If I could live here... I would! I've been wanting to try this place for such a long time after seeing their videos on Instagram pop up! They have such unique choices of sushi, and I cannot tell you how delicious each one was! The Crispy Rice Tuna was INCREDIBLE, I ordered it three times during my time there! Our waiter was friendly and all the staff always kept in check with any dishes that needed to be taken and our waters. The only thing I disliked about the place was the convenience of the area, it's on top of a real estate firm next to a dominos and spa place, had a difficult time navigating but still found it. The sushi itself, especially the rice & fish (nigiri) was heavily full of rice, so I don't recommend getting it. We didn't wait to get seated on a Monday night, but the staff did forget about our Yellowtail Special and Salmon Sashimi, so definitely reminding them is the way to go, they brought it out within minutes. I will be coming back to this place! read more

Love this all you can eat sushi place in the heart of coronado! The views from the restaurant are so nice. Outside seating has a nice view of the water as well. I would recommend getting here early. We got there around 5pm and didn't have a wait, but at 5:30 there was a line. They have the $45 AYCE and the $89 boujee AYCE with nice cuts of fish/expensive proteins. We did the $45 to try it out, but next time we'll probably try the boujee one ;). Sit at the bar to get your sushi faster! Recommend this place! read more

We came here after seeing a cute video of the beautiful view on IG. I'm sad to say that was the only good part of dining here. First our table and menus were covered in soy sauce. Sticky and dirty. It took so long for someone to come check on us so that we could ask for a wipe down and new menus. We ordered off the all you can eat menu and we were so disappointed. The appetizers feel frozen and deep fried. So much batter and oil. The truffle fries and the cucumber salad were so good. Everything else was terrible. Chicken teriyaki - dry. Sauce bland. Edamame- so unbelievably soggy. I couldn't eat more than one piece Tonkotsu ramen - pork is dry. Broth is bland. The egg is bland. Nothing special The salmon oshi has a laughable fish to rice ratio. The rice is dry. I enjoyed the mixed sashimi and that's about it. Service was extremely slow. I waited over 20 min for a simple glass of wine. We were only checked in one once. Poor service overall. We wanted to like this place but overall a disappointment. I would recommend Little Sakana if you want delicious all you can eat sushi. read more

It was definitely delicious! The restaurant was nice & service was friendly. We opted to do the all you can eat sushi. I really don't like when all you can eat places force the entire table to participate. Unfortunately, this is that place. Thankfully it was our first time and our server made an exception for us but still very frustrating as they didn't tell us until we ordered as well. Sushi was quality and we got nice pieces of fish. We had the best experience celebrating my boyfriend's 30th birthday here! From the moment we walked in, the service was fantastic, and our server Adelaide truly made the night special. She was so attentive, friendly, and quick even with a busy dinner rush. She checked on us often, gave amazing recommendations (we especially loved the salmon oshi and the UTC!), and surprised us at the end with a sweet birthday treat complete with a candle. The atmosphere couldn't have been better--right across from the Del with a perfect view of the sunset on the beach from our table. Everything from start to finish was seamless, and Adelaide went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. We'll definitely be back ASAP! read more

Sarah rude server took a long time to bring food and was very nasty face server. Asked for all you can eat sushi. First order came somewhat fast except for my husband had to ask for his sushi order a few times. Last order taking over 20 minutes to arrive. When people that were seated after us was coming in up fast. And had like 10 rolls on his table. Instead of getting a nasty face she should have been apologetic that would have made up for the long wait for the food. Being kind goes a long way! read more

For the price of the regular tier, the quality and quantity of the sushi was great! There was a good selection of your favorite fishes and they had good rolls to try as well that were pretty unique. I will say though that our server definitely had a huge change in attention towards us after the middle to end of our meal, where he was definitely trying to limit what we ordered by ignoring us or saying he had others to attend to and walked right on by. read more

This is hands-down my favorite spot for sushi! We love sitting outside and taking in the beautiful view of the ocean and palm trees, it's the perfect setting. The all-you-can-eat option is absolutely worth it, and every piece of sushi is incredibly fresh and sophisticated. I love everything about this place and can't recommend it enough! read more

If you're a sushi fan, you should check out Yummy Sushi in Coronado. Don't let the corny name throw you off. It's legit. The bluefin sashimi was insanely good and both "special" sashimi options were exceptional. The nigiri options for toro, yellowtail, salmon, and halibut were awesome. They also have quite an assortment of special rolls to compliment killer hand rolls. They have a traditional menu and an AYCE option for about forty bucks. Easily one of the best in San Diego County. This is such an interesting review to be writing and honestly I tell people about this place a lot in person as well. I'll start off by saying the negatives as I see them.... When you first drive up to this place. It is in a strip mall in Coronado over a Subway sandwich shop. My friend that suggested that we go here heard an earful from me when I was like I'm not eating at a place over a Subway sandwich shop! I really thought it was going to be awful. Then there's the service... I don't think I've ever gotten good service here. People tend to be snarky or really not interested in doing their job. I've actually heard employees next to my table talking about how much they hated management or that the kitchen staff was lazy, really crazy stuff to be saying right next to a customer. So why is it getting five stars??? The sushi quality is ridiculously good. The cuts are incredible and super fresh, and you even get really high quality fatty tuna for the hand roll. As part of the all you can eat. It's insanely reasonable and some of the best sushi that you can get in San Diego period. Having good quality food that is also at a reasonable price point is more important than anything else. You can go to really trendy flashy places that have better service and still not get great sushi. Considering that you're dealing with raw fish, I'll take it all as long as it's fresh. read more

