Wow very delicious doughnuts, I think these were Vietnamese and French fusion pastries were so good! These are gourmet doughnuts executed perfectly the red bean filled was nicely stuffed and the beans almost tasted like a vanilla ube flavor and the twist was so light and airy great yeast doughnut! Both lightly sweet really enjoyed them! We were stuffed or i would have liked to try more! The egg salad sandwich looked great!

Cute little minimalistic coffee/dessert shop! Lots of windows with natural lighting which was very nice. Family friendly, but also nice and quiet so I could see this as a good place to plug in and get some work done! We ordered 3 hot drinks and a red bean paste donut. I had the hot brown sugar latte with oat milk...that was very good. Just the right amount of sweetness to it. My boyfriend had the hot lavender latte with oat milk and he loved his beverage as well. There was cute little latte art on each of our drinks! Everything was reasonably priced as well. I would go back there to try other desserts!

Great desserts & delicious drinks! We came for an afternoon pick-me-up coffee and ended up having desserts, too!

The exterior belies the beauty and sophistication of the interior design. Plus, it's huge, there's tons of seating. The service is fast and efficient, desserts are outstanding, and they have some savory items. I'm a sucker for Asian style hot dogs and Yuri's is the best I've had, 100x better than Paris Baguette! Their cheesecakes are super light, maybe weighing 3 Oz. We got one to share but ended up getting more. Everything we ordered was top quality

I absolutely loved my experience here and I will be back! The decor and aesthetic of Yuri's was calming and very tasteful. Not to mention, the lavender iced latte was the best I've had in Portland thus far. I had the strawberry croissant and it was simply perfection.

Mango strawberry and wild blueberry croissant!

Atmosphere so quaint Sweet baristas Coffee so delicious with cream and sugar options on large table You can watch someone make the pastries on the side Great spot for computer and coffee Amazing croissants!!! Mango was my favorite the blueberry was mild with sweetness which was so yummy the strawberry was as expected and a lot less sweet than the mango but equally delicious

Strawberry matcha, red bean donut, blueberry and coffee macaroon. And my best friend in the whole wide world.

Let me tell you, it is not called Yuri's desserts for no reason. The food is always very good. Here we tried the red bean cream donut, and additionally some macaroons because they had a little new year special. The lighting and vibe of this place is one of the best in Portland. I would collage in the back table, the sun in the afternoon is perfect. They have incredible matcha, but the pastries are so good. I have had the almond croissant and it is very well made.

Yum! What a nice bakery tucked away on Spring st. Its a little hard to find but worth the trip. Beautiful cakes and pastries and a large dining area to sit and have a snack. You can order cakes for birthdays and events.

I don't know how to put this lightly, but these were the best f*****g pastries/donuts I've ever had in my entire life. I take my coffee and pastry game seriously--I love finding new spots and trying sweet treats wherever I go. A local recommended this place, and we're so glad they did. Even after a full meal, we somehow managed to eat everything. Nothing went to waste. Just look at my partner's face, every last bite was worth it. Let the pastries speak for themselves.

I remember when Yuri was doing cake pick ups at the house! It's awesome to see their space. The strawberry cake is delicious! So light, fluffy, and not too sweet. I love to order this for birthdays! The macarons are the perfect texture. My favorite is the pistachio. The space itself is super airy and bright. It's a good place to get any work done or meet with friends for coffee.

Cream donut. I don't like donuts, but this has made me a donut believer. Light, thin perfectly fried dough, sweetened red bean and cream. So light and fluffy. We bought 3. I was a bit meh about the mango tart. It wasn't extraordinary considering the price tag. Fresh, perfectly ripe mangos, but found the tart crust a tad bland, and could use something more. Hoping they will expand their menu but will be back and rave about their cream donuts. Take my money!

I've been waiting for Yuri to open for MONTHS and came on their third day! My short review is that it met every expectation of a standard chain Korean bakery, and did not fall short. From their opening rumblings, the owners have lots of experience at tous les jours and Paris baguette -- both Korean bakery chains that can be found in the US. You'll find standard lattes and drinks, laminated French croissants and viennoiseries, but with an Asian twist, which means lots of cream and fruits. Things are pricy -- a patbingsu is almost $18-20 here, but the ambiance is light and airy and the treats delicious. They open til 4 most days and 6 on Friday and Saturday!

