Yumee Katsu absolutely delivered. Everything we ordered was solid, satisfying, and genuinely delicious. The standout for me was the katsu curry. The katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying tender inside, and the curry was rich, flavorful, and completely addictive. I kept going back for another bite even when I was already getting full. The udon noodle soup was comforting and well-balanced, while the cold soba noodles were refreshing and nicely textured. I also loved the chewy spicy cold noodles--they had a great bite and just the right amount of spice, making them surprisingly memorable. Portions here are incredibly generous. Even after eating until I was stuffed, my plate still looked full. Definitely great value for the amount of food you get. The meal also comes with kimchi and yellow radish sides, which were the perfect complement. Their freshness and acidity helped cut through the richness of the fried dishes and tied everything together nicely. Overall, a delicious meal with generous portions and plenty of variety. I'd happily come back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you're craving quality katsu and comforting noodle dishes.
So yummy! We love this place for family time. The food is always fresh and delicious. The katsu is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The portions are generous and worth the price. The side dishes and sauces are excellent as well. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Our family always enjoys dining here. Stumbled on this place when me and my fam were looking for a place to have a late lunch after shopping at the outlets. I love me a good curry katsu plate, and appreciated how they also offer noodles with their katsu, as my bf prefers that instead of rice. We were shocked to notice the spicy noodles come out cold (we absolutely love cold noodles) since not many places offer that. We were so impressed at how tasty literally everything we ordered was. The staff were also so nice and welcoming, and inside was pretty spacious with many filled tables. This will definitely be our new go-to spot to come by after a shopping day at the outlets!
SUCH GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE!! 3 orders feeds 4 people super well! Huge portions!! My favorite was the assorted katsu - the katsu meat was so tender and the breading was perfect. I also loved the cold noodle katsu - it said it's 3 chili level spiciness, but it didn't feel too spicy at all! The little plates were so good too - I loved the soup!! Will definitely be coming back for the curry katsu. Highly recommend this place!!
When we arrived on a Saturday night, we got seated right away. We're a party of 2. We ordered the Yumee Katsu and the Chicken Katsu Curry Rice which were both delicious. The katsu were very juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The restaurant was very quiet overall with diners chatting within their tables so this is a great restaurant if you're looking for something quiet. I would come back here again.
Absolutely delicious! I completely understand why the wait is so long, because my taste buds were having a blast! I came on a weekend and even at the odd hours of 2:30pm, we had to wait 45ish minutes. I loved that the katsu didn't taste like oil. The service was efficient. While the place is quite small, it is well maintained. Can't wait to come back!
Assorted Katsu Add On Mini Udon -- delicious combo of everything! Love the side dishes of radish, cabbage salad with a citrus sauce and a light soup. I liked the variety of katsu. Shrimp was very light, cheese katsu was nice despite it getting a little cold to not have a cheese pull, katsu was not overcooked and fresh and flakey. Curry Katsu Rice -- curry sauce was delicious and not thick. The same side dishes come with every dish. Overall quick service, delicious food, easy to order through the kiosk.
This is a Korean curry restaurant and the food was very good! Pork was fried to perfection! The place was clean and well organized. The server was very attentive and prompt . The water they served had a hint of fresh lemon, very good flavor to pair with the food. I def think it's not sink water, it's filtered water! Overall portion was substantial and flavor was 5/5! Will visit again!
Came here for a quick bite and tried the Curry Katsu Udon. It was solid and exactly what I was expecting: good comfort food, nothing too over-the-top. The pickle banchan and side salad were a nice touch and really refreshing between bites of the curry. One thing to note: you order directly from the tablet at the table, which I didn't realize at first, but it made the service super fast. The atmosphere was a nice surprise too, they were playing K-pop and the place has a much stronger Korean vibe than I initially thought. Definitely a cool spot!
Stopped by here on a rainy day with my friends! I ordered the spicy noodle chicken katsu, it was sweet, slightly savory, and was differently unique! I am more of a savory person, so this one threw me in for a loop! I like how the noodles were cold. It tasted great however I definitely was eyeing my friend's curry LOL. There were several customers eating already, our food came out around 10 minutes. Price is decent for the large amount you get. Yumee more like Yummy!
