    Kalbi Japchae

Was hankering for a snack so DoorDashed a Coke, Kalbi Tteokbokki, and Kalbi Japchae. Rice cakes were perfect texture and flavor. Could be a little spicier. Japchae is also good, but they use a wide glass noodle over the traditional noodle. I prefer the traditional noodle, but still good portion and flavor.

B2: premium kalbijim ($85) with mozzarella cheese (+$6), medium spicy

The most expensive food court meal I've ever had! Daehos around the Bay Area are usually sit down restaurants, but the Dublin location is in the H Mart food court. Fast casual here. You get a beeper and then trade it in for your order when it's ready. They also have a rack on the side for you to bus your table. We got there around 11am on a Friday and were second in line. By the time we got our food, not only was Daeho crowded but the entire food court was hoppin! The two of us got the #2 kalbijim. Served bubbling and filled with tender chunks of short rib, carrots, rice cakes and parsnips. We got medium spicy and thought the spice level was more on the mild side. The addition of mozzarella on top is a must and the cheese pull was legit. Everyone passing by our table was oogling our food! Included is also a small banchan and your choice of white or purple rice. Our meal was $91 before tax and tip. As hard as we tried, the two of us barely made a dent in it. I think it could have easily fed three, if not four people. Indoor and outdoor seating (with sunbrellas)!

Daeho Kalbijim & Beef Soup opened recently in H Mart's food hall. Never been to any of their locations. Didn't see their menu online. Relied on a foodie online recommendation to try their Nagoya-style Aburasoba. This location doesn't have it. Seldom read their online reviews-too generic. Associate courteously greeted me. I Browsed overhead menu for a minute. Ordered on tablet. Food ready in 7 minutes. Was prompted on tablet for a tip. Gave one. Had to pick up food when buzzer buzzed & bus own table. Post lunch inside seating was packed. Food hall kinda noisy. Could hear k-pop music distinctly. Offerings (Korean): kabiljim, bimbibap, Kalbi tang, suyuk, noodles, appetizers, seolleongtang, noodles Bites: Kalbi Tteokbokki (14) rice cake -lst time eating it in an eatery. Had versions brought in Korean markets that needs to be boiled. Eatery version is fresher tasty. -came in small tootsie roll shapes. Had Northern China/Taiwanese ones that are oval shaped. -Kalbi bites tender & tasty, mixed with Tteokbokki in a spicy sauce that left a few stains on my shirt. - some cheese provided another Unami level. Cheese pull was fun. 4ish stars. Counter service great. Quantiy/Quality very good. Would repeat during "off hours" May is Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Daeho Kalbijim & Beef Soup opened at food stall location in the food of the new H Mart in Dublin. After checking out the newly opened H Mart we had lunch at Daeho Kalbijim. The menu and food is similar to the restaurants. Even the prices are the same the signature Kalbijim will set you back $80+. The food sets are good with the exception of the banchans which are tiny and sparse. The ordering process goes by ordering at the counter then given a pager to pickup the food when paged. All of items such as soups, bibimbop, and Kalbijim are served on their piping hot stone ware. They do not bring it to your table, and you need to bus your dirty tarts afterwards. From a restaurant consultant this is very problematic that the restaurant didn't really think through throughly. Picking up a heavy super heated stone pan and weaving through a crowed food court to find your table will ultimately involve an accident. With the limited amount of Service you need to consider the tip went asked at the counter.

I came on a Saturday afternoon around early dinner time and was surprised the food court wasn't too busy! I've been a fan of Daeho and used to have to wait to be seated (in San Mateo, South Bay, and SF). There were no long lines at the restaurants in the food court surprisingly, although there were a lot of people sitting and eating! The restaurants make the food pretty quickly as well - I think we only had to wait a couple minutes for our Galbijim to come out with two bowls of rice and some bon chon. The Galbijim is just like the restaurants - super flavorful and filling! The food court is clean and has a good amount of space to sit and eat! It's also nice that you can get dessert or a yummy drink in the same area!!

F2 spicy squid hot stone 05/2026

Inside the H-Mart in Dublin I don't always see or look for Korean food with hot stone bowls so when I see it I need to try it. Got the F2 I believe which is the spicy squid hot stone. Rice was nice and crispy as it should be. Squid was good and had enough pieces, nice spice as well. Banchan was good Kim chee, daikon cube and the jalapeño pickled onion was my favorite

The portions at the Daeho food stall are very generous. I ordered the F1. Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbab, which came with assorted vegetables, rice, kimchi, kkadugi, and some jalapenos and onions. I'm a slow eater so it was nice that it was served in a hot claypot that kept it warm. I was pleasantly surprised by how well-proportioned the meat, vegetables and rice were. It made for a very satisfying meal!

We decided to try this spot out at the opening of the new H-mart in Dublin, and we were not disappointed! The Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimab is so tender and delicious, the rice is cooked perfectly, and the kimchi and hot sauce elevates the dish even farther. Definitely worth a stop, and will continue to dine here when I'm in the area!

I was so excited that they had Daeho at the food hall. While they do not have all the menu items available at their regular restaurants, their noodle soup was soo good and perfect for sharing. Broth was flavorful and full of yummy clams and a few beef ribs. The noodles were perfect and not too thick. You order and pay and are given a pager for pickup. The food comes with a small plate of banchan.

