Nice size space, high bar and table seating. There are some real surprises inside, a bar, pool tables and wow oh wow.... hookah. Stopped in for breakfast, it may look simple but packed a major punch, everything was delicious. Pancakes with the crispy edges, will always be a win for me. Our server was very nice and high spirited for early in the morning and I loved it! I look forward to going back and trying some other things on the menu.

I was passing by Atlanta and visit a friend that wants to go for lunch. I look for near restaurants and choose Yummies, i have to say that it didn't dissapoint!! The place is very simple in terms of decoration but if you are looking for good food ,this is the place for you. Everybody was super nice and the food was super tasty and perfect! The chicken was fully cooked and crunchy, just the way it should be. We where.all very happy for our decision to try a new place.

Crispy non fatty bacon...check Eggs cooked as requested...check Toast not too hard and buttery...check Grits creamy and not bland...check Too full to try the pancake but it past the visual test! I went from breakfast but they know have a full bar and hookah so I'll have to go back a little later in the day! Definitely give it 2 thumbs up!

Food and service was amazing! This is not the first time we have been here. The service is always good and the owner is always so friendly and welcoming! The place is always very clean. The food is made to order so it's always fresh and hot!

If you visiting Atlanta and need a breakfast spot that reminds you of your Grandma's cooking, then Yummies Cafe is the spot for you! The restaurant is about 15mins from the airport, which came in handy because My cousin was waiting on her flight to leave so we decided to kill some time eating breakfast there. I ordered the Jaz Breakfast while she got the fish and grits. Literally everything tasted like it was fresh out of my granny kitchen. Whether you're coming into Atlanta or killing some time before you head out, I'll suggest stopping by yummies for a bite Oh also! They do breakfast all day (major plus) and they have a huge dining area, so if you are still a bit hesitate about dining in, they have plenty of space for you and your party to social distance.

The food here is amazing! If I could give this restaurant 4.5 stars, I definitely would. The only thing keeping this restaurant from receiving 5 stars is the salmon croquette being a little on the dry side. I ordered the fish and grits meal, the Jaz's special with bacon, a side of sausage patties, and a side of beef sausage links. Everything was flavorful and seasoned very well, with the exception of the eggs being unseasoned to provide customers an option to season them to their liking. Let's start with Jaz's special. The eggs are cooked fresh from shelled eggs, which is a huge plus since some restaurants use powered or liquid eggs. The hash browns were cooked nicely with onions and bell peppers; the bacon was thick cut with a nice crisp and a great chew; the pancakes were thick, golden brown, and hearty; and the salmon croquette was enjoyable, although it was slightly on the dry side. The fish and grits platter was just as enjoyable! The fish was tilapia and the breading was crispy and golden brown on the outside with soft, tender, and flaky flesh on the inside. Now I got to tell you all about the grits...oh those grits! I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that there was a sauce on top of the grits. The sauce had onions and bell peppers in it and had a nice kick. The texture was creamy and definitely not made with instant grits. This was my first time ever experiencing grits paired with a sauce and I look forward to looking up recipes to make it at home. The toast was already buttered nicely and had a light brown toasting on the outside and a soft, fluffy inside. The sausage patties and smoked sausages were nicely cooked and flavorful as well. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of my breakfast. The employees were very friendly and professional, the inside of the restaurant was very clean and modernized, and I look forward to trying items on their lunch menu as well. I definitely plan on returning to Yummies Cafe for years to come.

Deedee's Shrimp and Grits with a salmon croquette added bc I like to be extra! The cheese grits are great plain or with fish or shrimp.

This is our 3rd day in a row ordering from here! We are hooked on the fish/shrimp and grits! The food is not over seasoned. Portion sizes are definitely sharable and perfect for "save for later". Great customer service from back to front end! The staff is pleasant and efficient with getting group orders together.

Saturday morning ride through Riverdale and my honey decides he would find us a breakfast spot. He find Yummies cafe at the top of his search. A very warm and friendly staff. Clean and spacious cafe. Complimentary coffee!‍‍We ordered the yummies special. Chicken sausage hash browns and blueberry pancakes for me and creamy cheese grits scrambled egg with cheese bacon and sausage links as well pancakes for him. My boo by ghost town djs playing in the background while drinking the Yummies punch brought back memories of my days of growing up in the hood and momma cooking breakfast on a Saturday morning. Jessica was the friendliest server I have had in a while. My Honey says we must come back. Thanks Yummies!!