We were actually debating on whether or not we wanted to try Yumee this past Friday, but at the newly opened Castro Valley location. We ended up not going on Friday, but ended up trying Yumee at the Dublin location for dinner today. This location has been established at this location for a while now, and it's in a fairly popular plaza with plenty of parking available. We had a party of six (one toddler), and they don't have too many tables for parties larger than four, so we waited just a bit. Even at peak dinner time, it doesn't seem like wait is too bad since turnover is fairly quick. I originally wanted to try the Curry Udon with Fried Vegetables, but they ran out, so I ended up getting Chicken Katsu with Curry Udon. My partner got a Kimchi Nabe. The rest of my party members got a Curry Katsu Rice, another Kimchi Nabe, and a Cheese Katsu with a side of hot soba (mini) for the toddler. Even though the restaurant was full, food was prepared fairly quickly. I think we waited about 10-15 mins for the full order to be fulfilled. I liked that each of entrees came with sides. My Chicken Katsu came with a small side of soup, shredded cabbage, pickled daikon, and a bit of kimchi. I thought the addition of these sides were really nice to break up the flavor of the entree. My chicken katsu was delicious. It's sliced up in perfect sizes - not too thick or thin. The chicken is still tender, soft, still a bit juicy, and pretty sizable too. But I think what makes this one of the better katsu I've had is that the breading was perfect. The breading covered every outer surface area, and texture was just on point. It's neither too coarse or too fine of a breading. The udon noodles were nice and chewy. And the curry was not heavy, but also has a nice, deep flavor to it. As for the Kimchi Nabe, it was a tolerable amount of spice for me. I can't handle too much spice, but I can usually handle the spiciness from kimchi. The Kimchi Nabe came with a thick katsu. I think this would have been too heavy of a meal for me if I gone for this myself, but I'm just sampling from my partner's plate! The katsu was also pretty delicious, though you don't get as much of the crispy breading with the Nabe since it's all covered in sauce! I like that the Nabe came with not only kimchi, but some other mix of veggies too. I had a few slices of mushroom, and some onions as well. The kimchi also had a very nice deep flavor to it, so I'm wondering if they make this in-house. I can see how this pairs nicely with a bowl of rice. My table also ordered a bottle of beer to share and I love that they had chilled beer mugs ready to go. It made the beer taste extra refreshing. It's these little details like the little side dishes and chilled mugs that go a long way sometimes! A great katsu experience. Although this was my first time trying, I think Yumee has beat all the other katsu places I've tried around the Bay. I just hope that the Castro Valley location is just as good, not only quality wise, but also service as well. The staff here is tentative, friendly, and quick! I think this guy (maybe the owner or manager) even offered my niece a mini Melona ice cream bar at the end of her meal!
Excellent katsu spot- portions, flavors and customer service! We enjoyed the curry katsu, assorted katsu with a side of cold soba noodles, and the tonkatsu with chewy spicy noodles. All were delicious. My daughter's order was taking longer than the rest.. they had given it to another table in error. Not sure if he's the owner or manager, super apologetic and gave us an order of tteokbokki on the house. Hubby doesn't normally eat spicy but he tried it, enjoyed it, even if he had to drink the whole carafe of water. Great spot and we will definitely be back.
This strip mall is pretty busy with several other restaurants. I've been to a few restaurants in this mall. Every table was full when we arrived, we put in our name and waited about 5 minutes. A menu is on the side of the table that you can order from. We put in our orders and I thought the pork looked a little under cooked so I sent it back asking for it to be not pink. The manager came over and said it was fine but if you want it cooked longer he would send it back. I had the chicken katsu with curry. I liked my katsu curry and want to try the chewy noodles next visit.
If you like katsu, this is definitely a place to try. Dining here can get busy at peak hours and if it's your first time, you have to go close to register to put your name in to get a table. Staff aren't super friendly the first time I stepped in to figure out the process. Takeout here has been fantastic. They have takeout bowls that keep the katsu separate from the rice. Their katsu is so crispy and even their chicken is juicy. Entrees come with the coleslaw, kimchi radish, pickled radish and a soup. Compared to Demiya in West Dublin, I would choose to come here, hands down! Parking is ok outside of lunch hrs. During lunch hours between 12-1:30pm, it can be hard to find a spot. read more

