very tender though. My SO said that the spicy pork was great! Had a nice kick to it and that it paired well with the katsu. Definitely a hearty meal. Next came the cheese katsu side order. I think this was the best tasting and best looking item of the night. Once again, it was perfectly fried, very crispy, not too oily, and there was a great cheese pull to the mozzarella. It came with 4 pieces, though the menu online in my photo stated that it only comes with 2 pieces. If you're struggling on what to get, definitely order this and you won't be disappointed. [- 1 star] Cold curry sauce and hot udon didn't match the menu photo. My SO used the curry sauce to help with the dryness of the katsu and commented on how it was cold (like it had been prepped and sitting out for a while). The salad really isn't a salad, but more of just shredded cabbage that came with a strange tasting dressing (in my opinion). We should've asked for the dressing on the side, so that's noted for next time. My hot udon was the next to arrive. It came with fish cake, fish balls, tempura bits, and seaweed. On the menu for the hot udon, it looked like there was a scoop of something. Couldn't quite figure it out from the picture and was excited to try to see if I could determine what the item was when my order came. When my bowl arrived, it was noticeably missing the scoop of the mysterious item! Though this satisfied my udon craving, I don't think it was anything special. Next time, I will order the spicy chewy noodle or the kimchi udon! [+1 star] Attentive service. Despite it being a full house, our waiter came to our table probably about 5-6 times throughout our meal to check in on us to see if we needed anything. He did notice that our water carafe went empty and brought us another without us flagging him down. Overall, a very solid spot for katsu and udon. Excited to try their other items next time! If you have room dessert, they had Melona bars available for purchase for only $1.00 each!! In this economy, that's a steal!! If you're in the area, definitely put this spot on your list of places to try. read more

Really enjoyed this meal! The pork katsu was crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside, and the portion was very generous. The curry udon was rich, flavorful, and comforting without being too heavy. I also liked the fresh cabbage on the side, which balanced everything nicely. The kimchi and pickled radish were great additions as well. Everything came out fresh and well prepared. Overall, a satisfying and filling meal with good portions. If you like katsu, this is definitely a place to try. Dining here can get busy at peak hours and if it's your first time, you have to go close to register to put your name in to get a table. Staff aren't super friendly the first time I stepped in to figure out the process. Takeout here has been fantastic. They have takeout bowls that keep the katsu separate from the rice. Their katsu is so crispy and even their chicken is juicy. Entrees come with the coleslaw, kimchi radish, pickled radish and a soup. Compared to Demiya in West Dublin, I would choose to come here, hands down! Parking is ok outside of lunch hrs. During lunch hours between 12-1:30pm, it can be hard to find a spot. read more

I really enjoyed both the katsu curry udon and the cheese udon but what stood out to me the most was the curry sauce! I was truly addicted to it because it tasted different than the ones I had at other restaurants. Moreover, a side order of the cheese katsu was a perfect amount for us as we didn't want to have too much of a heavy meal. Service was quick and pretty convenient since you could just order off of a tablet. However, if you're going during a busy time, the restaurant is a bit cramped when full. While the food is really yummy and it was a convenient bite in the area, I would like to mention that the prices were a bit on the higher side than what I was expecting (although I understand that these prices are around the average of what is expected nowadays). read more

We were so lucky when we scored a table for 9 ppl at 12:45pm on a Saturday. It was easy to order on the tablet. Food came out pretty fast. We probably waited less than 10 minutes after we ordered. Food was delicious! Everything was hot and fresh! The portions are quite large. The curry almost taste like bbq sauce. I'm glad I got it on the side. A little goes a long way. There was enough meat for the 4 of us. We just needed to order some udon sides and extra rice. The kids got free melona popsicles after our meal. The owner is so generous! We will be back! read more
My friend and I arrived here when they opened at 11am and was seated right away. We ordered our food on the tablet and the food came out pretty quickly. My friend ordered the chicken katsu and I ordered the cheese katsu. Both were really good. They were crispy and flavorful. I didn't like the dressing on the cabbage at all. It tasted like soap to me. However, I was able to ask for a side of plain cabbage. I wish they had a sesame type of dressing for the cabbage instead. Service was pretty good. They did check in quite a few times. The restaurant itself is pretty small. Not sure if they get overly busy but by the time we left around 12, all the tables were occupied. I'd def come back if I'm craving Katsu. read more

