The boil was amazing I got the Cajun Hot seasoning, and it was so good. The spice level and flavor were absolutely perfect. Our server, I believe her name was Jalisa, was so kind and attentive. We came here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find they offer different specials on different days for lunch and dinner. We ordered the snow crab leg lunch special and a fried catfish basket, both of which were very tasty. The snow crab we chose the all-spice sauce, which was especially delicious! The snow crab leg bag contained one egg and a potato. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Stopped by with a coworker after work and grabbed some crab legs at Yummy Crab! First time stopping by; the vibe was good and service was good. They had $5 Lemon Drops special at the time. I wanted to start with their fried calamari but it never came to the table so I was a little let down from that. I ordered the Combo D which came with 1/2 lb shrimp and a pound of crab legs and the Cajun seasoning was really good and had the right amount of spice to it. I was there last Thursday because it was my birthday, food was amazing not even going to lie and the service was OKAY. My only issue with this place is, they charged me 17 dollars for tip on my bill which I don't really mind but since when do they pick the tip I have to leave? And then when I paid in the front desk and signed the receipt the day after I looked at my bank account and saw a 121.73-dollar charge when the bill I signed at the restaurant was 105.58. This place will steal your money because is unbelievable how they took an extra 16 dollars for they pocket. Called the store yesterday and the worker told me that she couldn't do anything for me without receipt then I asked her to speak with the manager and at least she gave me a solution. We were on the hunt for seafood and decided to give Yummy Crab a try as the prices seemed more reasonable than some other places and who doesn't love a good boil!? The staff was friendly and helpful in showing us the ropes since it was our first time. He explained that you choose your meat (or a combo) and that it would come with potatoes, corn, and an egg. Both of us went with the pound of shrimp. You also had your choice of sauces and we went with the mixed and it did not disappoint...amazing flavors! You can also pick your spice level. I chose medium, while my husband chose hot. I am one that can tolerate a little spice, but don't want it to be painful to eat! . The medium definitely had a kick to it, but was just about right for me. We read a review about the portion sizes being small. I totally disagree! We ordered sweet potato fries as an appetizer because we were hungry, but at the end of the day, we took home leftovers because we couldn't finish our boils! Probably would have been perfect amount without the fries. Back to the boil!! Fun presentation coming out in the bag. They also brought a bucket for scraps, gloves, and bibs. Table was lined with paper for easy clean up. No way around it...it gets a little messy, but they set you up for success! Can you say DELICIOUS! While staying at a nearby hotel, I told the attendant I was pescatarian and she recommended Yummy Crab! I am so glad she did! I got the fried shrimp basket and the shrimp was fried light and crispy almost to perfection. I asked to substitute the fries for fried okra, and they politely declined I'm so glad- the fries are so good! I'm sure the okra is too, but I ate so many fries, I couldn't finish my shrimp. My sister grabbed 2 bags of seafood for our girls night in and we loved every bit! In our bags we had one mild and one medium spicy. Both bags had 1/2 pound Snow Crab and Shrimp heads off and one bag had Black Mussels and the other had 1/2 pound Smoked Sausage. There were red potatoes and corn in each bag as well. There was plenty of food for us four to share. The sauce was amazing and there were large pieces of garlic in the sauce of each bag. The medium spicy definitely had some kick to it. For togo orders they do provide you with gloves and wet wipes. Yummy crab is the closest boiling seafood spot to our house so we will definitely be back! Very disappointed with the food. I did the lunch special of the shrimp and a side of rice. I guess it's cool that it comes with a corn, egg, and potato but I only had 8 pieces of shrimp and for $18 that's not worth it. Also I can tell the shrimp is not fresh, it was just frozen shrimps. I got mild spice but it tasted like no spice and I was going based off other reviews that said mild was hot already. Won't be coming back here again. Today was their grand opening and I typically give a business a couple days/weeks to get it together before I go but dinner ended up being really enjoyable. As a group of 3 we were greeted and sat immediately. They had tons of staff working tonight. I'm talking like 15 people just out in the open and waiting to do something. There were on two other tables dining in and one lady waiting for take out. Our waitress was very nice and was familiar with the menu and offerings. We ordered hush puppies for an appetizer, the combo fried basket A (subbed out the oyster for more shrimp and added flounder) and the snow crab and shrimp crazy seafood combo. All of the food was served hot and came out within like 10-12 min after ordering. Hush puppies came out quicker as they were the appetizer. My only complaint was the calamari was super overcooked and not really edible. There were only 5 pieces in the basket so I didn't worry about complaining about it. Towards the end of the meal the GM did come over to the table and I mentioned it to him and he acknowledged they were working on getting it right but that's about it. Food was good. My friend really enjoyed her crab legs and we all enjoyed the flavor and size of the shrimp. They offer several different kinds of dipping sauces to go with your meal so that of course added flavor. The fries have this really good seasoning on them and they were delicious. I thought the bucket, bibs and wet wipes was cute too. We all didn't order that messy boil bag combo but the waitress brought enough for the table which was nice. You get a bucket with a plastic shopping bag for shells, plastic bib, plastic gloves, and wet naps. I don't know about you but I don't eat dinner dressed in plastic.
