NOT all Yummy bakery locations are created equal! Lemme tell ya..if you are looking for mouth-watering bánh mì sandwiches, fluffy & flavorful steamed bánh baos, and sweet desserts..then THIS location is the place to hit up! IYKYK!!! Yummy Bakery & Food To Go was recommended to me by my nail lady and ever since she gifted me with some legit yummy bánh mì sandwiches and bánh baos from here, I've been hooked. Even my kiddies and hubs love this place and they are a tough crowd to impress. Yummy Bakery & Food To Go is located in the busy Little Saigon Village plaza ~ across the street from the TK and Bolsa Mini Mall plazas, closest to Bolsa Ave & Bushard St. Parking can be cray sometimes, so I typically try to find large spot facing Bolsa Ave..away from the horrible drivers of Vietville. Lol Heads up..this location ALWAYS has a line out the door. I've heard on multiple occasions & from different people that the quality here reigns supreme & is most consistent compared to their other locations. The turn-around time from ordering & paying and actually getting your food is a hot minute, so be patient..even tho there isn't much room to wait around in the cramp small store. I typically order the popular Bánh Mì Yummy (aka special/dặc biệt) ~ $5.95 and the combination bao buns ~ $15/box. The bánh mì sandwiches consist of a crispy, buttery loaf of bread (often tasting like they were just freshly baked out of the oven), smeared w/ pate, Vietnamese mayo, a variety of Viet hams/meats, & pickled veggies. It's super flavorful and married together perfectly. The cute bánh baos make for a quick good & light breakfast or afternoon snack. The bun isn't too doughy. The pork is marinated perfectly and I love the light crunch & texture of the wood-ear mushrooms, onions, Vietnamese/Chinese sausage (aka lap xuong) and yummy quail egg. A total RxFoodie recommend for your bánh mì & bánh baos cravings!!!

Ordered 4 sandwiches and only got 3. Terrible service and ripoff. Will never come back to this shady location again. Note: They forced us to pay CASH and when i called they said the location is "too new", these people are shameless shady scammers. I do NOT recommend this place I will also post on Yummy Banh Bao since its the same shady business.

The name of the place is Yummy, and there's no reason to doubt why. This place has some of the best Banh mi, tofu pudding, bao, and snacks and drinks. It's unfortunate that they are so far. If you go, make sure to beat the line because they run out of certain items due to high demand. Stop by if you can!

Horrible and disgusted and distasteful by Yummy Bakery stealing customer information and charging their customer card without their authorization, THIS IS FRAUD, refusing to refund or take action. I have report to FTC and will file to police station other companies, this is an inside job

Trying to get some bao since in the area but they ran out of it. It's the original place before they adding stores within OC. Small area and abit messing but it's work well from Asian, the messing it is, the foods must be yummy. Just like iii stores of theirs, prices are decent and affordable. Qualify is good and big portion. This place, customer service is just so is...not quite friendly and nice like the others. Parking can be rough since the parking lot is share with the whole complex plaza center.

Cannot speak on the service or ambiance since my coworker bought it for work. Food: Baguette tasted freshly made, crispy without cutting up the roof of my mouth but soft and malleable fit for sandwiches. I do wish there was more filling as you can see in the picture that I squished it down and it did not amount to as much filling as desired. I liked that it did not ooze out with mayo and the flavors are balanced. Overall, solid bahn mi, but with room for improvement.

I sometimes pop by this store when I buy giờ lựa nextdoor at Tam Bien. Today I decided that I was in the mood for a bánh mi heo quay or a banh mi with crispy pork belly. It arrived nicely warm with a slight crunch on the baguette. On my first bite I was hit with sriracha aioli immediately then some pork belly that was nicely seasoned, fresh cucumber batons, pickled julienned carrots and a sprig of cilantro. The overall banh mi had a good balance of flavors and I appreciated the extra dash of Maggi to give it some umami. However my banh mi today was a little light on the pork belly, particularly the pieces with the crunchy skin which would have been the highlight of this sandwich I specifically chose- so I was a little disappointed. But overall it was a nice, warm morsel to scarf down as I drove around doing my errands in Little Saigon!

