My brain had not even processed that my husband ordered sushi and that sushi should always be kept cold, so I really appreciated them being upfront about it! I do not want to know how that would have gone later if my husband did eat the first order... I also appreciated the comfy chairs available while waiting for my order, as we had been driving for 8 hours that day and I was very sore and tired. The restaurant wasn't too loud and looked clean and well-kept from what I could see by the front door. Plenty of parking outside, although I did show up late at night while all the other stores/restaurants in the strip mall were closed. They were not packed at that time, but had a good number of people at tables spread out and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I also love that they are open till 10:30pm every night, which was a lifesaver for us! My katsu chicken was warm and crispy, just how it should be, and the white rice wasn't soggy or dry and crunchy. It was delicious and you get plenty for $12-ish. I also had enough chicken leftover for a complete meal the following day, which my very picky-eating son devoured! My husband's 2 orders of sushi rolls were perfectly made and delicious too, he said! If we ever come back through this area again on our next road trip (we are from Southern California), we will absolutely be stopping here again.