Gross Confection recently announced on social media they would be shutting down the bar/desserts service while remaining open as a bakery. My wife and I came here many a times for an end cap to the night for one last drink and delicious and beautifully made desserts. From times in their dimly lit space that gave off romantic vibes or even enjoying our desserts in the summer sun outside people watching, every time will be remembered. Timing worked out well and we were doing a staycation in Portland and knew we needed to add a stop here one last time. Thankfully we got our names in on the waiting list early enough Friday and got sat as one of the last tables. We each had one last phenomenal drink; my wife and Apricot 75 that had a great tart kick of apricot and lemon. While I enjoyed their Chai Fashioned which spelt like a chai but had that boozy bourbon warming you'd expect. Dessert wise everything sounded good as always but we settled on two. The Goat Cheesecake and Pineapple Cake. The cheesecake was the perfect sweetness without being cloying and the blueberry sorbet on top paired so well. The pineapple cake was moist and tasted so good we needed to scrap the plate clean. I'm sad that Portland is losing this amazing dessert space but glad it's not a complete goodbye since they'll operate the bakery still! If you somehow read this today and have the chance make it in for one last visit tonight before they close their doors!

Do not come here expecting to sit at a cafe and eat indoors. There are only a few outdoor tables. This is more of a take out spot. The drinks (iced tea/cold brew/hot coffee/tea) are premade and I would say are above average. The pastries we had were unbelievable! Flakey, buttery croissants with simple but punchy flavors. After having some of the bread prior to our meals at a few restaurants, we found out the bread is locally sourced at a sister business right around the corner from where ate the night before. There is parking avail for customers in the lot for 30 mins, we prob waited about 20 mins and crossed the threshold into baked goods heaven. There was so much to select from - we got pastries, cookies, pizza and bread - and we pretty much liked everything. Our least favorite was the morning bun with walnuts - we didn't have it right away so that might've been part of the issue. Just note that the bread served at the restaurants aren't available until 2pm - we were leaving that morning so we weren't going wait for it. We opted for other loaves instead and they didn't disappoint. If you want something yummy and fresh - make sure to stop by here before heading out of Portland. I do wish the setup was a bit more conducive to the big crowds as there isn't much space from the front door to the counter but still a fantastic find!

When I got in, I saw the flavors listed on the board and tried a few samples served on a metal spoon. Since I was in Maine, I had to try the two blueberry flavors. I immediately fell in love with the Maine Wild Blueberry Crisp Gelato and asked for a small cup with that flavor. The Maine Wild Blueberry Crisp Gelato is comprised of wild blueberries intersected with a sweet and crunchy oat streusel covering and kissed by a scoop of vanilla. It was so yummy! My husband had the Netflix & Chill Gelato which is caramel gelato with brownie bits, peanut butter cups, and kisses. The small dish was $6.35 each and it includes a Maine restaurant tax. The next day, during the Portland: Old Port Culinary Walking Tour on Sunday, June 14, 2026, our last stop was The Gelato Fiasco. Funny enough, I was just here the night before. At The Gelato Fiasco, our group of 13 were able to each choose two flavors. Since I already had the Maine Wild Blueberry Crisp Gelato last night, I wanted to try some other flavors. This time I got the Ripe Mango and Thai Iced Tea. WOW! The Ripe Mango and Thai Iced Tea really tasted like how you would expect it to taste, all the flavors were there, but imagine it in a denser, silkier texture and a more intense flavor. I highly recommend checking out The Gelato Fiasco, you will not regret the smooth and creamy texture of the gelato. There are plenty of seating inside and outside.

Gofres are these smaller, sweeter, denser waffles that taste delicious with either a drizzle of caramel OR a drizzle of vanilla icing (like what you get on top of cinnamon rolls). I had gofres every day walking to Parque Marítimo. I haven't had ANYTHING like it since coming back to the States, and that's been over a decade now. Segue... The Marshmallow Cart is just fun. Good, old fashioned, fun. It's good for kids. It's good for drunken twenty-somethings outside of Fore Street bars. It's good for tourists. It's good for those of us with a sweet tooth who need a fix but don't want to spend a lot of money. And it's good for those of us who like the idea of s'mores, but maybe don't want to purchase all the ingredients to make them ourselves, because... let's face it... there's always half a box of graham crackers leftover (and seriously, what does anyone ever do with those?). It's run by a staff of fun-loving folks. And they've got fire. So, basically, it appeals perfectly to most people's inner child. There's only two things that prevent me from giving The Marshmallow Cart full marks: 1. Marshmallows are typically made with gelatin. Gelatin is typically made from animal by-products (think bones, skin, and tendons). I don't know (but would update this in a heartbeat if I did) if The Marshmallow Cart makes their marshmallow's with gelatin or if they're vegetarian-friendly and use guar gum, agar agar, or pectin. That being said, as a vegetarian, I'm not exactly rushing to get back here for this particular product. 2. THE WAFFLES ARE DELICIOUS. They sooooooo remind me of my Spanish gofres, but... The Marshmallow Cart doesn't have icing for them. I think the only options are marshmallow or nutella. Allow me a Veruca Salt moment, if you will: I WANT ICING. AND I WANT IT NOW. I would come out of my way for this if it was available. Maybe I should just start carrying my own bottle of it around in my purse? The point... if you like marshmallows (and don't have a plant-based diet), s'mores, waffles (sans icing), fire, and smiling... The Marshmallow Cart will not disappoint.
