So first the positive things. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and food quality. We did the "all you can eat sushi" and appetizers which was really good. We were seated immediately and didn't wait very long for the courses to start arriving. Now the not so good. The waiter was terrible. If I didn't ask if they offered seaweed salad I never would have know a separate salad bar existed as it was completely unable to see from the section where we were seated. Since the location is new you would think the server would ask if we knew how things worked. We ordered a few appetizers throughout the meal and had to remind the server twice we were still waiting on them as he obviously forgot they had been ordered. The server of the tables across from us was so much better at her job and very attentive to her tables. If it were not for the service itself I would have given Yummy Kitchen 5 stars. I realize the place is new but I didn't see anyone who appeared to be "managing " the place to assure customer satisfaction.

Husband took our family of 4 out to try out this Korean bbq, hot pot and sushi spot that recently opened up on Culebra. It was a very modern and clean location (& clean 2-stall bathrooms!) with a serve it yourself concept. Your party picks 1 of 3 options (for the entire table). If you want another option, you pay the additional fee. The server brings your drinks and appetizers, but you go to the fridge to get your proteins, noodles (if hot potting), and vegetables. There's a separate "cold" bar where you can make your own sauce, with seaweed salad, cucumber salad, kimchi, salad greens, melons, oranges, "tiramisu," and individual ice cream or sherbet. Our server Destiny was very nice and attentive, clearing our table and topping off drinks in a very expeditious manner. Speaking of drinks, there isnt a fully bar. So you can only get soju, sake, and beer. (Beer bottles are self serve in a separate fridge too). They have sake bombs for $13, but we didn't get that this time around. Our girls got the mango passion fruit refreshers and really enjoyed them. Husband got a peach soju (we couldn't taste any peach) and I got a Dr. pepper. Philly roll, Tiger Eye roll, the Mango Salmon, and the Yellowtail Jalapeño were all tasty - the former two were an additional charge but worth it. The mango was very fresh in the mango salmon roll! We went with bbq style. Favorite proteins were the signature pork belly, short rib, and the garlic shrimp. We also had the toro beef, spicy pork bulgogi, short rib and beef bulgogi. Will definitely be back!

Ask for Jaiden great service clean location and awesome food selection. The appetizers alone made my day. We tried the sushi for the first time and it did not disappoint. I was a little apprehensive about the price at first but it proved to be well worth it. Hot pot and BBQ are definitely next on the list.

Yummy Kitchen- Culebra Alamo Ranch area. This place recently opened and was ok. Design of restaurant is questionable due to narrow area where people are getting their food and staff is trying to serve from. Can choose hot pot, grilled, or sushi. One appetizer was initially forgotten, service was OK. Had three items on bill that were not ours. Not opposed to going back but will not rush to do so.

We went for my daughter's birthday. It is pricy, but worth it. We did the sushi all you can eat and everyone enjoyed themselves. Only issue was with ordering nigiri, when we asked for multiple they only came back with one. Other than that customer service was excellent and quality of food was amazing. Ambiance was also nice, large comfortable tables for large families.

They opened just a couple days ago. It is a small but pretty restaurant. You can choose AYCE sushi, hot pot, or bbq and can add a second entree for $3. This is different than jpot or kpot since it uses the full size hot pot so you have to choose either bbq or hot pot. We did bbq and sushi. We also got the included appetizer. We chose chicken wings and mango salmon ( not pictured because they disappeared too quick) is also unique because you pick your meats and veggies from the cooler yourself rather than ordering off the menu . Food was great and service was extremely attentive . Definitely will be back. Maybe will try hot pot but I loved the sushi and bbq too much.

4 sushi rolls, tempura shrimp, crab Rangoon, fried chicken.

The food was amazing. I had several tempura rolls, miso soup, shrimp tempura, crab rangoons, kimchi & salad. There was way too much food for me to eat but I wish I could. Our waiter, Jordan was so pleasant. We will definitely be back.

There were lots of people waiting to be seated by the time we left. That being said, there is a 2 hour dining limit. I read other reviews in which people felt like they were being rushed. We didn't feel that way at all. Our server did let us know about the time at the very beginning and gave us a heads up at the one hour mark. No biggie. Speaking of servers, ours was John. He was excellent! It was our first time there and he was great about explaining how everything went and gave us good tips on ordering. He checked on us throughout the meal, never hovering but always right there when we needed him. The staff and the Kpot bear came around with a birthday song and dessert for my husband which was a nice touch. The food is excellent! I feel like you can't go wrong no matter what you order. All of the meats were well marinated and easy to cook. Spicy pork belly was my favorite. The grill is set at a temperature where you won't burn anything. It all came out delicious! 10/10 food, experience and service. We will definitely be back.

