Pia, the Sales Associate was a Gem to work while seeking a Sofa for my Daughter. She didn't try to upsell me while preparing quotes. She also took pictures of the mock-ups & swatches to take with me. What I really appreciated was her telling me to give her a call once a decision was made, oppose to her calling & "hounding" me for a sale. I forgot to call her & Pia gave me one courtesy text to check in & share about a VIP sale that was upcoming. The store is full of anything & everything glamour, glittery, embellished & furry for all your furniture, artwork & decorating needs. Prices are a little steep hence the "gallerie" aspect...perhaps. This is totally the place for glitzy gifts if you're not furniture shopping. Definitely ask for Pia if you stop in. read more

I was looking for a bed online and stumbled across one that I fell in love with on Z Gallerie's website. I wanted to see the color swatches in person, so decided to go in. I called a couple of times to see if they had my pieces but didn't. I spoke to Traci and Kay. Both were extremely nice and helpful. I arrived at the store and felt like a kid in the candy store. This store is absolutely beautiful. Actually, it's breathtaking. I met Traci in person and she was just as engaging and professional in person as she was over the phone. I showed her pics of my bedroom and she gave me some feedback and design ideas. I was very impressed with the selection and store setup. I was supposed to be window shopping and ended up purchasing the bed because I had such a positive customer service experience. I will definitely return. Furniture is pricy but you can tell it's of great quality. Oh the only downside... delivery costs are very expensive. read more

This store is quite deceptive. From the outside it looks like decor that would adorn a multimillion dollar apartment in New York City. Yet when you walk in and take a look at the price tag....they're surprisingly affordable. I would describe their style as art deco meets Laguna Beach. It's glamour without being too stuffy or serious. There are lots of glass and shiny surfaces that one can feast upon. It's a great place to walk around and just get some ideas as to what pieces might work in your own place and or what might just be completely impractical for your lifestyle. For example...a white couch and pets. It wouldn't stay white very long in my house that is for sure.... Every time I come here I've only seen one or two people working and I've never been approached by a sales associate for assistance. So for that reason I think their customer service is a 3 stars. I purchased a sectional in Feb 2023 i was given two delivery dates after they missed both original dates I didn't feel comfortable with that purchase. They told me I would get it in August. By this time I was "over it" I chose to change it for another sofa that was due to come in the same month of Aug. They agreed to change the sofa for me. I'm "supposed to get it early to mid Aug. keep in mind I ordered back in Feb over 3k. So 6 months later still no sofa,now it's on sale. I call them to pay the discounted price and they said "we no longer do that!" SMH. They aren't trying to make anything right! They have high end selections of home furnishings and is my go to place for decor and ideas. Slow responding customer service email refused EVEN THOUGH CHAIR IS NOT BUILT YET or being delivered until OCTOBER!?? Unbelievably bad/distant and UNaccomodating service imaginable. Will update this review if they even make an EFFORT to solve this...especially since FABRIC is the LAST THING a furniture vendor would do on an order. I've expereienced better just by going to the location in Atlantic Station. The Z. Gallerie stores are one of my favs, for ideas, inpiration, and bedazzled photo frames. On my second visit to this store, Im still not that impressed with this location. Being a retail worker, I understand the concept of the store is ABOUT to close and your are over "it". But that's the case, the store is ABOUT to close, it isnt like you are closed and im standing outside the store knockin on the glass to be let in, if the doors to the business are open, I expect customer service til the very last second I walk out the store. Not so in my two visits here, I gave them the first one as a freebie, because it was their grand opening weekend, but this time was on a lone Tuesday nite, I was the only customer in the store, along with four employees. One was on the phone, the other was counting down a register (at 8:45) and the two others were putting things away and not one....of the four greeted me, asked me if I needed any assistance or even glanced my way til I walked up to one of the two that were doing the stockwork and asked for some assistance. Makes me miss the days when i use to mystery shop. After telling her what I wanted, she immediately headed for a clearance table, which didnt really pissed me off, but what she showed me no way reflected what I had clearly asked for. After I told her, AGAIN what I was looking for, she went on to say, oh that it over there and pointed towards an area of the store that had so much merchadise littering the area, that I demanded that she take me to wherever "there" was. She walked me to the area, and walked away, never again saying let me know if you need anything else or anything. Finally, I selected what I needed. Headed to the register, the one lady that was counting the register was still counting and the other hung up the phone as I approached. As she began ringing up my item, I asked for a gift receipt. After I paid, she handed me my receipt, and I asked about the gift receipt, in which she replied it was too late for me to get one. UH-------------i asked before you even rung up my purchase and now its too late, but since it was too late, she just reminded me that my purchase had to be returned with a RECEIPT within 30 days. Duh....that why I asked for the gift receipt, so I don't have to give the person my original. Off to the Atlantic Station location from now on. read more