I really enjoyed both the katsu curry udon and the cheese udon but what stood out to me the most was the curry sauce! I was truly addicted to it because it tasted different than the ones I had at other restaurants. Moreover, a side order of the cheese katsu was a perfect amount for us as we didn't want to have too much of a heavy meal. Service was quick and pretty convenient since you could just order off of a tablet. However, if you're going during a busy time, the restaurant is a bit cramped when full. While the food is really yummy and it was a convenient bite in the area, I would like to mention that the prices were a bit on the higher side than what I was expecting (although I understand that these prices are around the average of what is expected nowadays). read more

My friend and I arrived here when they opened at 11am and was seated right away. We ordered our food on the tablet and the food came out pretty quickly. My friend ordered the chicken katsu and I ordered the cheese katsu. Both were really good. They were crispy and flavorful. I didn't like the dressing on the cabbage at all. It tasted like soap to me. However, I was able to ask for a side of plain cabbage. I wish they had a sesame type of dressing for the cabbage instead. Service was pretty good. They did check in quite a few times. The restaurant itself is pretty small. Not sure if they get overly busy but by the time we left around 12, all the tables were occupied. I'd def come back if I'm craving Katsu. read more

Tried it on a rainy day. Really enjoyed it. I picked the special Topokki Katsu. The sauce is quite good. Spice level is about 1/5. The pork is perfectly cooked, it's tender, moist with crunchy coating. I took half a star for the rice cake being inconsistent. Some pieces are harder to chew than others. And another half star off for the price. The whole thing is $21. With taxes and tips the whole meal was $27. It comes with sliced cabbage salad, a small broth, and 2 radish banchan. The place was packed during lunch time so come early if you have a big group. read more
The just opened Yumee Katsu serves a Korean style Katsu. Located in the Fallon Rd. Shopping center in Dublin, it a small restaurant with about seating for 25. Service is both at the table or order at the counter. Our first try the wait was over 40 minutes. So we came back the next day. The Kathy is made to order. The curry is flavorful. Service is ok. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. They close between lunch and dinner. Same ownership as SSAM Korean BBQ in Pleasanton. read more

I really enjoyed this new addition to Dublin. I've never been to a chicken katsu restaurant before but it was very delicious. My friend and I ordered the assorted katsu and topokki to split. The topokki had a nice spice to it and came with crunchy toppings as well as green onions and half a cooked egg. My favorite katsu was between the shrimp and cheese one. I also got a side of udon which tasted good and was great on the cold day we were there. Including two sodas our Bull was about $50 which I found to be reasonable as we were very full after the meal. I liked that you could order from the touch screen at your table and service was fast. The restaurant is slightly small and fills up fast so you need to get there early. Second time here: love that there is so much variety. It takes some time for food to be made: my guess is they fry them each order. Very fresh and tasty. We came on a Saturday afternoon during the soft opening. We knew it would be busy and it was! We put our names down on the waitlist which was about 6 parties long. We went to Target and came back and we were second on the list. After waiting just a little bit longer, we were seated. We probably waited a total of 45 min for a table. We ordered quickly on the tablet at the table. The food took maybe 15 minutes to arrive. I got the shrimp curry rice and my hubby got the curry katsu rice. The curry had a bite to it but wasn't necessarily spicy. The flavor was a little mild for our liking. I like a really strong a powerful curry, but it was good. The shrimp wasn't as meaty as I would have liked but the fry on it was nice - crispy and done really well. My husband really liked his katsu and he doesn't usually eat pork. The service was fine. We didn't interact with servers much because everything was done on the tablet. Ambiance was a little loud. The interior of the restaurant did not feel super inviting but no matter because the food was good. read more

We came here really late on a Saturday night. This small restaurant was completely packed (like I expected) especially since we came in about 30 min before closing. We decided to get take out because of this. I got the katsu curry with a small udon while my bf got spicy pork katsu. They both came with miso along with kimchi and radish. Overall I want to give it a 3.5/5. Since it's my first time ordering from here, I'll give them a chance and round the stars up to 4. The food seemed to lack some salt and the curry seemed very little compared to the katsu. The spicy pork was alright, but nothing special about it. I'd be willing to try this place again, but I don't think I would go out of the way for it. Maybe I will eat inside next time and hopefully have a better experience. read more

