Shrimp, snow crab legs and sausage boil.
    Bob S.

Absolutely wonderful seafood boil with snow crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn. 1/2 pound of each. Very tasty, but peeling shrimp and cracking crab legs are a lot of work. I'd much rather use scissors than shell crackers. Less work and you can get more meat out of the shells. They should add scissors as an option. I ordered the Cajun sauce and asked for it very hot. As usually when I ask for hot, it's rarely hot IMHO. It wasn't, but it was delicious. Our server, Zaee, was very friendly and attentive.

This rating could've been higher, but, waiting as long as we did for someone to come to our table to get our drinks order set the tone. After drinks, everything did come out fast. I was glad to get crackers for each guest, because at some crab boil places you don't get any, and they act like it's odd to ask. The crab legs were pretty good, sauces were pretty oily, but flavorful. The corn and potatoes were really good as well. Hush puppies were just ok...and there were about 8, but they only have 1 honey butter. What's up with sweet hush puppies? I've only ever had savory ones, until moving to Charlotte and going to a crab boil restaurant. My husband enjoyed the steamed oysters as well as the shrimp. It was my husband's birthday, and they gave him fried cheesecake. He really enjoyed it, but ate it at home and I didn't get a picture. It appeared to be cheese cake wrapped in a dough and fried. I'd go back. Maybe service was slow in the beginning due to it being a Tuesday night? The food runner did exhibit professionalism and ramped up the mood some. He had a very positive energy. I think our waitress was just spread too thin.

Great new crab boil spot in south Charlotte. Located in what was the O'Charly's. The food is fresh and delicious. The decor is seafood cheeky but pleasant. TIP: order the E combo which is not currently listed on the menus. It's a 1/2 lb of headless shrimp and a 1/2 of snow crab legs for $28.99.

The new Crab DuJour on the south side opened yesterday and we had to give them a try! My sister placed a togo order for 1/2lb shrimp and 1/2 lb snow crab add smoked sausages. The bag had a piece of corn on the cob and about 5 red potatoes. Overall we thought the sauce was oily. It had flavor but wasn't intense. There wasn't a lot of garlic and I had to swim thru oil to get to the seasoning. I'm glad we gave them a try but I wasn't impressed. We were craving seafood so we stopped in @crabdujournc for a seafood crab boil! The seasoning and garlic butter sauce was on point! The service was fast and the food was delicious. Glad we stopped in on our way back home from Charleston. What we ordered: Seafood Combo with Crablegs, shrimp (no head), corn on the cob, potatoes & eggs with mild garlic butter sauce Seafood Combo with Tilapia, corn & potatoes with spicy garlic lemon pepper sauce Definitely check them out!

I love this spot I'm not embarrassed to say that I'm here at least two times a week. The food is very filling and the customer service is great I go so often I feel like they know me by name or should I say by order?! on the side of the building is an entrance yo place to go orders. Most orders take about 10 to 15 minutes to prepare. I usually get combo I!

GO HERE! GO HERE! GO HERE!!!! Take your mother your brother your sister because it is amazing! Service was awesome from the moment we walked in the door. I got there 30 minutes before closing so to be honest I wasn't expecting much but boy oh boy did they prove me wrong. Our server was amazing the food was a straight tens across-the-board! This was hands-down the best Cajun style seafood restaurant I have been to. The seafood pasta was everything I hoped it would beAnd more! The shrimp fish and fries or cooked to perfection! Make this your next meal spot!

Came here today (valentines day) and this place is packed!!! So glad I stopped by because it looked cool from the outside and is just as cool on the inside! I think my bartenders said they are Bre and Brooke and they are the sweetest nicest help I've had at a bar!! I mean the atmosphere, the food, and the service are all a ten out of ten and that's why they deserve 5 stars. They are swamped and not acting overwhelmed or frustrated at all which makes the experience so much better for the consumer. They also have specials which hardly anywhere has since COVID!! 10/10 recommend!! They have their stuff together!!

Went when they first open it was tasteless lol but I've it more than one chance and it's been amazing from service to food! Taking a star out caus they need to work a little bit on they spice level. You won't feel heat unless you get xtra xtra hot

Tried this fairly new location in what was formerly the O'Charley's location. The wait for a table was minimal during a Saturday dinner time. The decor is fresh and updated. Pretty large location, great for groups! The food came fairly quickly. Ordered the headless shrimp and black mussels in garlic butter with minimal spice. The seafood tasted very fresh. The seasoning was not very flavorful.