It was like a momma's home cookin'. Comes with rice, salad, soup, sides of sauce, wasabi, kimchi, and pickled radish - making excellent flavor combinations. Tried it on a rainy day. Really enjoyed it. I picked the special Topokki Katsu. The sauce is quite good. Spice level is about 1/5. The pork is perfectly cooked, it's tender, moist with crunchy coating. I took half a star for the rice cake being inconsistent. Some pieces are harder to chew than others. And another half star off for the price. The whole thing is $21. With taxes and tips the whole meal was $27. It comes with sliced cabbage salad, a small broth, and 2 radish banchan. The place was packed during lunch time so come early if you have a big group. read more

I really enjoyed this new addition to Dublin. I've never been to a chicken katsu restaurant before but it was very delicious. My friend and I ordered the assorted katsu and topokki to split. The topokki had a nice spice to it and came with crunchy toppings as well as green onions and half a cooked egg. My favorite katsu was between the shrimp and cheese one. I also got a side of udon which tasted good and was great on the cold day we were there. Including two sodas our Bull was about $50 which I found to be reasonable as we were very full after the meal. I liked that you could order from the touch screen at your table and service was fast. The restaurant is slightly small and fills up fast so you need to get there early. The just opened Yumee Katsu serves a Korean style Katsu. Located in the Fallon Rd. Shopping center in Dublin, it a small restaurant with about seating for 25. Service is both at the table or order at the counter. Our first try the wait was over 40 minutes. So we came back the next day. The Kathy is made to order. The curry is flavorful. Service is ok. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. They close between lunch and dinner. Same ownership as SSAM Korean BBQ in Pleasanton. read more

We came on a Saturday afternoon during the soft opening. We knew it would be busy and it was! We put our names down on the waitlist which was about 6 parties long. We went to Target and came back and we were second on the list. After waiting just a little bit longer, we were seated. We probably waited a total of 45 min for a table. We ordered quickly on the tablet at the table. The food took maybe 15 minutes to arrive. I got the shrimp curry rice and my hubby got the curry katsu rice. The curry had a bite to it but wasn't necessarily spicy. The flavor was a little mild for our liking. I like a really strong a powerful curry, but it was good. The shrimp wasn't as meaty as I would have liked but the fry on it was nice - crispy and done really well. My husband really liked his katsu and he doesn't usually eat pork. The service was fine. We didn't interact with servers much because everything was done on the tablet. Ambiance was a little loud. The interior of the restaurant did not feel super inviting but no matter because the food was good. read more

We came here really late on a Saturday night. This small restaurant was completely packed (like I expected) especially since we came in about 30 min before closing. We decided to get take out because of this. I got the katsu curry with a small udon while my bf got spicy pork katsu. They both came with miso along with kimchi and radish. Overall I want to give it a 3.5/5. Since it's my first time ordering from here, I'll give them a chance and round the stars up to 4. The food seemed to lack some salt and the curry seemed very little compared to the katsu. The spicy pork was alright, but nothing special about it. I'd be willing to try this place again, but I don't think I would go out of the way for it. Maybe I will eat inside next time and hopefully have a better experience. read more