Yumee Katsu in Dublin definitely impressed me. This is hands down the best Japanese curry I've tried so far in California. The flavor was rich, comforting, and honestly pretty close to the curry I had in Japan -- that same authentic depth and warmth that's hard to find here. The katsu was crispy and tender, and the portion sizes were solid. Service was quick and the staff were friendly, making the whole visit smooth and easy. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the place can get pretty busy and a little loud, but the food itself is top-tier. If you're craving real Japanese curry, Yumee Katsu is absolutely worth the stop. I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area. read more
My first time here as I came with a friend. This place used to be Ramen 101 which closed, but there are other locations around the area if you still want Ramen 101. The parking lot was packed when I came around noon today. My friend and I got lucky as we saw someone pulling out of a parking space and we parked there right away. We got the King Donkatsu dish which was delicious! Enough to share for two people. It took a bit of work to use the knife to cut the katsu. The katsu was krispy and fresh, my friend and I split this pork katsu. We both enjoyed it. It comes with small bowl of soup. rice, pickles, and radish. We also got the Ymee Soba (cold) dish which comes with a small dish of pickles and radish. All were pretty good. We split that dish as well. Overall, we enjoyed both dishes. My only recommendation is to have better knives to cut the katsu as it took awhile to cut it due to the knife. Other than that, not too bad. Every table has a kiosk to order, you order at your table. A water pitcher plus two cups are given to you as soon as you sit down at the table. I enjoyed the katsu more than the soba. I would come back to try another katsu dish. read more

This place was a solid katsu spot as we don't have many established katsu places in the bay. Overall was an 8/10, mostly centered towards the food experience. The food was great, katsu dishes came cooked to order, I got the assorted and the curry katsu to try. I loved their curry, had a hint of spice as well but I felt paired nicely with the katsu dish. Loved the side dishes they had as well as the different sauces prepared for the meal. Service was ok, we came in a sat afternoon (note it was pretty hot at this time). As far as the seating and the line situation, I do think they can improve to not have ppl come in and crowd the middle area for the line for ordering togo/waitlist. The server was attentive in asking how the meal was and was around if anyone needed anything. This is also a quick place to eat as they try to hand out checks as soon as they see ppl stop eating. I wouldn't rec this one a place to stay extra longer to socialize as the line gets long and you can see ppl waiting to be seated. Seating was iffy, felt kind of stuffy as we were seated right at the direct sunlight as well. They ended up closing the blinds but there was a slither of sunlight and came in on our table and shined right at me which made the experience a little rough as i had to keep avoiding the sun in my face while I ate. Overall the food is ultimately the reason I would be coming back, but I may try to order for Togo next time and compare. read more

Let me tell y'all about the time I pulled up to Yumee Katsu in Dublin last week thinking I was just getting a quick bite... and instead got spiritually transformed by a plate of Katsu Topokki. First of all, WHO told them to combine crispy, golden, perfectly fried katsu with spicy, saucy, chewy rice cakes?? Because whoever did deserves a raise, a promotion, and a hug. That dish?? ILLEGAL levels of good. The crunch on that katsu?? Immaculate. The sauce?? Sweet, spicy, sticky, and got me contemplating life choices. And them rice cakes?? Chewy in a way that makes you keep eating even when you're already full. (Not the best decision ) Speaking of full...WHY are the portions built like they're feeding a small village?? I swear my plate came out looking like it had a family of three depending on it. I tried to pace myself... I really did... but that food said "nah, you finishing me today." Listen, I've eaten a lot of food in a lot of places... but this right here? Someone's grandma was in the kitchen whipping it up! If you like crispy, spicy, saucy, over-the-top comfort food that makes you pause mid-bite and go "hold up..." GO. IMMEDIATELY. Yumee Katsu, you did your thing. Giving this a 4-star review. I was craving noodles today and decided to give Yumee Katsu a try! Although it seems like the amount of reviews they have are still on the lower end, the quality of their food in the pics caught my eye. I walked into the restaurant around 2:15pm and was surprised to see the restaurant was packed since it was way past "lunch time". But obviously a green flag! I was quickly seated at their only open table and was immediately assisted by a nice young man who provided quality customer service. He was super pleasant and helped me narrow down on an order which was their Donkatsu Spicy Chewy Noodle. After my order was placed, it took about 20-25 mins for my order to arrive at my table. My order came with a couple sides, katsu sauce, and soup along with a water & carafe which was absolutely necessary as someone that gets a runny nose when eating spicy. Now the food was great! I loved how cut of the Katsu was a thin cut which oddly made the thought of eating something fried feel somewhat luxurious. The fresh ingredients on top of the noodles were delicious toppers, again, making the thought of eating noodles feel healthy as well. Noodles weren't too spicy which is great for me as I like my spices to be a light kick versus a numbing experience. Ambiance was nice, quiet, and clean, it was actually one of the most peaceful lunches I've had in a while because of how calm everyone was in there from the customers to employees -- the whole experience felt very peaceful! The quality of the food & ingredients was quite impressive and honestly made me feel like I was in Japan because of how neat and well-portioned the meal was. I did end up eating about 60% of my food at the restaurant & took my left overs home which I actually just finished prior to writing up this review -- i am pleased to share that food tastes just as delish as left overs, especially if you have an airfryer to warm up the katsu without softening the breading. I would love to come back again to try their cheese katsu and even their curry katsu! Highly recommend visiting this restaurant to fulfill your katsu or noodle craving! read more

