Bad mechanics! I had issues after every repair. I would not recommend to anyone, go somewhere else.

I was nervous coming in for a tire change after the nightmarish reviews I had read about this…read moreplace, but gotta say I was pleased enough. It was a little inconvenient that they didn't do appointments and they needed a full day to get a tire change done, but that's mostly a limitation of their number of people working the service department, as I understand, so I don't hold it to them. They were transparent throughout the process and provided some guidance on other issues I've been having with the bike, even if they couldn't work on it because of it's age. Pricing is what it will be. Most shops charge between $90 to $110 an hour in my experience. They land somewhere in there as well. But they do it well, and I'm lead to believe that they would have charged less if I had taken the wheels off myself ahead of time (I brought the whole bike in). All in all, I had a pretty good experience here. Again, just got my tires changed, so I can't speak to anything much beyond that though. I should also note that I bought my own tires through a separate company, not through Free Ride. Some places will say they can't mount tires they haven't purchased for insurance reasons, not the case here. Cheers.

In addition to that every time I have been in there I have been ignored by their staff. I must look too young/poor to buy from them so they do not address me. I have seen nothing but bad reviews about their sales and service department. I plan to contact the state attorneys office.

I used this shop 3 times and each time had an issue…read more First time was for new tires and brakes. For my Triumph Explorer 1250. The Bike came back with the rear tire mounted backwards and on one of the front calipers both bolts were only finger tightened Next time was for a fluids change out of the Triumph Explorer, as well as new tires. This was supposed to take 2 days but took a week. The mechanics had no idea how to change the coolant fluid. They told me I had to find the maintenance manuals for them to do the job. I'm sorry but that's what your job is.. The bike was finally picked up a week later with out the coolant job done. 3rd and final time. I had a repair job for my Thruxton that was laid down. Minor repair work of a scratched tank and a few bolt on items. Mirror, clutch lever, shifter. The clutch wasn't adjusted so the bike wouldn't start (safety sensor) in position 3 or 4 on the clutch lever. The shifter was mounted incorrectly. Lastly the owner talked me into an air injector removal to get more performance. I agreed to do it while the bike was in. The AI removal job was a hack job. He removed the tubes and capped the taps but left the MAF sensors and pump sensor unplugged. This lead to a check engine light on that won't go out. Resistors need to be added for this to be done correctly. Now the Thruxton is at the dealer having the hack work corrected and overall checked over to make sure nothing else was missed. I can't stress enough what a terrible experience this shop has been each time. Malisa can't keep any timelines she promises and is rude. If you want your bike done right the first time Do Not Go Here!

**UPDATE*** After…read morethe initial sale... things just kept getting worse. They sold me a used bike with only one key and never told me there wasn't a spare. After I asked about it, they told me they could order another for me... but I'd have to pay for it (lame). I said okay, but they never got the KTM registration card from the previous owner, so they couldn't order another one. Ok, great! I asked if they could help out because when I call KTM, they said I would have to go through the dealer. After numerous attempts of asking my sales rep for help--nothing. After 5 or 6 attempts, I got tired of asking. So, I'm stuck with one key. Hope I never lose it! Another thing that sucks... Trojan claims that their used bikes go under inspection. However, when I got the bike there was an issue with the brake squeaking loudly when stopping. Turns out a pad needed to be fixed. The horn was also not working. So, they sold a used bike to me without even know the horn was shot? Which leads me to believe nothing was inspected and there could have been many things wrong or broken. They were cool enough to come pick up the bike and fix it for me after the sale. Wish it would have been taken care of before! Unfortunately upon delivery of the bike, I had new scratches on the tail that were NOT there prior. Assuming it's from the strap used to secure the bike in their truck during transportation to and from the dealership. The scratches are on both sides of the tail, exactly where a strap would sit. Never said anything to me. If they would have offered to fix it, I wouldn't be updating this review to a one star. But here we are. I also had asked them to email me a copy of my previous bikes odometer statement. I traded in my used bike... and instead of paying off the loan balance for me, they made me contribute $500... just to get more of my money. Since $5,400k for the used KTM wasn't enough. LOL! I said screw it because I was already at the dealership coming from an hour away. And I planned on getting a refund on my old warranty that could help cover that loss. After a few emails back and forth, I never got the copy of the statement. Frustrating sequence of events. Wouldn't do business with these guys again. If you want to buy a motorcycle, here's my advice: buy from a private seller. You'll get a better deal and more honesty.

A lot of people don't realize that powersports dealerships handle thousands of machines, parts,…read moreservice appointments, financing situations, and manufacturer issues. No business is perfect, but Monroe Motorsports has been serving riders since 1995 and has grown from a small warehouse into one of the largest powersports dealerships in the region. In my experience, the staff has always been willing to answer questions, help find the right things, and work hard to make things right when issues come up. The selection is incredible, with hundreds of motorcycles and vehicles available, which is something you don't find at average dealerships. It's easy to find negative reviews online because unhappy customers are often the most motivated to post. Even discussions online about dealerships point out that review sites tend to attract complaints more than routine positive experiences. If you're shopping for a bike, ATV, sxs, or other powersports vehicle, I'd recommend stopping by Monroe Motorsports and seeing the inventory and staff for yourself before judging based solely on online reviews.
