The pizza and the sriranch! So delicious!! Will be coming here again and again! Love this place

We needed dinner with two kids at 830pm on a Saturday night, being out of town and in a hotel. I was so tired I could only think of Door Dash but I found Zalat there and we ordered a cheese, pepperoni basil with mushroom, and a cheesy bread. The siRANCHa sauce is DELICIOUS and reminds me of my local place's pink sauce. On Zalat's pizza boxes they ask you to order direct from the website which I wish I had done but I was in a Door Dash headspace and we were unfamiliar with the options in town. read more

Denton has never been really big on pizza, with only the basic franchises! But that just recently changed with a North Texas Based Pizza chain. ZaLat Pizza is outstanding their pizzas are east coast style thin and crisp and cheesy. I had the Loaded Notato which I do recommend, its like a pizza that's got the Texas taste too it a pizza that tastes like a loaded baked potato. I think this is the best pizza in all of Denton and trust me I've had them all love this place now part of my top 5 in Denton! read more

I love the pizza at Zalat in Denton. Different flavors and done really well. The only draw back is it's really pricey. We order two larger for our family and it's always about $50. So, yes, way better than your big chain pizza places.... is it worth the extra money... hmmm. Sometimes! The price keeps me from getting it regularly. There is almost no sauce on my meatza pizza which is where all the seasoning and flavor lays. I had to drench it in ranch just to eat it. It was a dry Flatbread and tough to eat. Would not recommend this place. read more

Unless you have a good hour to two hours to waste... Do not order from this place. They are so unorganized and are always behind the time they tell you it will be ready. Don't call in your orders because they will put you on hold for 20 or 30 minutes without blinking an eye. Picked up 3 pies for my brother's birthday. Easy online ordering process. We had to drive to his house 20+ minutes away and wait on my parents to arrive. If a thin crust pizza can hold up to that and still taste amazing a room temperature, that is impressive. They just opened in Fort Worth too and I need to try their other options. Best pizza I've had in Denton! We got the NYC pepperoni and despite the fact that it doesn't look like a true NYC pizza... that pizza was undoubtedly fantastic. Let me just say...the pizza itself was not terrible. However, I did think it was over priced as heck!!1! I asked the girl at the counter for absolutely NO CHIVES..verbatim! There were chives all over half of my pizza...and not the kind you can pick off!Cut up real tiny. I understand people make mistakes, but the girl at the register was very rude when dropping off my pizza to me while I was sitting outside. She dropped it on the table and said nothing....did not bring napkins. This place is bomb the pizza sauce HITS sum' different and the marg pizza is to die for. Absolutely LOST my wig in there, the gender neutral bathrooms are adorable and done in a positive, fun way. Small café-sized interior but many patio tables. Great location on fry, and good late hours too for THOSE nights when I'm tryna smack some pizza after I got ruined at the bars. this is what your idea of gourmet pizza is if you've only ever eaten dominos. somewhat better than frozen and their homemade dipping sauce is good (hence the extra star) but the price far exceeds the quality. if it was priced like dominos it might be 3 stars. they advertise that they include Sriracha with every pizza but our sriracha tasted suspiciously like franks red hot. must have run out. just stick to gods own pizza, Jonuzi's or if you're more about price, pizza hut is just as good as this lipstick on a pig excuse for pizza. read more

Recently tried this place because it was so close to campus! I ordered the veggie pizza. The dough was thinner than expected but very tasty. I loved the sirancha that came with the order! Definitely would order extra sauce next time, it was that good. read more

Zalat is one of my favorites in the Denton area. Great pizza! It can however take a really long time if they're busy.