Small place that can get busy because Yumee has great katsu. Their katsu is done really well. I had the mixed katsu with pork, shrimp and cheese. The breading is crispy and the pork was still so juicy and tender. The cheese was delicious-mild and gooey in a good way. Loved the contrast in texture. Yumee Katsu is a new and popular Korean spot specializing in katsu, or panko-crusted cutlets. The Assorted Katsu plate came with three different kinds of katsu including pork, shrimp, and cheese, along with rice, shredded cabbage, soup, and various condiments including daikon kimchi, yellow pickles, katsu sauce, and a creamy sauce. We also got a side of their Japanese-style curry roux, which went nicely with the rice and katsu. My favorite katsu was the cheese katsu, which had a chewy yet melty interior that contrasted nicely with the crispy exterior. For our next main dish, the Kimchi Nabe was a stew of kimchi and vegetables topped with a katsu cutlet, all served in a hot stone pot. Impressively, even though the katsu was drenched in sauce, the breading stayed intact and added a nice texture. Finally, my favorite dish (besides the katsu) was the Spicy Chewy Noodles, made of super chewy Korean noodles in a sweet and spicy sauce, topped with shredded cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, and seaweed, along with a hard-boiled egg. The texture of the noodles stood up nicely to the flavorful sauce, making for a delicious dish. Overall, the food here was simply amazing, and the service was quick and efficient at turning over tables (ordering is streamlined on a tablet at each table). Casual katsu eatery, moderately noisy from background music and other tables. Quality food, plated nicely. Had the Katsu Curry Plate with a small side of udon (shared my meal with the kid). Order by screen at the table, then wait for food to be prepared. A little bit of a wait time as it was a full house even for a Thursday night! Found out about this new Korean katsu restaurant in the east Dublin area so here we are! The inside has a nice and comfortable ambiance and lighting is good. Space is not big so wait time is unavoidable at busy lunch or dinner times. We enjoyed the food and the portion was also very generous. Ordered 3 different sets: a katsu with udon noodles, a curry katsu rice, and the king donkatsu set. I only was able to eat about half of king donkatsu cuz it was really big! The katsu has a nice crunch and it went well with the sauce on top and rice. Overall the food was presented well and was satisfying. We would visit again! read more

Came here on a Friday night around 6:10. Waited about 50 minutes for a table. The system doesn't let you know where you are in line. You must go into the restaurant to see where you are in line. We were seated at a table located by the restroom and some supplies towards the rear of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is small with about 12 tables inside. You order from a tablet mounted on each table. Yumee Katsu 5/5: pork was juicy and tender on the inside while the katsu was crispy yet airy on the outside. Cabbage salad was finely shredded with a light dressing. Normally I don't eat that, but it was good. Soup was a pork broth I believe, which was good, but there was no description of what it was on the menu. Also came with white rice which it did not state on the menu. Curry Katsu 4/5: this was good, but the pork was thinner and sliced thinner than the Yumee Katsu. Was good, but prefer the Yumee Katsu instead because of the thicker and juicier pieces. Curry itself was ok, nothing special. This came with rice, soup and cabbage salad as well. Overall, the food was really good. The restaurant service and setup was a little on the rough side. Their menu should be a bit more descriptive of what it comes with, my beer bottle was brought over, but I had to open it myself, the cleaning supply cart is in plain sight by our table, and extra beer boxes is sitting in plain view by our table. I ell that maybe takeout would be good for this restaurant as the current ambiance is not desirable. I will order to go next time. 5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the service and restaurant itself. read more