The cute and engaging decor, very bright and colorful. I found a new favorite donut with their gluten-free red velvet. Moist and delicious Their signature dish of the egg on top of the hash browns was yum. Yum. The chunks of potatoes are crispy and the eggs were cooked just right. There was enough hash browns there that I saved some and cooked more eggs the next day at home Although my husband didn't like his scrambled eggs because he says they were as flat and not fluffy. And they were not very busy when we arrived and had additional staff come in as their peak hour approached around 9:00. The gal that was doing it all had to stop and make coffee and I think she rushed it a little bit because it wasn't hot and it was bitter... She gladly warmed it up for me and when she topped it off it wasn't as bitter

It had peppers, onions, jalapeños & some crack sauce. All the flavors, spices & crack sauce just mixed all well together. The crack sauce is mato based. Customer service was good as the cashier answered most of my questions. I would definitely visit HERO again 4

There seems to be plenty of parking on the street as well as the lot behind the building. It was around noon when I arrived and they were serving their brunch menu. I had the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit that came with eggs and a side of grits. The biscuit was large, soft, and toasted and the fried chicken on top crisp and seasoned well. It was sweet from the honey. The eggs (I had them scrambled) were fine, but nothing remarkable. The grits were quite spicy for my taste, but I'm a wimp from the Midwest so they were probably great. I enjoyed everything. I would have liked an unsweetened iced tea, but only sweet tea was available. I had a fountain soft drink instead of. The restaurant was light and airy. The furniture was a bit worn and the dishes were plain white plastic but on the whole it was a lovely place. My server was pleasant and attentive.

There is also street parking. Wait to be seated. Best to have a reservation during peak hours. Weekend brunch and evenings I imagine to be busy. QR code menu. NOTE if you go during brunch and you get a cocktail from the menu you won't see the prices for brunch. That is part of the reason for the low rating. Even though the drink menu says the days and hours for those prices, you have to ask for the after those hours. The menu has your typical southern brunch flare with a twist. The drink menu is good. I ordered the impossible burger slider, it doesn't come with anything. Just two sliders. I ordered the potatoes. Even though the sliders were decent. It was a little salty. Presentation was good. Watermelon savage. I also tried the scrambled eggs - way too salty. It was inedible. My brunch partner didn't like the grits or chicken biscuit that it came with. Service was fine. Decor and atmosphere was nice. Overall, it was decent. It seems like a nice place to grab drinks and catch a vibe or be the vibe. Gratuity is included. Overall, decent spot. Oh and there is outdoor seating that includes a stage.

Let me be very clear: the drive was 100% worth it. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience felt elevated. The seating, the staff, the food, the live pianist, the atmosphere, even the other guests -- everything worked together to create one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. And the food... I absolutely gorged myself on that buffet, with zero regrets. From the main selections to the dessert station -- which featured authentic bananas foster -- every single bite was incredible. The quality, the presentation, the flavor -- all of it was just out of this world. Honestly, part of me doesn't even want to write this review because I want to make sure I get a seat again next Christmas. But it would be a crime not to share how special this place is. I can't speak on anything outside of their dinner service, but if you go just for that, I promise you -- you will not, you cannot, leave disappointed. I would put money on that.

But the service was so awful it was hard to enjoy ourselves. It that it seemed like none of the staff had ever worked in a restaurant before. I watched at least 8 occasions where the wait staff couldn't figure out where drinks or food were to be delivered. There were only 8 tables seated on our side. We waited too long for our drinks. But the drinks were great and looked beautiful. If water was refilled, only half table received refills. We couldn't get anyone's attention for refills, etc. despite two individuals standing near our table for most of the meal. They didn't help our waiter and demanded to remove items from the table. They put their hands fully in our drinks while removing them. They would dump my silverware on the table off a plate. They didn't offer new silverware. They then decided to move furniture for a group sitting about three feet away. While one of our party was in the restroom, her chair was abruptly yanked from the table and another table was pushed past us while we were eating. Eventually another chair was given to us but it really startled me and disrupted our meal. Our appetizers and entrees were all fantastic. I would love for this restaurant to do well at Trilith but they must get an experienced wait staff. It was hard to enjoy the meal.

True to hubs nature, his eyes are bigger than his stomach and he over orders wanting to try numerous entrees. My Southern Baby Wedge featured a quartered baby iceberg head that was super crisp and crunchy. It was beautifully garnished with blue cheese crumbles, tri colored cherry tomatoes, crisp bacon and pickled onions. The creamy dressing was a wonderful accompaniment. The several bites hubs shared of his Smash Burger were DELISH and the fresh thinly sliced onions and lettuce provided a nice crunch. Drippy, beefy, cheesy goodness! Hubs add on of Blueberry Pancakes were equally as fantastic as the other items we ordered. I loved the unique combo of flavors-blueberries, maple, lemon zest, vanilla bean - so yummy!