Came here on a weekday for an early dinner with a party of 5. We waited about 30min for our table. If you are seated by the window you get a very nice view of the surrounding homes and beach. They didn't require all of our party to do AYCE, which was nice. We mostly ordered the nigiri and they are very generous with their servings. The fish was fresh and delicious. Service was a bit slow with the food but they did warn us about that when we were seated. Despite that, they never forgot any of our order. Overall we had a very good experience dining here. The pricing was reasonable, even for the premium menu. I would recommend a try if you are in the area or are craving some AYCE sushi. Looking forward to come back here again. read more

Went in on a whim during Independence Day weekend and to my surprise it wasn't jam packed - maybe that was just lucky timing bc by the time I left it was getting full. The selection was great and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, efficient, and quick! I like that the rolls are 4 pc versus the usual 8pc so we could sample more items. We chose the $45 regular AYCE menu. We arrived at 3:30pm. Despite arriving at this odd hour, the service was extremely slow (20 min+ wait for each order). The server couldn't bother to check the status of our order. Our party left the restaurant hungry because we simply can't sit and wait anymore. read more

The view is fantastic! The food is good! Unfortunately, the service was a complete disaster!!! We waited for 40 minutes after ordered, just for a server to come back and said that they lost our ticket. Without any apologies, just: "We lost your ticket, can you order again." 15 minutes later, the missing ticket magically reappeared. Our next plates came out an hour after the first ones (timestamp on pics below). Our appetites were gone at this point. So disappointed!!! read more

"All you can eat..." Nooooooo! I know, I know, the term AYCE when it comes to sushi makes people cringe but I must say, they are not all built equally. Do I suggest going to a budget AYCE joint? No I don't (but I've done it) as the quality is going to blow. How about high-end? They really don't exist for AYCE, so enter the middleman, a place like Yummy. Here is the deal, sit on the patio, in the sunshine, order the standard AYCE, a few bottles of sake and I dare you to not have a good time. The view of the beach, the wind on your face, and some pretty good sushi that is made to order. They comply with the standard AYCE sushi laws with things like "you must eat all that you order" but rules like that are totally fair and there for a reason. A place like Yummy is a great chance to experiment and try new things without breaking the bank all while checking out the beautiful City Of Coronado. read more

An ocean view and all-you-can-eat sushi for $45? Unbeatable! The nigiri was incredibly fresh, and the rolls were flavorful and creative, not just variations of a California roll like you see at many other places. Yummy Sushi offered a wide variety of nigiri, including unique options like swordfish and red snapper that I hadn't tried before. The sashimi (pictured) was the highlight of the meal, super fresh and beautifully presented. And their crispy tuna had the perfect balance of crispy rice and spicy tuna, which is hard to find in San Diego. Highly recommend for a budget-friendly, scenic dinner in Coronado! read more

My experience was awful. It was dirty under the table. There were pieces of rice and tempura under the table. Service was awful. We ordered our first round of food and it took forever to come out. It didnt even come out all at once. We got one plate every 20 minutes. There were 10 minute intervals in which we were not eating and just waiting on another plate while people around us seemed to be getting their food all at once. The server never checked up on us. I've seen this place so many times when visiting Coronado but had no idea what was in store! The outside is very unassuming and is tucked near the beach with some chain restaurants surrounding it. The inside is nice with many tables for all the hungry customers. My friend and I both got the regular All You Can Eat and we were not disappointed. The rolls were fresh and flavorful! We also got a few appetizers like the Gyoza and Salmon Crispy Rice (I still have dreams about this one!). Everything was prepared quickly and we very seldom had an empty plate or empty glasses in front of us. Plus, the view of the beach is a can't miss. Been seeing this place in my instagram so we decided to finally cross over Coronado bridge and give it a try Parking is street but if u don't mind paying parking there is one underground I paid 25$ 3hours so worth it We opt for the 89$ All u can eat menu but even the 45$ is already a lot of selection They make the sushi as u order so it's not seating out I ordered all the prime menu and by the time I was done with it I can't eat no more So my fiends and I will be back here this wknd and eat more yummy sushi read more

The name doesn't do this place justice! The BEST sushi I have ever had! All you can eat and we didn't want to stop! We tried so many things from the menu, including the Hotel Del roll and their truffle fries, everything was absolutely amazing! Excellent servers, kind staff, and very obviously amazing sushi chefs. This place was trendy while still sticking to the basics, had modern options and menu items while providing quality and authentic rolls. I seriously wish we lived here so we could be regulars. Street parking wasn't too hard to find and the area makes for a lovely walk. Highly recommend and can't wait to vacation again on Coronado for the sushi alone! read more