So excited there's a Daeho in the Tri-Valley! No line to get in on a Wednesday evening but it was decently crowded 2 weeks after grand opening. Shared a large kalbijim amongst 5 along with some other dishes from the food court and sat outside on the patio. Food was ready in maybe 15-20 minutes, got purple rice as the side and it came with some picked veg. They torched it when you go to pick it up. It was the star of our dinner, just as good as other locations with melty ribs and veg and cheese and tteokbokki and perfectly balanced by the pickled veg and rice. Will definitely be back :) They gave us extra spoons and bowls and even extra pickled veg for our big group. Bus your own dishes back to the stand.

After years of awaiting construction, the newest and first H-Mart in the East Bay finally arrived. It's been about a month since its opening so I expected a crowded store. I was right, however I did come mid-day and it wasn't as bad as the grand opening with lines out the door. After some browsing and grocery shopping, I got hungry so we looked around the food hall. I was craving some meat but nothing too filling or soupy. It was a warmer spring day. I came across Daeho which I've never tried but I do see they have other locations. All of the market hall food spots are cafeteria style. I tried the Bibimbap and I was extremely impressed with the quality of food and presentation. I loved the toppings, banchan, and the beef was cooked perfectly. Careful it's hot!!! This was amazing and I hope you all order this soon. 10/10 and reasonably priced. It came out to $27 including tax and were great portion sizes. I recommend splitting this for 2... It was personally too much food for me. Totally worth it. There's indoor and outdoor seating on the patio. Keep in mind, when ordering the hot stone pot it's quite heavy and placed on a cafeteria style tray.

kalbi tang and spicy kalbi tang...
    Kartika H.

it is located beside h-mart supermarket, in the food hall. well, daeho is always serving great foods. been to four different locations and all are excellent!!! the kalbi tang is recommended but not sure for the spicy one. will visit again for sure and thank you that finally i do not need to drive far away just to eat at daeho...

We ordered noodle soup, but it arrived with no noodles at all -- extremely disappointing.

I've been meaning to write this review since July 2021--at least, that's how old my first set of…read morephotos is from when I intended to post a review. But years later, Tasty Pot at Ulferts Center is still one of our reliable go-to spots in Dublin. My wife usually orders the Beef Hot Soup, while I go for the Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Soup - both with a side of rice and either black or green tea during lunchtime. Both pots are consistently delicious, satisfying, and served steaming hot - the kind of hot that clears your sinuses and makes your nose run. For reference, we order them at the "medium" spice level, so either we're weak sauce or they really are that hot and spicy. I especially like that Tasty Pot's meals are complete individual servings. You get the full hot-pot experience without having to fetch ingredients, wait for a communal pot to cook, or coordinate a family-style meal. It's easy, convenient, and perfect when everyone just wants to dig into their own bowl. Service has always been fast, and the food comes out piping hot and ready to enjoy. The wait staff also checks in to see whether you are running low on soup and need a top-off. They also have a rewards program that earns you points toward a free hot pot; it has changed over the last couple of years from a "buy seven, get one free" setup to a points-based system - either way, it's a nice bonus. If you're craving comforting Taiwanese-style hot pot in the Dublin, Pleasanton, or Livermore area, this is an easy five-star choice.

My sister recommended Tasty Pot because she said it was well known for its soup and good service,…read moreso we decided to give this location a try. Unfortunately, our experience at the Dublin location was extremely disappointing. We visited on August 8, 2026, at around 8:45 PM. We are a family of 9 and were just passing through the area on our way to our hotel. Since the restaurant's website states that the closing time is 9:30 PM, we thought we had enough time to have dinner, especially since this was our first time visiting. As soon as we arrived, however, we were told by the server that 8:45 PM was the last call for orders. We immediately tried to order as quickly as possible using the online ordering system because we did not want to inconvenience the staff. After placing our order, we were then told that green tea and other teas were unavailable, so all of our drink orders were canceled except for water. We understood that items can sometimes run out, so we let that go. The biggest problem was the service and atmosphere after we received our food. It was very difficult to get the attention of the staff because everyone seemed to be rushing around cleaning. We genuinely felt like we were a burden simply because we were still eating. What was especially inappropriate was that while customers were still dining, the staff began putting chairs up on the tables. I even took a picture because I believe management should be aware of what was happening. If the restaurant is still open and customers are still eating, this is not the kind of atmosphere customers should be subjected to. Even worse, it appeared that the AC was turned off while we were still eating, even though it was not yet closing time. With hot pot already being a very warm meal, we were literally sweating while trying to eat. After a long day of traveling, the last thing we wanted was to feel rushed and uncomfortable during dinner. We tried not to make a big issue out of it because we were tired and simply wanted to finish our meal and get to our hotel. But honestly, this type of service is unacceptable. I don't know if this is how every Tasty Pot location operates, but if this is specific to this branch, management really needs to address it and properly train the staff on how to treat customers who are still dining during business hours. Unfortunately, this was our first experience with Tasty Pot, and it will most likely be our last. We were hoping to enjoy the food and understand why my sister recommended it, but the poor service and uncomfortable atmosphere completely ruined the experience. With hot pot, the food is already hot enough. There's no need for the customers to leave with a boiling-hot temper because of the service. Very disappointing, and definitely not a place I would recommend based on this experience.

I hadn't been back in years until yesterday, when my usual spot was closed and my mother and I stopped by out of convenience. Unfortunately, the experience reminded me why I hadn't returned. The customer service was lacking -- we were never checked on during our meal and I had to repeatedly look for an employee to request a refill of a banchan and later, flag someone down when I was ready to pay. To make matters worse, I was surprised to find that the kimchi fried rice did not include any protein. Charging $20 for kimchi fried rice without any meat or protein is cruel and poor value for the price... I cannot stomach paying high prices for mediocre food and inattentive service. I will not make the same mistake of coming back again.