Good Afternoon, This past weekend, Sunday Feb 2, 2020, I was in the Perimeter Mall location, Pia was the consultant assisting me. The experience I had was going good, but began to seem like I was unwanted or was taking up to much time, from the store manager. She was very rude not only towards me, but also towards Pia. I asked Pia from the beginning of our conversation if I needed a tear sheet on anything did ZGallerie have them and she said yes, I informed her that I was working to furnish a 7 bedroom house with many other rooms and areas that I needed furniture and décor for. She was able and ready. Now if we back up, I walked around the store for 15 minutes and no one said one word to me, the guys on staff were in the store talking very loud and saying things to each other that should not be said if there is a store full of customers in the store, gossiping, lounging around. Very unprofessional. Once Pia began to help me, the store manager at one point when I was looking at dining room tables, came by and put her recommendations in, however the way she was talking to me was very rude as if I had no knowledge of how I wanted my house furnished. Pia would print off tear sheets and get me pricing and lead times. Occasionally I would walk up to the register area where she would be printing off the sheets and I would over hear Pia ask the manager a question to make sure she was pulling the correct information. Pia would stand there with her arms folded and talk to her so nasty and then be rolling her eyes, she wasn't quiet about it either, she was loud because that's what made me look up and notice. I did not understand why she was talking to her in such manner. This kept going on the entire time I was in the store. I was there for almost 2 hours. Towards the end of me making my selections, Pia asked the manager a question and the manager answered again rudely but begins to tell her in front of me that she needs to mind all the paper she keeps printing because they are low. Pia told her she was doing this for the customer, me, the manager said she didn't care she needs to watch it. I was in total SHOCK that for one she said that and in front of me. Her attitude was horrible. If there was another ZGallerie in the area, I probably would have left and went there from the beginning when I noticed the first round of rudeness. As much as she offended me and I do not want to return to that store, Pia was so kind and helpful, I will be making my purchase SOLELY because she is there. But for the store manager to have the attitude she had with myself the customer AND her co worker, was unacceptable. The unprofessionalism that was going on around me with the other employees while I was there was just shocking and I had to consider to myself do I continue to spend thousands of dollars in a store that's like this or go somewhere else. But again all the praises to PIA for keeping her composure and assisting me with all of my selections. read more