I rarely give a one star let alone less than three star reviews to any restaurants unless it's an absolute catastrophe and low and behold, if I could give less than one star I would do so. I don't even know where to begin so I'll try to start from the beginning we get sat down. We get our drinks and normally they would turn on the grill to preheat it so that it's ready to cook the food that did not happen. We ordered our first round of meats to be cooked. It took roughly 10 minutes for those to come out and our server nonchalantly decided to just remark with oh they haven't brought your food yet. Let me go look into that. See what they're doing in the back. This was the start of excuse. After excuse from our server we will call him T the entire evening. After that, additional 10 minutes we had to ask for a girl to get turned on to which it never properly got heated so our food did not cook initially when we asked about the vegetables that come to the table with every single Korean barbecue or Japanese barbecue place you ever go to the response was not. I'm sorry I forgot it was. I don't know why they're changing the menu, but it's not on there anymore to which t proceeded to just hand us his iPad and let us select what we wanted instead of going over the options with us We then had to ask for scissors, which is also customary at this type of restaurant to cut your Cooks food. His response to that was oh let me go. Check with the dishwashers are done, washing them another excuse with no apology for his mistake once those came brought by another person, we were able to finally be in eating our food. We also had to ask for the spray oil to prevent the grills from sticking when we asked if the temperature on the grill could be turned up because it wasn't heating properly. He had no response for us. It took another lady to come up and offer us a different type of grill, which ultimately was a better choice because we were able to cook our When we asked about other options on the menu, he suggested a pork dish that he called, savory and sweet once the meat came, we noticed a very strong spicy smell to the meat and a deep red color which always indicates spice. He then proclaimed that he has never tried it here, and unless the chefs were doing something crazy in the back because they like to play with recipes, he wasn't sure if it was actually spicy or not not only is that just poor service but it's ultimately a dangerous proposition because if somebody happened to have a sensitivity to spicy food that could've been extremely bad outcome All of the food tonight was extremely bland. Everything tasted the same from the filet mignon to the scallops to the steaks and everything in between except for that spicy pork everything tasted exactly the same bland and quite frankly rather disgusting. When it came time for the Bill both parties notice that there was an up charge on drinks that we were not told about and additional beverages were ordered and charged before on our bill that we decided it was not even worth arguing about I personally have been to this restaurant three different times, and if you look at my previous reviews, I even gave them a five star rating that is not the case anymore. The quality has diminished. The food itself has gotten worse. The service was appalling and I will never come back to this restaurant again if you're looking for a good Japanese barbecue place look elsewhere than Jpot if anything they should change their name to F pot because that's the grade that they deserve a big fat F. Avoid it all cost do yourself a favor save yourself the money and go eat elsewhere. There are other restaurants like Chili's P Terry's and even Costco in the same parking lot that you'll get better food from if you need to feed your family. It's quite sad because this was a gym in the area and now it is a piece of crap spray painted gold Never again j pot never again The only the only positives would be the ambience as it is a fun environment. It is easy to hang out and have a good time although our table seem to be the only one that had a burnt out light so we had to use our flashlights to properly see if our food was being cooked all the way through honestly, the only thing that was worth a five star review was our sodas because those are made outside of this establishment and you can't F those up

I used Doordash, which I usually have pretty good luck with, especially when my son orders it through his own account. After waiting more than twenty minutes after the delivery time, I got a text from the dasher telling me to cancel the order. My son had already told me about that scam. You go into the app and get the support folks to cancel it, or it is called "customer initiated" and you lose your refund. Anyway, Doordash had the order redone and delivered with a new driver. Let's get to Sichuan Garden. I ordered from here because they had some "non- standard" offerings. I lived in Taiwan a while back and upon return to the US never acquired a taste for the supposedly authentic Americanized dishes. I ordered stir fried pork tripe and pork intestines in spicy chili sauce. I got a complimentary side of fried rice with each of them. I also ordered beef lomein for my son and 4 eggrolls. I tasted the lomein, and it was just okay. I have definitely had better. The egg rolls were "delivery soggy" but tasted fantastic. Can't complain there. The trip and intestine dishes were both delicious. I could eat them every day for the rest of my life and be satisfied. The fried rice, though, was awful. I used it the next day to make a much more improved version at home. All in all, I like the food from Sichuan Garden. I am anxious to go there and dine in. There are some other "non-standard" items I want to try.

The crab rangoon dip and cornbread stood out the most among the appetizers. The dip was an absolute hit and is something I'd definitely recommend. The cornbread had a subtle sweetness that paired well with its flavor. I also liked how it had a waffle shape to it, very different. I was a bit skeptical about the honey walnut shrimp at first because it looked pretty simple, but it ended up being delicious. The Spam fried rice was also nice, the pineapple paired great in it.
