This place reminds me of a resort like spa. I got the peaceful, serene, feeling from beginning to end. I did a walk in, after dropping off a package at UPS (in the same plaza). The entire process was smooth and comfortable. They have drinks in the waiting area and a TV screen while you are getting worked on. Time flew as I was getting my teeth cleaned. I've been looking for a good local dentist and I have found my favorite one ever! Dr. Rivera has been awesome and very caring. I hate dentists but her and her staff have been nothing but friendly and comforting. I enjoy the fact that they make you feel at home with their fancy tv's and great movie choices so you're not just sitting in silence while they work on your mouth. I had a great dental visit with Dr. Rivera and her office staff. They are compliant with the COVI-19 precautions. Her office is beautiful and well decorated. It is very obvious how nervous I get when sitting in the dental chair. Dr. Rivera helped me to relax. She is professional, gentle and has relaxing tone of voice. She first explained what the treatment plan entailed. At my request she explained what step she was about to take in anticipation of every step. Personally, this helps me to calm down and be ready. I loved that the office has a ceiling TV. I requested the documentary My Octopus Teacher and loved that the staff complied in playing it. The staff was friendly. Dr Rivera called me that same day, the staff called the day after also to follow up. I left the office pain free and remained so the next day too. In conclusion, I have never had a better dental appointment experience. read more

Dr. Rivera is the best dentist I have ever gone too! At the beginning of my appointment she sat me down so we could discuss what I was there for (if anything in specific), if there was anything I wanted her to focus on, any concerns I had, etc. That was a nice bonus, no dentist had ever done that with me before. She explained everything she was doing and any work that needed to be done in detail! I loved it! The office is very clean and modern, which I appreciate. I recently moved to the Upland area and was looking for a Dental office near by, I did what most everyone does yelp, google etc...then I seen an add in a flyer. I called had an appointment schedule for three days later. GREAT!! I thought to myself. So, I get there and I was greeted with a smile, a good morning and asked if I'd like something to drink. This facility was clean, bright and cheery, I waited for approximately 7-10 min. Dr. Yvette Rivera came out very warmly greeted me we went to her office. We had a brief conversation where she got to know me as a person which, I really appreciated, because nobody takes the time these days to get to know other people. So, their tagline is absolutely true "where you're more than a patient" So, bottom line is... Great people, great service, clean facility! Oh and the best part... Last year I was visiting friends in Upland after flying down from Oregon. I landed with a bum tooth and searched for a Dentist. I was fortunate enough to find Dr Rivera at Mountain View Dental. It was an easy walk from where I was staying and an easy walk from Cable airport. The staff fitted me in quickly with a smile and reassurance. The office was comfortable and in no time I was seen. Dr Rivera is very professional. She explained what she would do making sure I understood. I was prepped for a crown and at the same she time took care of a side issue with another tooth. She is very focused and professional and when the crown arrived she seated it perfectly. Several months later I came back down from Oregon and she dealt with a tooth I might have lost but she saved it. The aide and staff were very helpful and pleasant. I was looking for a dentist that would take my insurance. I wanted someone local, who was female, and who was Latina (wanted to support one of the familia!) Dr. Rivera fit the bill. I also had a raging tooth ache, which resulted in needing a root canal and crown. Dr. Rivera does it all. Now, I hate going to the dentist. I mean, really hate it. I hate it so much that I usually only go every 4 or 5 years, which means each time I have to get a deep cleaning, which is usually an arduous process because it's done in quarters. Not so with Dr. Rivera! I don't know what kind of voodoo magic instruments she has, but half of my mouth was done lickety split. The other half was done in even less time, along with a couple of cavities. My ONLY critique is that the hours are limited when the doctor is actually available (if I could give 4.5 stars, I would), but the rest of the staff is there (fortunately, my work schedule didn't conflict with her hours). From the front desk manager Gina, to her assistant Cindy, Dr. Rivera's practice is wonderful. Friendly, caring, gentle, and, as others have noted, free movies! I'm confident this time I won't wait 4 or 5 years for the next visit. read more

I love my new dentist and her staff!! I was excited about getting a new Dentist office so close to home since I had been driving to Claremont to get dental work. This is my second visit at this dentist office and I absolutely love it. Dr Rivera is very thoughtful and you can tell she thought of the customer when she opened this office. From the coffee and drinks she offers to the TV overhead (so cool) to the glasses she puts on you, everything was well thought out. The best thing is that it is clean!! We were looking for a Dentist that was in our area we were referred to Mountain View Dental. As soon as we walked in we were greeting by Gina, she made us feel comfortable right way. Not even a couple minutes later the we were greeted by the Dentist Mrs. Rivera. The entire staff is wonderful and makes your experience going to the Dentist wonderful and fun. If your nervous the staff will make sure you are completely comfortable before doing anything. They do not rush and they take their time with you. My husband went in for a deep cleaning and he does not do Dentist but now he won't go anywhere else. After we were home Mrs. Rivera called to check on my husband to see how he was doing. It's nice to go to a place that actually cares about how your doing. We LOVE MRS. RIVERA AND HER STAFF!!! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! THANK YOU!! read more

Did not like the service here at all. After all the positive reviews on yelp about this place I decided to try them out but unfortunately, it didn't turn out well for me. I had some minor pain on a tooth and decided to have it checked out. Dr. Rivera recommended a root canal and referred me to Dr. Sue which I will also give a review on. long story short I had the root canal done which cost me a lot of money and pretty much exhausted my benefits for the year which would not cover the next step which was the crown that Dr. Rivera was going to place after. After discussing my financial situation with Dr. Sue she advice me to go back to Dr. Rivera and have her put me a stronger filling which by the way it is part of the preparation for a crown anyways. so basically, they were going to start prepping it to give me sometime to wait for my new benefits to kick in which was less than a month away. When I called the office of Dr. Rivera to let them know that I had the root canal and ask for a stronger filling I was told they couldn't do it because my tooth will break. like really? was she planning to put a crown over the temporary filling? Obviously, not so what was the big deal? She then said I can keep the temporary filling just not to chew on that side so I follow her advice and my tooth broke! Also I had a quick cleaning. I honestly, was in shocked after that so called cleaning! I have been to different places and never have I ever had a cleaning like the one I had. Dr. Rivera's. Dr. Rivera took a quick looked into my mouth removed some tartar in the last upper and bottom tooth and that was it! After, that the hygienist which was very nice took over and applied the fluoride, polish and floss me. I left very disappointed. I will not be returning taking my business elsewhere. read more

Just started going here after my neighbor recommended I come to her dentist. Not only is it close to my house, they have super friendly staff. Dr. Rivera and Cindy answered all my questions and made me feel very welcomed. Which is good because I can get quite nervous sometimes! But my visit was very comfortable and fast! Dr. Yvette Gutierrez Rivera is an amazing dentist. My father went to a dentist yesterday that blew him off because of his insurance. Dr. Rivera's office took him in right away this morning, they took the time to call his insurance, and they treated him with excellent care. Very clean and high tech. I really liked the tv on the ceiling which you can watch a movie while they work on your teeth. Dr. Rivera and her staff are very friendly and professional. I randomly found this dentist going to the spot cafe next door and OMG this dentist office really goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They work with your insurance to make sure that you get all of your dental needs covered with the lowest out of pocket possible. Dr.Rivera is very peppy and friendly, she is the friendliest dentist I've ever met. They even heard my stomach growl while they were doing your xrays and gave me some free cookies and tea to make me feel comfortable.