I've been wanting to try this AYCE sushi spot as there aren't many in San Diego and I saw a tiktok that made this place look promising. You can either park in a structure ($5 per hour lol) or try to snag street parking. We came around noon on Saturday and had no issue with being seated right away. We opted for the $45 option as we didn't think the premium option was worth the increased price point. I didn't like how there was so much rice with each nigiri piece bc I've been to other ayce sushi places where they're more mindful. All in all, the quality was not bad by any means but for the price point, I was expecting more. They also charged me extra with eel sauce but they didn't let me know ahead of time. I will say that their location has a beautiful view of Coronado beach but I don't think the view will be able to get me to come back. I can also appreciate that their rolls comes with only 4 pieces and I think that's the perfect amount for AYCE. I think I'd rather go to the AYCE sushi place in Mira Mesa where it's cheaper and it still has a myriad of more options (and less rice). read more

A group of six of us went here last night for all you can eat sushi. My friend recommended this place. They only allow reservations for six or more so I did get the chance to make reservations in advance. Definitely made a difference because they seem very busy! We ordered a number of sushi rolls and sashimi. I really like that their sushi rolls come in sizes of four versus eight or ten. It makes it a lot more feasible to try all different types of rules. Our server was very nice and very tentative to us! There were a lot of food Runners so our food just kept coming out and we kept ordering as we went. It was honestly one of the most efficient all you can eat Sushi's I've been to. The quality of fish is pretty good as well, I really enjoyed the black dragon roll in the Coronado beach. Although I think they really have something for all types of sushi lovers. Oh and you also can catch a slight view of the beach sunset depending where you sit. read more

We came here for lunch on a Tuesday for AYCE sushi for two, which came out to $191 total. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The sashimi didn't look fresh, and there was absolutely no presentation. The overall quality of the sushi was well below average--I found myself needing to wash down almost every bite with ginger just to get through it. I tried to address my concerns with the owner directly so I wouldn't have to leave a review, but she seemed completely uninterested and unwelcoming. Honestly, I could go to a 1-star sushi spot and get the same quality for one-third of the price. Other than the fact that the restaurant is near Coronado Beach, I can't find anything positive to highlight. Our server was good, but that's about the only upside. read more

All good things come to an end! .... I miss Eugene.... This was my go to spot for over a decade.... They changed owners in 2024 and did some menu updates to include AYCE which I was happy to see..... but....the service is slow and inattentive and it seems they are understaffed most days..... I specifically love this spot for the patio views and enjoy eating outside but they consistently tell me that it is closed because they don't have enough staff..... they are missing out on a lot of business with a location like that..... as for the food, it's still very good but their drink menu isn't what it used to be. If you have the time to wait it's still a good sushi spot. read more

We came on a Sunday night around 5pm. It's on the 2nd floor, so not easy to see from the street. We were seated at the bar. I like being able to see the chefs making our food. Everything was delicious. We especially liked the Mikko and Long Island rolls. The Coronado Beach had crawfish on top, very unique and memorable. The service was very good. We felt like we were well taken care of. If you have a kid that's under 12 that loves sushi as much as my son, then you'll certainly get your money's worth. The area around it is so happening. The only thing is hard to find parking on the street. read more

This review is to recognize our server, Adelaide, who saved our meal and experience. We were really looking forward to dinner at Yummy Sushi, and I want to start by saying the sushi and the all-you-can-eat experience were 10/10 -- fresh, delicious, and absolutely worth it. I also have to mention Adelaide's standout service, which truly saved our night and is the main reason we would return. Unfortunately, our evening started off very disappointing. After being seated, we waited about 15-20 minutes without anyone coming to our table. Not even water! Meanwhile, several tables that were seated after us were already being served drinks and food. We had multiple staff members walk right past us, and we weren't even sure who our server was. It felt frustrating and honestly a bit dismissive. It was a cluster ! After we finally spoke up, to someone Adelaide came over and took over our table for the missing server -- and she completely turned things around. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, apologetic, and empathetic about the situation. She even said "I know how hard it is with two little kids at dinner" She handled everything with patience and professionalism, even though we were understandably upset about the long wait. She made us feel heard and taken care of, unlike the manager on duty who clearly knows nothing about management or customer service. She said she needed to "talk to the owner" about accommodating our complaint. When I tried to share our concerns about the initial wait, she was dismissive, walked away mid-conversation, and even rolled her eyes and gave me a dirty look. That response felt unprofessional and disappointing, especially in a customer service setting. Adelaide though is truly a gem. Because of her -- and the amazing food -- we would absolutely come back and request to sit in her section. I just hope management takes guest concerns more seriously in the future. read more

So they had to tell me twice (I didn't see the small white sign down the alley: so you don't get snapped at I have a pic of where the food is prepped and picked up.) There were 2 taco orders ahead of mine, yet it took 15 minutes to serve my taco. I'm glad I waited there - they yell your name at the alley, I'm not sure it could be heard at the beach and over the live music. Please take a look at my $8.50 fish taco.
