It seems like the quality of care varies from location to location, but this location nails it. For my first visit, my Honda's AC was blowing warm air. Their A/C assessment was cheaper than the lower end of quotes I got from nearby reputable indie shops by more than 1/3rd. A few days later, I had fluid, and all 4 pads & rotors for the brakes replaced. I appreciate their lifetime replacement guarantee on certain wear and tear items (brake pads in my case), which adds up. Having some knowledge of cars and sitting in their waiting room and being able to listen in on the service advisor Marco's conversations with other customers, this particular Midas doesn't seem to be trying to pull tricks or needlessly upselling customers. What surprised me most is that we've routinely had the vehicle serviced at Toyota, including regular oil changes, and none of these items were ever brought to our attention.
