Thankfully my dentist office referred me to Upland Endodontix. I thought I had to call them but to my surprise I received a call from the best front desk team, Ashley and later Alexis. They scheduled me for 3 PM originally. They were already booked and I was a referral. I told Ashley I was in so much so if they had a cancellation please call me. I hung up and wondered how I could make it until 3 PM, it was 8:30 AM. I prayed for strength to endure the pain until then and 5 minutes later I received a call back from Alexis telling she mentioned my pain to Dr. Byun who is God sent and he told me to come in immediately. When I walked in I was greeted by the epic duo team Ashley and Alexis. Savannah came and greeted me just as I sat down. She took me back to the room and took X-rays. She was extremely gentle as she manuevered the machine. Dr. Byun walked in afterwards and asked me about my pain. His bedside manners are awesome. He listened intently and proceeded to trouble shoot to find the root of the problem. Ironically I had to get a root canal. Between Dr. Byun and Savannah, the procedure was expertly performed. From the time I walked in until the time I left out I was treated like I was the only person there. Thank you for relieving my pain while making me feel like royalty.     Not in Delta Dental network and purposefully hid that fact as long as he could…read more TL,DR: Dr. Hockin is purposefully trying to scam people into letting him do their dental work despite knowing it's going to cost them an exorbitant amount because he's hiding the fact that he's not in-network. Not sure if he's in any other insurance network, but even if he isn't, he will 100% not tell you that. My dentist referred me here for a root canal. Apparently they used to be in-network until about 3 months ago, but aren't anymore. My dentist was unaware of this. When I called to make the appointment, they asked for my insurance provider, member ID, Group #, all of that and never said anything about being out of network. When I got there they did another x-ray, even though my dentist sent over the x-rays he just took earlier this week, and did a quick, 2min exam. They then tried to have me sign something else and said they were gonna start the procedure but I asked for an estimate of my co-pay first. Literally every other dentist I've ever been to has always provided me with an estimate before doing any work and I found it shady that these folks didn't. The nurse seemed anxious when I asked for it but she went and put one together. The estimate FOR MY PORTION / CO-PAY was over $800 for JUST the root canal since my dentist was gonna do the post and crown himself next week. My dentist's receptionist had looked it up for me when I was there earlier this week and told me my co-pay for the specialist would probably be around $40-$60 because I opted for the best dental insurance my employer offers. When I questioned the unexpectedly high cost, only then did she admit to me that it's because they're not in-network for Delta. I let her know that there was no way I was having the work done there when it would be less than 1/10th of the price at an in-network Endodontist and she completely understood. As I was leaving I asked her what the charge would be for what little they did today and she told me it would be $170. For comparison, my dentist did multiple x-rays (rather than just the ONE the endodontist's office did) and a much longer exam and the whole visit was covered by insurance, zero co-pay. At this point, it became clear that that's why he had her do that single x-ray despite the multiple angles that my dentist had sent him. He was trying to milk the appointment for all he could. Of course, I disputed that amount on the grounds that I wouldn't even have set foot in his office had they not hidden the fact that they were out-of-network. She went and talked to the dentist, came back, and said they'd be waiving the charges. I have no input as to how good or bad his actual work is since I didn't really allow him to work on me. All I know is that I'm down 3hrs of PTO at work for nothing, and am going to have to suffer at least an extra 3 days, since it's currently Thursday afternoon, with this tooth ache while I find and make an appointment with an in-network endodontist. Had they told me on Tuesday when I called to make the appointment that they weren't in-network, I might have been able to book an appointment at that time to have the work done this week by someone in-network. Regardless of how good or bad his actual dental work may be, Dr. Hockin is just a terrible person.

The…read moreinitial care involved a consultation, including x-rays, health record and an oral examination by Dr. Reza. Dr. Reza and his staff were the absolute best. From the time I entered the office everyone was professional, courteous and very welcoming. The front desk is very helpful, organized and friendly. The dental assistants and technicians were outstanding, as well. My name was even listed on the board of the office to welcome me to their practice. Their waiting room is clean and videos are very educational, too. Dr Reza reviewed my x-rays and suggested treatment(s). Everything was completely on board and I felt no pressure regarding his suggestions. The follow-up visit involved repairing (3) of my existing resin tooth fillings (which I already knew were an issue) which has now been completed and I can't be any happier with the outcome of my experience. The only suggestion that I have is that additional signing for the (2) entrances at the back of the building from the parking lot would be helpful. If you are looking for a dental practice in the Rancho Cucamonga area, I strongly suggest that you give Dr. Reza and his team consideration. Looking forward to my 6 month teeth cleaning visit. Dr. Reza and his team are A1.

When I asked the front desk clerk whether patients regularly consumed them in the waiting room she confirmed that, yes they do. When asked whether the waiting room was regularly cleaned to assess how much of a risk my child was in sitting in the chairs, she said they clean once daily. The staff did not seem concerned about the risk to my child. They also did not seem educated in preventing allergic reactions for future patients. The clinic was clean and the staff were polite albeit uneducated in food allergies. Those with a tree nut allergy be warned.
