Love the food and the customer service! I will say though the last two times have been a different experience with items missing from the menu and possible their AC being out. It was really hot this recent time.

All you can eat k bbq. All the food was pretty good. Tried a few different plates but some of them had so much meat on them it was hard to try many. Would have been better with more people

This time, the service was much better. However, the food was not as good as it used to be. Many of the things that were once great now feel questionable in quality. It's truly sad to see what used to be an amazing restaurant decline after their IPO. The rice, the sauce, and even the grill all seem to have changed for the worse. The grill is the worst part -- it now has a strong "chemical" nonstick coating that affects the overall experience

Yummy! My recs are beef belly and Galbi ribs

I got the best experience here at Gen! I've been here a lot of times in the past but this time really stood out. Daniel our server took such good care of us. In fact the whole team here were hustling and checking on each table. The food got to us so, so fast and in fact for a while the meat kept coming non stop it felt like royal vip treatment! My family and I loved our time here will definitely come back soon. Dominick the manager was super awesome too- it's awesome seeing everyone step in and help.

I am not an expert on Korean food, but compared to other Korean restaurants I've been to, this was very good. Atmosphere was great and selection was overwhelming. It was event, not just dinner.

Empty drink. Empty grill. The Gen special

Great food but never go during a dinner rush. We visited Gen 2 times with similar experiences. We were left waiting for 20+ minutes on end for literally anything. Our first visit, we waited 20+ minutes for a manager to cash out our check, which was extra exhausting because we didn't even have food to eat while waiting. Our second visit, we enjoyed our first round of meat then were left with an empty grill and empty drinks for 20+ minutes before our server even noticed us. By the time he came by, frustration pretty much spoiled the meal/experience and we asked for the check. This place could honestly be a gem if they staffed appropriately and provided any form of actual customer service. TLDR; good food but probably only visit during non-busy hours or expect wait times and poor customer service that rivals even the DMV.

The place is super Smokey and oily. We were seated quickly on a Sunday night around 6pm. We had the premium menu which is recommended if you like better cuts of meat. It was a busy night and it felt a little understaff. The food was slow to come out and our poor waiter kept on being pulled to different tables. The best thing was how quickly they change out the grills as it blackens. The thicker cuts of meat weren't very juicy especially when it's leaner. I enjoyed the thinner slices. The lightly marinated ones are better. We also tried the shin ramen but it came out in a paper bowl. Maybe japchae would've been better. Our mock tails were way too sweet. The dragonfruit sparkle wasn't much sparkle and more syrups

Services was my only issue kept forgetting what we asked for. Amiance was casual and good. You cook your on food so good.

We went here on the weekend during lunch and order the dinner menu with the premium meat. Overall the cost is $50 dollars, but we got the Costco gift card for $80 for $100 dollars. This time we knew what to order and focused on the premium meat. The place was not busy at 11am, but got more busier after 12pm. My advice is show up at opening as the plaza does get busy after 12pm and parking will be much harder to find. I do love the wagyu beef, ribeye, short rib and beef tongue. I do like the salad that comes with it. If you have the money I would just pay extra for the meat. This time we did not leave stuffed. The potato salad was good too. Anyways a great place to go to.

First, the soda machine may need a good cleaning as none of the sodas we tried tasted quite right. Then, the catfish was inedible. The texture was rubbery and it was extremely difficult to cut into. I tried one bite and it was awful and seemed unsafe to eat. Something definitely went wrong in the kitchen. However, when this was brought to the owner's attention, he didn't apologize but instead tried to guilt me, the customer, with, "Aw, you didn't like my catfish?" The staff at the register showed him the catfish and I directly told him it was inedible and explained why. His response? "That's ok. You're not hurting my feelings." It wasn't personal and it's weird that he tried to make it about him. I doubt a single soul wants to eat rubbery catfish. A simple apology would have gone a lot further.
