Just ate here for the 2nd time in a week and have been pleased both times. My husband and I LOVE Thai food and my step-mom is from Thailand so we can be pretty picky. Yes, it's a brand new restaurant and they are still trying to get everything sorted out to keep up with demand so show a little grace & kindness. Most people don't know how hard it is to run a business - it's exhausting and so much is sacrificed - especially in the beginning. I had a chance to meet the owners and their little girls...super sweet family and they are wanting to do the best. If you came here and had to wait or the experience isn't what you hoped for, I'd encourage you to come back after a few weeks and give them another try. I know yelp is for honest reviews but consider the people here giving it their all. So far we have had the curry fried rice, yummy rama chicken, pad broccoli & crab rangoon...all of which were perfection in my opinion. This will definitely be in our regular rotation from now on. We tried this out on their first night of being open and it did not disappoint. We had our meal delivered and they were quick and polite with everything correct on the order. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai, BBQ Pork, and Orange Sesame Chicken. Everything was flavored well and cooked perfectly. The name does not lie! Everything here, except for the steamed rice in which I get why, is extremely flavorful and aromatic. The lunch special is especially a great value. The only negatives are that the place fills up fast and the soups and stews come out at roughly 210 degrees and need to sit for 30 minutes before it is safe to eat. read more

My colleagues and I dropped in here for lunch last week. We were seated fairly quickly by our very earnest-sounding waiter. The complimentary bowl of soup that was served was pretty decent as well. We ordered the fried tofu and spring rolls to start, followed by our entrees. I ordered the basil chicken, and my colleagues ordered the pad prik khing and a steak dish (can't remember which!). Ordered delivery- Got the fried tofu appetizer, Thai fried rice, and pad Thai. All was amazing. Highly recommend the tofu app and the fried rice. Beware - they are slowwww. I live five minutes away and it almost always takes an hour for delivery. I'd suggest picking it up or ordering it before you are hungry. read more

Awful experience.. forget about the worst tasting food where they just dump entire bottle of fish sauce and never admit to it. they need to teach their staff about basics of customer service and talking etiquette. Nice new spot with plenty of employees all hanging around the kitchen area. The lady worker startled us quite a bit, she would walk in the door yelling something at everyone, then left speeding out of the parking lot. Come back, yelling again, and left again. Not sure what was going on there. Food was good, I ordered the Larb Kai which arrived in about 10 minutes, and Baby Pho for my daughter. My son ordered the Kao Moo Dang, which arrived 15 minutes AFTER our food, so we were finished with our meals! The late food (and the crazy lady) is the only reason I'm giving them only 3 stars. His food was delicious, way better than mine, and they apologized for the wait, but there's no reason that should have taken so long. I will return, hopefully we can all get our food at the same time. read more

decent. I got the opportunity to try Yummy Thai at the Dish event my apartment community put on a couple weeks ago. They were pretty decent and so i figured i give them a try since they are right around the corner. I try and make sure to order the same thing I normally would when I go to a new Thai place so that way I can compare flavors and styles.... so Pad Se Ew noodles with chicken, medium spicy level it is. I'm not going to lie, I was a little disappointed they weren't BYOB in addition to their prices being a little higher than other Thai places I love around town. The service was great, very friendly and attentive. The food was decent. If it's a rainy/cold day I might give them another try because they do offer delivery, other than that I unfortunately don't see the need to go back. there's just too many other places in town that I enjoy better, for cheaper and I like bringing my own bottle of wine. read more

I came here with my mom and her friend for dinner on a weekday, and it was not busy at all. We were seated immediately by a friendly server and given menus. We got the chicken pad thai, chicken drunken noodles, and beef pad see ew. Food came out relatively quickly, which was a plus. Pad Thai was super sweet and a little ketchup-y in my opinion, but my mom's friend seemed to enjoy it. The other two entrees were tastier and better seasoned. We got one of the dishes at spice level 3, but that wasn't spicy at all - if you're looking for a kick i'd recommend a higher number than that. The portions were huge and I ended up taking the leftovers home and making 2 extra meals of it. Overall not a bad experience at all, but not really a spectacular one either. read more

I love this place. The Tom kah soup is delicious. They have a pretty fast delivery to. They have great food and service here.

Really overrated. 1) when ordering for delivery, portions are extremely low, when compared to what you are being charged. 2) I ordered just now medium spice, what I received was bland w/ very little spice. 3) the lunch special was supposed to offer two spring rolls, they actually took one spring roll and cut it in half and called that two. ( by far the cheapest crap I've seen in Asian take out history). 4) They dedicated half the container to two half's of the one spring roll and sauce. Which meant I got half an entree as well. They must really hate return business! PS They repeatedly hung up on me, when I tried to call them back. I hope they burn in H*ll after going bankrupt. The menu is huge covering Thai, Lao, Vietnamese and Malaysian food (over 100 dishes). What is their best specialty? I revisited 2nd time yesterday for dinner: 1. I tried "papaya salad"; server recommended a "papaya tray" which is huge but the papaya salad is just so so but small, surrounding with 4 escargots, Vietnamese pork ham, Vietnamese pickled mustard greens, fried skinned pork, and boiled yellow canned bamboo shoots. I thought it is a good idea to blend all Asian flares on one tray; but the papaya salad is not standing out. All the food placed surrounding the papaya salad are tasteless. 2. I also order Jungle Curry which is a disaster on my Saturday night dinner with good friends. Chicken is tasteless the soup based is clear and taste like water, veggies in the soup are not well cooked, especially eggplant is still raw, non of the veggies or chicken has no curry taste (Jungle curry). when I asked server about it she said, "the menu is clearly said that no coconut milk curry. I quietly asked the server took it away from my table. 3. But the sticky rice with mango desert is likable but the sticky rice seems to be old because we spot many small lumps of rice are stick together. Literally, I had to push 1 star in order to submit this review otherwise they don't deserve even a star. This place is worse. They ruined my birthday dinner. I am a vegetarian person and they served me chicken pot-stickers in the name of veggie pot sticker. When I said that this is chicken then the staff started arguing with me and then one of the staff person came with another plate of pot-sticker and claimed that we are sorry as we served you chicken one. The lady who was acting as manager was the worst person to talk with. She had so much of attitude and was like we can't help with the order and its totally upto you whether you want to visit us again or not. She was so so rude and not at all deserve to work in a service industry where you have to be polite and gentle or at least be sorry on your mistake. read more

Yummy Thai used to be good. Infact, very good just some time back. Both the food and the service. We were very disappointed to see the levels it has fallen to. For both the service and the food. Service more than the food. a) Rice is broken and not fluffy as it used to be invariably everytime we go these days. b) We ordered tea and it took multiple asks for it to be refilled with hot water. c) Food came about 30 minutes late. The restaurant was not even full yesterday at lunch. d) Still Pineapple fried rice for my kid tasted very good. e) Curry was meh.. I have tasted much better before from here. read more
