Zagg as a company is great but the Zagg representative specifically the rep Matthew at this location is very disrespectful. I still come to this location because it's the only one in the area but honestly I much rather take a drive to the store in DC. This rep decides to make his own rules countless times I have been to the kiosk and he has left the stand unattended with other customers waiting. read more

I haven't had many great experiences with the Zagg kiosk at Montgomery Mall but recently was the worst. A young man and woman were working there that I had never seen before. I asked where the usual guy was and they didn't know much. I had brought my ipad pro and my mom's ipad pro to get protective screens put on them. Immediately they said they had the screen for my mom's ipad pro 10.5 but didn't have the one for mine (an ipad pro 9.7)...then suddenly they had it. The guy started to try popping my ipad out of it's speck folio case mind you he was doing this wayyyy above the counter and I'm like you don't have to take it out to put a screen on....first clue this guy didn't know what the hell he was doing. He also had my ipad very close to a razor that was randomly sitting out...i moved it to protect my ipad from possibly getting scratched...next instead of using the cloth that comes with the screen protector he pulled some random cloth out from under the desk...i'm like don't you use the clean one it comes with?? I let that pass but the final annoying thing was that he kept getting super distracted each time a person came by the kiosk instead of asking them to wait while he finished mine...and finally my screen wasn't even lined up correctly so I will have to have it redone at another location :( read more

I fell on my phone while running and cracked my screen. Took it to Zagg at Westfield for convenience, got it back quickly... and woke up next day to the phone cracked again. It did not fall down, no idea how it cracked, but Zagg refused to fix again. Never had an issue with my screen before and can't conceive of it being anything other than bad screen repair since it did not fall down or otherwise do anything to crack. Huge disappointment. There's another repair place right next to it - I'd go there, or ubreakifix, which my husband went to and never had any problems with afterwards. read more

I typically like their service but not all of their associates are competent and respectful. After waiting in line I was not greeted or asked how I can be helped or anything and he just stood there. When I told him I want to change my screen protector (usually a 2min) process. He told me there will be an hour wait. I had no problem with that but I asked him why so long and he said "do you see all of the stuff here." I am used to whoever I speak with being able to just take my screen protector off and put it right on. It is a quick process so I don't know if he is even trained to do it or not but he could've simply said there are many other ahead of me. After that, I asked him what other protectors they have because I no longer want my glass one which cracks/scratches constantly, I asked him if the plastic one scratches/cracks and he replies in a sarcastic tone and says "it is plastic" that's when I asked him why does he have such a horrible attitude and I asked him his name multiple times and after the 3rd time he told me Jose which he may have been lying about. I then took my phone and left. Overall, I ALWAYS come here to replace my screen protector and I work in the mall and have pretty good service with all the other associates. I'm a sales associate so I value customer service and his was HORRIBLE. If you don't like your job or had a bad day please don't take your bad attitude out on the customer. Another great experience! I had to get my glass screen protector replaced after I chipped it. The replacement policy is more than fair and is the reason I chose Zagg. Markell is the reason I go to the kiosk in Montgomery Mall. Markell provided superior speedy specialized service once again. I typically have had a great experience with ZAGG. I visited this location and the customer service was terrible. I stopped by and there was note that read "bathroom back soon". I walked into LUSH, across the way, so I could kill some time while the associate got back. When I noticed he was back, I walked back over. He was on his cell phone and he didn't greet or make eye contact with me. I interrupted his phone conversation (about his apartment) to ask if I could have my screen replaced, and informed him that I was going to the car to get the screen. When I came back, he had yet another note that read "bathroom break back soon". I called the # to see if I could get a hold of someone and he answered and said he had just left 15 minutes ago for a lunch break, we took pictures of the sign stating "bathroom break." Another customer walked up and said last time she was here she waited an hour for someone to show up. So this just be typical behavior. Also, I guess when he goes on lunch break he leaves his Jeep Car keys on the counter. read more

My experience at the Zagg Kiosk was horrible, I ended up leaving without getting a screen protector. I asked for the HDX ($40) and the guy laughed and said what do you want that for? He told me I should get the glass protector ($50 and easier for him to install) but I explained why I wanted the HDX and he finally agreed. The employee then said it would be a 20 min wait and I could just leave. I told him I wanted to stay and he looked appalled, which seemed odd since there were 2 other customers waiting for their phones. After all of that, the employee took my brand new iPhone 6s put the sticky receipt straight on the phone and then proceeded to write on it before the screen protector was installed. I stopped him and he laughed so I asked for my phone back which he reluctantly did. I walked away while he looked at me like I was a crazy person for wanting to protect my investment. The experience made me wonder what he was planning on doing to my phone when I wasn't there. I might consider coming back on a day when this employee isn't present since my last Zagg experience was positive, but I was disgusted by the employee's lack of respect for my phone. read more