Wow!! Found long waiting line to buy their famous steamed buns and Sandwiches. I always craved the real french baguette for over 20 years. One vietnamese bakery in GG was not consistent to keep baguette so crunchy outside and so chewy inside. I almost gave up to find the baguette for a while. Guess what??? I found it after I attended the Yelp elite event, Pho. It was just across from that plaza. I got there to Yummy bakery at 12:20 and lots of people were waiting for the steamed buns. I had a conversation w one of customers from San Diego. She came here to buy the steamed buns #1, combination w egg, pork, and sausage from San Diego. I like the Bao, steamed buns like Taiwanese chinese style but never tried the vietnamese style buns. Another big Surprise, I found the real french baguette. I saw the baguettes were sitting on the racks inside. Just baked fresh this morning. The price is $3 for 2 baguettes. Unbelievable!!! And the #1 combination bao is $2.50 but one box (9 buns) is only $15. Great deal for everyone. Happy day for us to find the real crunchy baguettes and steamed buns. My husband and I got home back and cut the baguette, cut the bao in half, tried them. OMG!!!! This is it!!!! We found all authentic stuffs. Pros Price, quality: 5 stars Cons Parking: little tough, very busy mall Credit card 3% fee charge: most of customers pay in cash. 3% credit card charge. Waiting time: at least 20 to 30 mins Only To Go: no seats. We are so happy to discover this bakery thanks to the Yelp event. I can't wait to taste more different bao buns, custard cream, bbq pork, and sandwiches. Great price less than $6 for the sandwiches. Amazing!!!

What a lucky day to find this bakery after my wife attended the Yelp event today! I always look for the French baguette. I knew one bakery in GG but the quality was changed years ago, I didn't go back there. Finally my wife and I found the bakery on Bolsa, Westerminster. Lots of waiting line during lunch time after 12:20. We waited for about 25 mins then we got 2 baguettes, one steamed bun box w 9 combination flavor bao buns. We both got shocked about the price of a baguette, still $1.50. Bao bun w combination #1, egg pork sausage is $2.50 but one box w 9 buns, only $15. For cons, the waiting time over 20 mins at least. They open at 6 and close at 6 everyday. Another con, charged xtra 3% for the credit card. This is only To go store. Order at store and grap, and go. Once we got home back, we cut the baguette right away, cut the bao in half, tried both. We both said, this is real, yummy. Thank God! We can buy the real french baguette for $1.50. Happy day for us. For Bao, steamed bun, tried for the 1st time for us. Sooooo good. I heat up for 15 secs in microwave, and eat the buns. Flavorful!!! Great place to grap and go for the bahnmi sandwiches less than $6. I didn't try it yet but next time I will order ham and egg bahnmi. It was worthy to wait for over 20 mins.

Banh Mi Yimmy. Bread a little too thick for me and toppings not as plentiful
    Leeza D.

I know this is a chain, but interesting they are not consistent. I like the Westminster and Goldenwest location for banh mi as it is light and crispy and filled nicely with meets and veg. At this location, the bread is a bit more dense and it doesn't look as packed. The dessert Che Yummy has different toppings but overall kinda consistent. Parking can get difficult in this center. There is no seating as it's purely take out. Service is typical of a hardcore Viet place that doesn't really care if you come back or not. Please come and visit and create your own experience.

Receipts . Only take cash or charge 3% Should report to IRS

The lady is really rude to me And she is very unprofessional Not welling to help . I don't think they pay enough tax because they only accept cash or charge you 3% if you pay credit card And ice should come here check on them if the worker is legally stay in United States

Got the heo quay (crispy skin roast pork) here, which is sold by the pound. It had a good ratio of meat and fat with a very nice crispy skin. Would order from here again

Noticed a long line after my lunch. Decided to join the line and see what's on the menu. We bought a few Banh mi, snacks and pastries for the trip down to San Diego. We ordered house special banh mi, grilled beef with special sauce banh mi, crispy roast pork, sweet taro and coconut durian bao, combination bao bun. Total was $62 for seven banh mi and snacks. Their bread is fresh, you can order from them if you only wanted their bread. The house special had the all the meat and fixings, it was actually a decent size. The rest of the banh mi was skimpy, barely any meat or veggies in them. The flavor was just okay. The pastries had very light flavoring, not overly sweet but the baos are pretty thick. You will need to drink water after eating them lol. They take cards or cash. Overall I would not be returning again.

Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. Friendly service, accommodating and responsive to our needs. We requested no kiwi due to one allergy to it and they make it within 10 minutes.