We were welcomed and seated, having dinner with a friend. The menu is extensive and focused on seafood with lots of crab legs and shrimp and such. I'm not one to usually trust seafood this far from the coastline so I chose the Carne Asada which was very good. A nice portion with plenty of skirt steak cooked medium rare as requested with rice and beans and a little pico and a roasted pepper. Main complaint is that it was not very hot. I think these plastic plates are inexpensive for the restaurant but they make it hard to keep it hot from the kitchen and on the table. Otherwise, the service was good and the drinks were strong. We would (and will) return to Las Palmas. [Review 99 of 2025 - 4069 in North Carolina - 23666 overall]

Thankfully we had finished eating before the fight broke out. The place is nicely decorated and clean men & women's restrooms. They even have a place to take photos with cute Angel's wings in lights. The food was pretty good too. They brought out salmon ceviche, salsa, and chips for free to the table and it was excellent ! I got their carne asada taco and taco pastor for $1 each and a $5 Margarita since it was Thursday. The taco meat was a bit overcooked and dry. The tacos also were not authentic in that they did not come with a roasted jalapeno and onion. I had to ask for them after my plain tacos were brought to the table. They charged me an extra $2 to add them. I also got the shrimp enchiladas and they were very good. It was served with rice, refried beans, lettuce, and guacamole. Hubby got a lime jarrito soda to drink and enchiladas gringas (ground beef). He liked it. But the beef didn't have alot of flavor. It was served with sour creme, guacamole, lettuce, refried beans, and rice. I was going to order an appetizer, but they did not have any descriptions of them on the menu. I tried to order something that I THOUGHT was baked potato topped with scallop and chili from the photo, The label directly above it said papa something so I figured I was correctly interpreting the photo. Nope, the label went with the item on the left, which were basically French fries. When my app was deliverered to the table, it was a CUCUMBER, not a potato. I explained my confusion to the waitress. I would advise placing descriptions on the menu so the customer is not left guessing what they are ordering solely from a photo. The waitresses were all very nice. I was not charged for the appetizer I sent back. NOTE : THERE IS AN EXTRA CHARGE / FEE FOR USING A CREDIT CARD. Not sure about coming back. Food was good, but I didn't feel safe. I almost called the police but hubby said there were enough people there to call the police if they wanted to, so we just left.

After being seated and waiting for our drinks, it was 3:18 p.m. When we went to order, our waitress informed us that we could no longer order from the lunch menu because it was after 3:00. If the cutoff was strict, we should have been told that before being seated, especially since we asked about it upfront. Instead, we wasted our time only to be given completely different information by another employee. The lack of communication between the staff was frustrating and unprofessional. We chose to leave rather than order from the regular menu. Hopefully management can improve communication so future guests don't have the same experience.

Those are the highlights We had a reservation for 11 people and arrived on time...not one place was set for us (they were almost empty) and they tried to stick us in the bar with 3 kids....so we changed to the main part of the restaurant where we were 1 of 2 tables with patrons. This is a seafood restaurant that specializes in shell fish but has a few other offerings. This is where it got real interesting. BUT FIRST out of 12 beers offered only 3 were available. 1 of our party has a shell fish allergy and we were informed they have no grill and all food is fried and prepared in the same area and friers so they cannot guarantee no cross contamination. Even the steamers are used to make pasta and they are also used for steamed shellfish and obviously they do not clean or change the water. After the beers, not being ready for the large party and now this bit of news I was ready to get up and leave. But was convinced by everyone to stay and order....the person with the allergies ordered a Ceasar salad...the food arrived and then the salad was last....at which time he was informed that they had no Ceasar dressing so they delivered chopped lettuce with cheese on top...they then asked if he would like Blue Cheese, Ranch or Italian instead. I wonder how this place can stay open with inventory, service and offerings like this. Everyone finished their food and it was deemed "OK" and our friend with the salad ate the salad (small dish) and watched his wife eat with everything making his share of the bill $100.00 - for a salad an a dinner, For the safety of you and your guests if anyone has any type of allergy to a seafood product DO NOT DINE HERE. 11 of us talked after dinner and decided never again as it just was not worth the price aggrevation or the inconvenience to one of our party.
