I was gifted a pedicure for Mother's Day and i have to say THEY SPOILED THE MOMS! Kim was my pedicurist and she was absolutely amazing! Holly and John were making sure all the moms were pampered from check in to check out. They had amazing snacks and drinks available and would refill all drinks and food the entire visit! I got the Volcano Pedicure with Gel polish and I never experienced such a great time. From the rose petals and orange slices in the water, to the wax and hot rocks massage to the amazing steam during the 20 minute massage.., Kim made sure i was happy and relaxed from start to finish! I highly recommend this place to everyone and can't stop telling my friends about my experience! After my appointment, I accidentally dropped my phone on my big toe and ruined my nail polish, I drove back to the salon and in hopes that they would fix it, but I was worried they would be upset or wouldn't be able to since they were already busy when I left, but I was pleasantly surprised when they immediately sat me down and fixed it with no problem! I came back here strictly because my cousin comes here and swears by it. I went in today #2 chair and was asked if I wanted a fill. I declined nicely because I had gotten one last week. I did have a 2 nails that needed fixing which I had no problem paying for. The second I said NO it went downhill. Her whole attitude changed- she asked me who did my nails because of how bad they were. Also proceeded to ask again if I wanted a fill and when I declined again she was super rough with me throwing my hands around and filing so hard. She also mentioned to her co co- workers on two occasion that I did not want a fill. To be honest I would have gotten chrome and or a pedicure but the experience was so bad I just wanted to leave. The icing on the cake was that I am pregnant and while drying my nails she had me lean over the chair to use the dryer on the next table instead of bringing it to our table that we were at. I felt like it was very rushed and the middle nail was not filed down- I would have asked her to fix it but I was really uncomfortable. The ambiance is nice and the other staff was so friendly but this really was a not relaxing experience and everyone else around me was offered water and drinks but I was lucky if my lady talked to me. read more

I use to think Yvonne's Nails was the best nail Salon in Fremont until I made a complaint with John the owner... My complaint was about his worker that did my manicure with polish and all. So after her clipping my nails cutting cuticles and filing I was ready for her to ask me to wash my hands? But no she didn't then I thought oh I guess she's just going to spray some of that alcohol over my fingers to clean out any or all of the dust and just trash left on my nails and fingers? NOOE! She didn't do that either. Instead she just carried on with the primer, polish then glossy coat! Then asked me if I wanted lotion? Huh? Do you mean a massage that comes with the manicure? I said yes if that's the new name for massage "lotion" Anyway, I was not happy so I decided to take my complaint to the boss John in hopes that he will talk to her in a private and professional manner? But boy was I WRONG!!! Soon as I said hi John, i have a little complaint about my service today? He replied WHAT" what is it?" I tried to explain to him about the sanitizing process like washing of the hands? He turned to me and said "what? Is that it?" "Just go wash your hands right now!" And thought he didn't understand my conversation so I repeated myself, "No John I'm talking about the middle of getting a manicure don't you need to wash your hands? "Oh that's Nothing! That's why they use alcohol to spray your fingers! But she didn't even do that!" Well if you don't like it? DONT COME BACK!!!! Do you know how hurt that made me feel because I've been coming to this place for the past 8 years!!!! And never once have I complained! Now I know this has nothing to do with my review but it's also my birthday! And my husband asked me what do you want for your birthday I said breakfast at IHOP and manicure at Yvonne's! April 12, 2026, It looks like my previous review was deleted. I am posting again. It's important for the public to know what can happen when getting nail gel done at Yvonne's Nails and how you will be treated when asking for help. After getting my nails done here, I returned with a painful, red, swollen thumb and simply asked to have the gel removed so I could go to urgent care. Instead of concern, I was met with very defensive man. When I showed him my nail was turning green, he ran to the break room laughing and talking in his language so I cannot understand what he is saying but it is obvious he was making fun of me. Hurt upon injury. As I am getting the gel removed, he kept coming to the nail station to harass me" "this is going to cost you XXX%=$", etc. I don't care, I am in pain and I need to go to urgent care as soon as possible, I said. He went in the breakroom to hid while someone else checked me out. The MD at Urgent Care later diagnosed a significant abscess under the gel, and I'm now on two types of antibiotics. Very disappointing experience. When a customer is in pain, health and safety should come first--not money. The shop manager did contact me to "write a new story" asked me to come back. There's no way in hell I would go back there. I lost my thumb nail, and all my other nails are very damaged, thin, and pealing to get a nail service done. It's going to take at least six months to heal from this. read more

