After frequenting this place, I do have to take one star for the way they serve banchan. I get why they do what they do but it's an irritant and really waste of servers' times. All the banchans listed on the AYCE are not served automatically. There are several dishes that you have to ask for. Based on prior experiences, I knew this, so tonight, I asked to bring me all the banchans, yet, not all were brought. I had to ask separately for the following: Japchae Lettuce Garlic Sesame leaves/pepper So that was four different times I had to ask for things that are included at AYCE. I get that sesame leaves/peppers are not the most popular dishes but lettuce, japchae and garlic are well known especially lettuce and garlic for BBQ. But, all in all, food was delicious and service was great as usual, and I know in the big scheme of things, the irritant I pointed out doesn't bother majority of patrons. I'll be back. read more

We have been going to the Yummy's in Provo and have been anxiously waiting for the Orem AYCE to open. Went tonight, still the soft opening, service is great! The pork belly is high quality. It is not marinated but they have a house sauce that is good. I just put some kimchi on top and ate it with that. You can ask for the miso and hot pepper paste and that is fantastic. The garlic chicken is as good as ever, the Teri chicken is great. I am kind of a sushi snob and didn't want to try their sushi with their artificial crab meat but the server suggested the God Bless America roll. It was included in the price so I figured why not. It was actually very good. I would get that again. We spoke a while with One of the owners and he said they have a lot more menu items still to come -- Chigae, jajaengmyun, so it will become a full menu Korean restaurant. PROS: I LOVE that the napkins and utensils are hidden from view but accessible on the side of the table so it allowed me to use as many napkins as my OCD permits. Hibachis installed in the center of the table gives you control to cook as much or as little meats as you want. The restrooms are clean and don't smell, a big plus for me. CONS: Ordered two sushi platters which didn't appear until 30 minutes prior to leaving. The reason? The waitress said she simply forgot. (No worries, we got that discounted off our entire bill of $100+ dollars) This incident is what disappointed me so much that I excused myself to go outside and begin writing my review for this eatery, and, that's how and where I discovered the proximity of the sewer manhole. Which now brings me to the stench upon walking towards the entrance. I noticed a foul smell which I later discovered its origin: the sewer manhole was 15'-20' from the entrance. This is my favorite place to eat in town! It's hard to say which dish is the best because I love them all so much. But, chadol is probably my number one favorite. I love the sushi too; the sashimi tastes fresh and really good, which I think can be hard to find in Utah. The buffet may seem a bit expensive at first, but it is well worth it. You should definitely try out all of the great dishes they have to offer and have fun grilling them. The service is amazing because everyone is so attentive and nice. If you are in the mood for dessert, I would definitely recommend the hotteok ice cream! The "pancake" is nothing like I've ever tasted before - it was SO good! Korean BBQ options are quite scarce in Utah valley. Yummy's does a good job of helping fill that gap, providing both at the table grilling options as well as sushi. I haven't seen sushi at a Korean BBQ place before, but the sushi here is pretty good. I would recommend the God Bless America roll. My favorite grill items are the pork belly, and the spicy pork and beef bulgogi options. The best all you can eat Korean BBQ I ever had. The customer service and staff is great and the vibe of the restaurant was good. This place is great for families and kids. The sides ( kimchee, cucumber kimchee, daikon kimchee, chapchae ) were all on point! The sauces were perfect for meat dipping. The 2 meats we ordered the most were pork belly and thinly cut brisket. The meat looked so good when the brought it out and cooked perfectly and tasted amazing with the sauces and rice. We will for sure be back at their Provo location. Yummy's is a great spot! All you can eat has a ton of variety and overall has a great feeling and customer service.

This place is really bad. We went today for lunch and it was super disappointing. We had a party of six and we all got the AYCE. Every single food item they brought out was cold and it took them 20 minutes or more to bring out every additional item we asked for. The grill took forever to heat up and we ended up waiting nearly a half hour until our meat was ready. The meat was flavorless and cheap. The cheesy corn was thawed frozen corn with cheese sprinkled on top that we had to heat on the grill ourselves and it took forever. The sushi rolls took 40 minutes to come out and all tasted the same. Our server forgot several items we asked for. The menu makes it look like they offer a bunch of sides but it's really just kimchi and lettuce and tiny plates of cheap food. And then the owner came out and told us that we needed to leave because we'd been there an hour and a half and our time limit was up. (There was NO ONE in the restaurant -- not like they needed tables.) I felt like it was super disrespectful considering our party was paying about a $200 tab and we had to wait SO LONG for everything we ordered. We won't be back. read more