I have never been a big review writer, but as I walk through Perimeter Mall I realize that I should probably start writing reviews about my experiences in some of the stores. I work for a high-end luxury furniture retailer in the Atlanta area and my primary responsibility is focusing my team on customer interaction. I just walked through Z Gallery in Perimeter Mall and not one single person said anything to me, not even a hello. I walked past the customer service desk and three people were there not paying any attention. I then proceeded to sit on a sofa for approximately five minutes just to see if anyone would approach me. Nothing. I'm not complaining, but I feel it's my responsibility to share my experience with others as I'm sure many other people walking through this particular location are probably experiencing the same thing. I like Z Gallerie. Yes, the furniture dazzles, yes it is oversized, and yes it is ultra feminine, but I like that. The pieces can be strategically incorporated into your decor and look very beautiful. I have no problem with the merchandise per se (quality is decent not great), it is the employees at this location that give me pause. To be frank, the customer service here is poor. If you do not have the phenotype that "looks" like you may purchase something-then no one will speak to you when you enter this location and no one will bother to give you friendly customer service (multiple occasions). Think Oprah situation in which a store employee in Europe told her she couldn't afford a bag she asked to see smh. This isn't the only store in which I sense that employees are really pretentious (I'm going to review them also *smiley face*). I'm not going to talk about how much money I make because it doesn't define my worth. I am a person just like other people and I deserve to be treated well when I'm shopping despite what I'm wearing or what assumptions anyone makes about my buying power. More importantly, I think everyone should stay humble and keep things in perspective. In our capitalistic society, most retail workers cannot afford to buy merchandise in the stores that employ them. If I could rate it a negative 5 stars I would! Hor-ri-ble!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. I received a damaged sofa 3 months ago and was promised an exchange. Nothing. I paid for the sofa in October 2018. I have sent pictures that they requested. I have called over and over to no avail....only told the exchange order was in process. I have been to the store where I purchased the sofa and stood in front of the assistant manager while she supposedly typed a long message to her superior regarding the matter. She gave me her card and I have never heard back from her (Jennifer at Perimeter Mall). Z Gallerie Customer Service is non-existent. They do not answer their phones AT ALL! You will remain on perpetual hold and if you enter a call-back number, no one will ever call you back. The last email I received said the sofa I purchased had been discontinued!!!! They asked if I would like an exchange of equal or lesser value. WTF????!!! It's been 3 MONTHS and only now am I told the sofa was discontinued and an exchange for my damaged sofa was never placed. I'M JUST A GIGOLO AND EVERYWHERE I GO... As I walked around this store, this is the song that played in my head. This is the decor that I imagine for a high class hooker or gigolo because it is just not practical nor does it make sense for the average person. While there are some very nice pieces in the store, they are just taken over the top and not really displayed in the most tasteful manner. The word gaudy comes to mind. The decor is very contemporary with lots of bling, mirrored dressers, glass tables, silver and gold decor splashed about. In order for them to appeal to a wider customer base, they should display their furnishings in a more practical manner because most people aren't living in "holiday bling" everyday. On the other hand, call girls and gigolos need love too. What can I say? It is not my thing, (I like leather, wood and metal), but someone will absolutely love this place! One thing that I don't like is half stuffed pillows that look as if they have been deflated. I believe that pillows should be plush and overstuffed. If you can't afford to fully stuff the pillows, don't sell pillows! I am giving them an A-OK because it is not so much about the products but how they are paired and displayed. Some of the items such as sofas and tables were actually very nice. They just need someone who can go in and re-stage their furnishings and decor. read more

I purchased a sofa and some accents from here. For the sofa, getting help wasn't bad. It's a very unique sofa and a conversation starter. it took 3 months to receive it because it was a custom fabric and color but when i got it, it was worth the wait. For much smaller stuff, you literally have to chase someone to get help. I would order online but they charge for shipping for most things. I would try the Atlantic Station store but it's a trek from where i live. The downfall of moving to the boonies :-/ Yes it's tacky but that's only if you decorated your house with ALL OF ZGALLERIE COME ON NOW! read more

I do not like to write negative reviews. This is my first but I feel the need to make others aware so they can avoid what I am going through. Online purchasing at Zgallery is a nightmare. I ordered a desk in Oct and today its 12/15/20 and I still haven't received it. I have spoke with customer service multiple times and they cant give me a clear answer. One time they claimed it when to the wrong delivery company so they reordered it. Now its sitting at another delivery company. When I offered to cancel my order they told me I would be charged a restocking fee. This is so infuriating! This is my second experience ordering from Z gallery. The first had a few hiccups as well. I have shopped at Z Gallerie for at least the last 10 years. I have purchased from their Atlantic Station Store, they have a location in South Florida that I've purchased from. The store is always decorated nicely and they have great decor pieces. So when it was time for me to get a new couch, I went to the Perimeter store which is close to my home. Service was okay, I had to seek someone out but when I found someone, I had already picked out a couch I wanted and just wanted someone to write me up with the color I wanted. My first complaint is the salesperson did not tell me how long it would take for the couch to arrive until I paid for it and it was on the receipt. I ordered the couch on September 7th. Thanksgiving comes, no couch, I called numerous times, It seems like there maybe one or two people in their customer service dept because on quite a new occasions I called and just got a recording to keep holding and I stayed on the phone while driving in my car. 45 minutes, no one picks up the phone. Probably on my 5th try someone finally comes on the phone, tells me it was on backorder (shouldn't someone have called or emailed me and told me this?) So here we are, 5 days before Christmas and still don't have the couch i bought Labor Day Weekend, what's wrong with this picture?? I'll never buy anything from them again and I will also tell all my friends NEVER PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM Z GALLERIE!!! When this couch finally gets here it better be in tip top shape or I'm going to raise all hell and I will not be calling customer service to do so. Horrible service!!!! I called this morning about an hour ago to confirm if this store had some items in stock. The associate answered, a bit of a rushed manner without her name. I said hello, as I was raised it to rude to just start with a question without greeting someone. I was proceeding to ask the associate's name, as I find it polite to inquiry with whom you are speaking with to thank them personally by name and throughout the interaction. I was in the process of asking her name, as I stutter, I was hung up on. I was taken aback. I called back and the same associate answered in the same way. I inquiried that I just called and was hung up on. She rudely asked what I needed. I asked her name, which was Pia, told to me by the mgr. I then asked to speak with a manager and she stated she was the only one in the store. I said that is not true, as being a previous retail manager, I know associates don't open stores alone. I then heard her hand the phone over and anther woman answered. I asked if she was the manager and she confirmed She was the store manager and her name was Shaun/Shawn. I explained to her what had just transpired with her associate and how I was just appalled by the whole discrimination of my stutter and the absolute rude behavior of the associate. I have not experience such rude and discriminatory service in my life such as this, this morning. I had just completed an order online and was calling to drive over 30 miles to this location to spend another couple of hundred, if not more. I'm just still speechless of how I was treated. I will say that Ms. Shaun/Shawn handled It in a professional manner apologizing and spoke to make it right before I hung up as I was extremely upset and disturbed by the whole experience yet that did not negate the treatment I just experienced by one of her staff members. I'm obsessed with Z Gallerie. Okay, yes, they aren't cheap. And yes, anytime you order anything to be shipped (like furniture) it will take eons to get to your house. BUT, they have just amazing stuff from furniture to drapes to pillows to accent decor to pictures to dining accessories to rugs to bedding to lighting. And everything just has a unique, sleek look to it. I would completely decorate my house in everything Z if I could afford it. My house already has a lot of cool stuff from there, and it's easy to decorate when you get their stuff because everything just pops and flows. If you can, pick up from the store to avoid delivery charges. And look for sales. Sometimes they will run 10-20% off on things. If you walk in their stores, you can also get a good idea for stuff to put together, because the store is decorated so nicely. The staff is pretty friendly, too. It's my go-to place anytime I want to add anything to my house decor. Truly, they have the best, modern furniture and decor out there! read more