I called this morning to make an appointment with the salon, and I was told to come in at 11. I arrived on time and ended up waiting there for 40 minutes, but the person for the service I booked still was not ready. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of communication. No one updated me or checked in with me during that time. I was the one repeatedly asking when the chair would be ready for me. After waiting that long with no clear communication, I decided to leave. I honestly feel like this was very disrespectful of my time. If the appointment was not actually available until later, I would have appreciated being told to come at 12 instead of being asked to come at 11 and wait almost an hour with no service. I completely understand delays can happen, but better communication and consideration for customers' time would have been appreciated. read more

My very first time at this salon yesterday and had a really great experience at the beginning and through the service! My nail tech jacqueline, was so sweet and nice! She took her time and did a really great job with a take off acrylic and gel manicure. The salon had availability and wasn't busy! The hard part was the end, the guy was rushing me. I tried logging in my info and he was just demanding how much tip, and if i had venmo or zelle... they just accepted a bunch of walk ins right before I was leaving, and he was rushing me out. I have mixed feelings about this place. Decided to do a review based on today. On the one hand, I absolutely love it here - the atmosphere is lovely and clean, and my go-to nail technician is kind, professional, and incredibly skilled. However, my experience is marred by the owners' behavior. The female owner is particularly problematic; despite her smile, she speaks poorly about clients when they don't get their way, and l've witnessed her doing just that when I opted out of getting gel nails (last year.) The male owner was fine until today, he seemed upset that I wanted to keep my appointment with my tech instead of switching to another technician who was available. When I politely declined to change and even offered to wait, he then started to guilt me saying how much the customer wanted my tech. I offered to wait again, but said I wanted to stick to my tech. He seems to become agitated, yelling and pointing me towards the my nail tech chair saying, "go go!" Which left me feeling quite uncomfortable. Unsure if that was a misunderstanding, but he didn't apologize. It was unprofessional. He's normally Very kind, which is why I was surprised. It makes me wonder if the situation would have been handled differently if I were a different race. Despite this, I'II continue coming here because the tech is good and the atmosphere is great. However, the female owner (unsure of her name) and some or the other technicians need to work on maintaining professionalism; the constant gossip about others is really uncomfortable and increasingly hard to ignore. I also feel there's a level of racism. It's clearly a difference of treatment with some customers compared to others. My appointment has been pushed back hours and I let it go, but being a teacher it's hard to fit this into my schedule and unfair to me. To make matters worse, and I pray this was an accident, my go-to tech, cut my nail so low I was in pain. I expressed that it was too low and she said "oh I just want to make it short for you." But it's clearly dangerously short. She's so experienced it felt confusing by this action, but I hope it was a mistake. I just feel sad and disappointed with what I experienced today. Especially being a loyal customer of over 6 years. I'm so kind and still tip well. I hope next time I have a better experience. Also I hope my nail doesn't become infected/ damaged. I had a bad experience from a previous salon due to a low cut nail. I'm really nervous. (I'll update this if things are better.) read more

WOW. This place gets better and better. Me and my sister brought my mom for Mother's Day. We made an appointment at least a couple weeks in advance because we knew it would be busy. They go above and beyond every time. They provided seats outside knowing the waiting area would be packed. Because we made an appointment, we were brought in and sat almost immediately. My mom always gets the same ombré French (but changed up the color slightly this time and it looks so good) and she brings her own nail polish for her toes. My sister got a pedicure and a manicure. And I got a full set. I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. They had a long list of drinks available, fruit cups, charcuterie cups, roses for moms. Callus remover is not supposed to cut up your feet . 80$ pedicure and this is what it looks like the next day. Told the lady it was burning and itching and she continued to leave it on to finish shaping my toes and used the scrub brush . Super easy to book an appt online! I booked the morning of and they had enough nail techs to accommodate me later that afternoon. I was also running late so I called ahead to let them know I'm on the way and the man who answered said "that's okay we'll be here drive safe" which was really nice. I had an appt with Tammy and she was very patient and friendly while I chose my nail color. She was efficient to take off my previous acrylic nails, very detailed when cleaning my cuticles, and precise with my updated nail color. The price for this service was $45 all together for an acrylic removal and gel manicure. Way more reasonable than other nail salons near by.