I went with his recommendation and ordered the assorted plate -- and it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious! Yumee Katsu in Dublin definitely impressed me. This is hands down the best Japanese curry I've tried so far in California. The flavor was rich, comforting, and honestly pretty close to the curry I had in Japan -- that same authentic depth and warmth that's hard to find here. The katsu was crispy and tender, and the portion sizes were solid. Service was quick and the staff were friendly, making the whole visit smooth and easy. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the place can get pretty busy and a little loud, but the food itself is top-tier. If you're craving real Japanese curry, Yumee Katsu is absolutely worth the stop. I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area. read more
My first time here as I came with a friend. This place used to be Ramen 101 which closed, but there are other locations around the area if you still want Ramen 101. The parking lot was packed when I came around noon today. My friend and I got lucky as we saw someone pulling out of a parking space and we parked there right away. We got the King Donkatsu dish which was delicious! Enough to share for two people. It took a bit of work to use the knife to cut the katsu. The katsu was krispy and fresh, my friend and I split this pork katsu. We both enjoyed it. It comes with small bowl of soup. rice, pickles, and radish. We also got the Ymee Soba (cold) dish which comes with a small dish of pickles and radish. All were pretty good. We split that dish as well. Overall, we enjoyed both dishes. My only recommendation is to have better knives to cut the katsu as it took awhile to cut it due to the knife. Other than that, not too bad. Every table has a kiosk to order, you order at your table. A water pitcher plus two cups are given to you as soon as you sit down at the table. I enjoyed the katsu more than the soba. I would come back to try another katsu dish. read more
I was unsure about this Korean katsu place at first because it was not Japanese katsu. Maybe it was more fusion than anything, but either way it was so good! Katsu was prepared so well and flavors really popped! Service was incredibly attentive and quick even tho it got busy at dinner hour. Trying this new katsu place runs by Korean! We ordered a katsu plate and one with curry. It comes with soup, rice and salad. We love a katsu place in Danville but this one also is a good option. This place was a solid katsu spot as we don't have many established katsu places in the bay. Overall was an 8/10, mostly centered towards the food experience. The food was great, katsu dishes came cooked to order, I got the assorted and the curry katsu to try. I loved their curry, had a hint of spice as well but I felt paired nicely with the katsu dish. Loved the side dishes they had as well as the different sauces prepared for the meal. Service was ok, we came in a sat afternoon (note it was pretty hot at this time). As far as the seating and the line situation, I do think they can improve to not have ppl come in and crowd the middle area for the line for ordering togo/waitlist. The server was attentive in asking how the meal was and was around if anyone needed anything. This is also a quick place to eat as they try to hand out checks as soon as they see ppl stop eating. I wouldn't rec this one a place to stay extra longer to socialize as the line gets long and you can see ppl waiting to be seated. Seating was iffy, felt kind of stuffy as we were seated right at the direct sunlight as well. They ended up closing the blinds but there was a slither of sunlight and came in on our table and shined right at me which made the experience a little rough as i had to keep avoiding the sun in my face while I ate. Overall the food is ultimately the reason I would be coming back, but I may try to order for Togo next time and compare. read more