the best place for eye candy and inspiration. when it comes to zgallerie, not many people actually come out of the store with anything. 1 out of 10.. maybe. but that's only because everything is priced for a 6 figure dough maker or some doctor. even when the items are on sale, it's not a great deal or some huge savings. 15-20% off is the highest deal they'll promote. talk about great savings. aside from talking about all the zgallerie stores in general.. this location is probably not the best. no one greets you upon entering. you're better off visiting west elm, pottery barn, or even pier 1. also, when you're wandering around the store, no one will offer assistance. the only time you'll see a staff is when they're passing you to go to the restocking room or the front register. sigh.. I do love window shopping here (yes, I do plan on buying something.. eventually), but I'll just have to try my luck at another zgallerie location. read more

ZGallerie has the WORST costumer service I have ever experienced. I ordered a table from you all on December 4. The moving company never showed up when they were scheduled, so I rescheduled and they told me pieces were missing to my table. I then refused the order. That was 3 weeks ago, and I still have not been refunded my money. I spoke to a store manager Kim Barton at the Atlanta store and LaChelle in customer service. Both people assured they could help me and have not. Kim never even returned my call after she gave me her card. I have been hung up on 3 times by customer service today. I am now about to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and I will NEVER purchase from you all again, and I will tell all everyone I know about your horrible customer service. read more

I bought a bedroom set 6 months ago and its already falling apart. The back is a flimsy piece of cardboard that is put together with glue and the whole thing just fell off. I also ordered a very expensive chair and when it was delivered it wasn't as ordered and they refused to return it. Customer service refused to work with me and I was treated very rudely. Stay far away from this store unless you have an extra 3 hours to wait for help and waste. I went to this store location to return decor that I purchased, it took close to 2.5 hours. I had to sit down and wait for the store clerk to assist a customer with an order while another clerk stood at his register and acted as if no one was waiting. Later, someone name Anna comes out of the back to assist with the return. She asked me to stick around in the mall while she "emailed" their accounting Dept in California! She then said she had to wait on an email reply back. What ever happened to good old customer service? Well it is non-existent at this place. They act so careless, boogie and unconcerned about anyone who doesn't appear to have a huge bank account! So disappointed because I love Z Gallerie products. The associate lied and said they did not have the capability to look up their inventory, I asked to speak with a manager she placed me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up the telephone. I called back ask to speak with a manager. Greg comes to the phone, raises his voice, talks over me, and suggest I call customer service.