This is the best Katsu I have tried in Dublin area. The curry is rich and flavorful, and Katsu is crispy and tender. The balance of rice and Katsu is perfect so you will not think it's too much. Will definitely come back again! Self order at the table with a tablet. Staffs are nice and friendly.The restaurant is clean and new. I was expecting a lot from this place based on yelp pics . The portions looked gigantic and plentiful . Please check the hours they are out to lunch . I order to go the king donkatsu and the chicken katsu curry .It would probably taste better when warm and eaten at the restaurant . The king donkatsu was large but the sauce didn't do it justice . It was large but pounded thinly . The chicken curry katsu was tender and juicy and the curry was tasty but again would taste better when warm and eaten there . Was in town doing a little bit of shopping and decided to have lunch here. We ordered the Topokki Katsu and Yumee Katsu with a side of udon. Food was delicious. So rich in flavor and oozing with umami. The pork was cooked to perfection and was so juicy. Service was professional, friendly, speedy, and polite. Got here right at opening and was the first ones here. By 11:28, entire place was packed with a line starting to form outside. Place is small and cannot hold big parties easily. You order on the table kiosk and they bring the food out fairly quick. Service was great. Large portions. Katsu was tender and juicy. Spicy noodles are cold noodles. Prices are reasonable. This place was brand new and I wanted to try it because of the great reviews from word of mouth. Their pictures also made the food look so good! Although upon arriving there was already a line out the door. And the process of the waitlist was very confusing and unorganized. People were in line at the register which was also where the sign up sheet was and the kiosk to order your food so you didn't know where to go unless told. We waited about 1 hr for 2 ppl. There were small amount of tables and chairs so dining in can be challenging if you have a big group. When we were called for our turn we were then told we had to wait again because they had to use our table. But another employee said to order our food on the kiosk and have a seat so it was confusing. The employees looked overwhelmed and were trying to keep up with the rush but it was all unorganized. It took a while for us to get served utensils and water. But when the food came it all looked delicious. Except the curry was cold as if it was sitting out for a while before they placed the katsu and rice. The food was decent and portion size was big since it came with lots of small sides. But not worth the hype in my opinion. read more

Wow my friend and I got here early and the place was already packed! I feel like it's hard to go wrong with any of their menu items - they're all so good! The katsu is not oily - very crisp on the outside and juicy/flavorful meat on the inside. I was very impressed! It's probably the best katsu restaurant I've been to so far in the area. Tables were clean and I got to enjoy the kpop music playing as I enjoyed the meal. I can foresee them expanding if the quality of their food and service remain this way! Definitely will be back and will be bringing my family and friends here! read more

Korean Katsu! Came in end of September (still part of soft opening), during weekday lunch around 11:35AM. Seated right away, simple menu with katsu combo that comes with salad, soup, apps, and a carb (rice, noodles, etc). Order on tablet on the table or employee will take your order. The layout works for the limited space in the restaurant. Edamame for an appetizer. Order a Yumee Katsu ($17.99) and Topokki Katsu ($20.99). The meat needs to have more seasoning (salt), the katsu sauce helped, but needs more salt in the meat. The tteobboki noodles had a great chew, the sauce had good spice. Cabbage salad and soup is simple, yet delicious. The spicy radish Bonchon was not great, but it comes with the meal. Overall, a wonderful place to get katsu in the area. read more

Ordered takeout Curry Katsu Rice ($20.99) via their website. I was quoted 35 min until ready for pickup. I think it was ready some time before that since it was a weeknight and not really busy. Ate my meal about 30 min later and it was still warm and packaged well. Everything tasted good. It came with some soup, kimchi, and pickled daikon. Interesting fusion that I haven't mixed before. I did find myself wanting some fukujinzuke too. I particularly liked how thin the katsu was cut. I could have used more curry and rice, and I wish we could choose a spice level for the curry (I requested it on my online order, but nothing was spicy and no spices or chili were provided). Came to visit after seeing good reviews and we were in the area. We were seated right away, even though it was a weekend. You order on the tablet at your table and food came out fairly quick. Only change was that we wished the Assorted katsu plate had smaller cuts of pork like the Katsu curry udon we ordered because it was easier to eat. Otherwise, breading was thin and crispy, sauces were good, and the udon was nice and chewy. Overall, would definitely recommend and we'd come back to this place! read more