I was craving noodles today and decided to give Yumee Katsu a try! Although it seems like the amount of reviews they have are still on the lower end, the quality of their food in the pics caught my eye. I walked into the restaurant around 2:15pm and was surprised to see the restaurant was packed since it was way past "lunch time". But obviously a green flag! I was quickly seated at their only open table and was immediately assisted by a nice young man who provided quality customer service. He was super pleasant and helped me narrow down on an order which was their Donkatsu Spicy Chewy Noodle. After my order was placed, it took about 20-25 mins for my order to arrive at my table. My order came with a couple sides, katsu sauce, and soup along with a water & carafe which was absolutely necessary as someone that gets a runny nose when eating spicy. Now the food was great! I loved how cut of the Katsu was a thin cut which oddly made the thought of eating something fried feel somewhat luxurious. The fresh ingredients on top of the noodles were delicious toppers, again, making the thought of eating noodles feel healthy as well. Noodles weren't too spicy which is great for me as I like my spices to be a light kick versus a numbing experience. Ambiance was nice, quiet, and clean, it was actually one of the most peaceful lunches I've had in a while because of how calm everyone was in there from the customers to employees -- the whole experience felt very peaceful! The quality of the food & ingredients was quite impressive and honestly made me feel like I was in Japan because of how neat and well-portioned the meal was. I did end up eating about 60% of my food at the restaurant & took my left overs home which I actually just finished prior to writing up this review -- i am pleased to share that food tastes just as delish as left overs, especially if you have an airfryer to warm up the katsu without softening the breading. Yumee Katsu is a new and popular Korean spot specializing in katsu, or panko-crusted cutlets. The Assorted Katsu plate came with three different kinds of katsu including pork, shrimp, and cheese, along with rice, shredded cabbage, soup, and various condiments including daikon kimchi, yellow pickles, katsu sauce, and a creamy sauce. We also got a side of their Japanese-style curry roux, which went nicely with the rice and katsu. My favorite katsu was the cheese katsu, which had a chewy yet melty interior that contrasted nicely with the crispy exterior. For our next main dish, the Kimchi Nabe was a stew of kimchi and vegetables topped with a katsu cutlet, all served in a hot stone pot. Impressively, even though the katsu was drenched in sauce, the breading stayed intact and added a nice texture. Finally, my favorite dish (besides the katsu) was the Spicy Chewy Noodles, made of super chewy Korean noodles in a sweet and spicy sauce, topped with shredded cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, and seaweed, along with a hard-boiled egg. The texture of the noodles stood up nicely to the flavorful sauce, making for a delicious dish. Overall, the food here was simply amazing, and the service was quick and efficient at turning over tables (ordering is streamlined on a tablet at each table). Found out about this new Korean katsu restaurant in the east Dublin area so here we are! The inside has a nice and comfortable ambiance and lighting is good. Space is not big so wait time is unavoidable at busy lunch or dinner times. We enjoyed the food and the portion was also very generous. Ordered 3 different sets: a katsu with udon noodles, a curry katsu rice, and the king donkatsu set. I only was able to eat about half of king donkatsu cuz it was really big! The katsu has a nice crunch and it went well with the sauce on top and rice. Overall the food was presented well and was satisfying. We would visit again! read more

Update: Came here again at 7PM on Wed night to try Kimchi Nabe and spicy pork with Donkatsu. Nailed it again! Kimchi Nabe was slightly sweeter than I expected but still delish enough that I put my rice in the soup and ate it all. read more

Came here on a Friday night around 6:10. Waited about 50 minutes for a table. The system doesn't let you know where you are in line. You must go into the restaurant to see where you are in line. We were seated at a table located by the restroom and some supplies towards the rear of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is small with about 12 tables inside. You order from a tablet mounted on each table. Yumee Katsu 5/5: pork was juicy and tender on the inside while the katsu was crispy yet airy on the outside. Cabbage salad was finely shredded with a light dressing. Normally I don't eat that, but it was good. Soup was a pork broth I believe, which was good, but there was no description of what it was on the menu. Also came with white rice which it did not state on the menu. Curry Katsu 4/5: this was good, but the pork was thinner and sliced thinner than the Yumee Katsu. Was good, but prefer the Yumee Katsu instead because of the thicker and juicier pieces. Curry itself was ok, nothing special. This came with rice, soup and cabbage salad as well. Overall, the food was really good. The restaurant service and setup was a little on the rough side. Their menu should be a bit more descriptive of what it comes with, my beer bottle was brought over, but I had to open it myself, the cleaning supply cart is in plain sight by our table, and extra beer boxes is sitting in plain view by our table. I ell that maybe takeout would be good for this restaurant as the current ambiance is not desirable. I will order to go next time. 5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the service and restaurant itself. read more

This is the best Katsu I have tried in Dublin area. The curry is rich and flavorful, and Katsu is crispy and tender. The balance of rice and Katsu is perfect so you will not think it's too much. Will definitely come back again! Self order at the table with a tablet. Staffs are nice and friendly.The restaurant is clean and new. 2nd time here. Quality of the king katsu is really good. The sauce that comes with it really hits the spot as well. This time I got the katsu with ddukbokki and it definitely satisfied my craving. Portions are big and the salad is refreshing with a citrus taste to help with the spiciness of the food. Service is really friendly and responsive as well. Def recommend! read more
