Great food exceptional customer service after a mistake on their end rosatis totally redeemed themselves by giving us a free order

We consider it a treat to get a Rosati's pizza as we have a 25 minute drive. It is a planned event as transplanted Chicagoans in DFW. However, as we experienced tonight- probably our last. The degraded quality of ingredients, lack of customer service, and general bad taste of the pizza itself is NOT a representation of Chicago. Not only did we receive the wrong pizza- they called the moment I walked back in the door to say as much- the original pizza was being kept 'warm' until I drove back for it. The box itself was indeed hot, can't say that for the pizza and nothing but an 'I'm sorry' from the teenager(?) at the counter. Accidents happen, but the pizza I did get was so overly salty it was not worth the drive back. read more

Do not speak English. Indians who can't even take an order in English!!!!!! Totally frustrating, will never order from them again. Had to cancel order mid conversation because the woman had no idea what she was saying. I'm from Chicago, where Rosati's was started. Totally ridiculous. read more

There is a new owner and I think the constistancy of the pizza has gone down a little but maybe the pizza is over cooked? I just don't know what happened that the pizza is not like a chicago style anymore. read more

You might wonder what takes a place to go from 5 stars to one? Look no further. Love hair baked into your stuffed pizza crust? How about when asking to talk to the owner, via phone, website request, you're ignored? I have no idea why people pay into owning a franchise, decide to cut corners on product and processes. The stuffed pizza today, xx pepperoni, ur lucky to see a single saucer per slice. Sauce on top looks like a can of crushed tomatoes were dumped on top. No seasoning, no heat, no flavor. This used to be our go to place for great pizza. Unfortunately, it has really gone downhill. Tried to order on their website but the validate credit card step never completes. Called in to order and the guy answering the phone had such a thick Indian accent I could barely understand him even though I have many Indian friends and colleagues and have been to India a dozen or more times. Asked to add 4 cannolis to my order. The person told me 40 minutes. Arrived after about an hour, pizza wasn't ready but they insisted that I pay now. Once the pizza was ready, they informed me that they only had 2 cannolis so I told them to forget them and refund my money. The guy who seemed to be in charge was rude to me about asking for the refund. Pizza was good but clearly, the owner doesn't care about this restaurant. My guess, it will be gone in the next year or two. read more

I should have learned my lesson by now. Chains advertising "Chicago Style Deep Dish" pizza outside Illinios that can deliver on that promise number eactly two: Giordano's and Pizza Uno. Rosati's is a Chicago original, but they franchise their stores. This is the only explanation I can come up with for why the deep dish pie I ordered was so forgettable. The other possible explanation is their Tavern Style pizza is better, also a Chicago style. Wikipedia says Rosati's Chicago has had deep dish on its menu since 1926. It does not reign on any lists of "best pizza in Chicago". Despite this, while in line to pick up my pizza, a woman from Southlake told me her Chicago native friend told her this was the best Chicago style pizza they'd recommend. Everyone has preferences, I suppose. You cannot dine here. So, everything is pick-up only. We tried a pasta dish as well. It was eh in a styrofoam container. I'd hoped for more. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. We ordered thin crust pepperoni - and put "pie cut" so that the pizza is cut in normal triangle cuts that adults can eat without feeling like they're in kindergarten. Despite putting CLEARLY "pie cut" - it is on the attached receipt - it came cut for toddlers. When I called to complain, I got rudeness, derision, attitude and dismissal from the manager on duty. Not only was he rude, but there was no offer to remake the pizza. When I asked if they would remake it, he said "only if you send the entire pizza back and it hasn't been touched. It will take an hour." My husband not wanting to wait to eat until 8:30 said never mind. When trying to eat the messed up pieces, the topping fell off with every bite. $50 for pizza and it's practically inedible, you can't pick it up like a normal slice. What freaking adult would eat this crap? Who came up with this as a method of slicing pizza anyway??? Why didn't they read the clear instructions? Don't waste your money. Rosati's in Flower Mound is a great choice for pizza and more! They have pizza, sandwiches, pasta, wings, and other delicious choices. My husband and I recently picked up take-out (no dine-in options) that included an Italian sandwich, a calzone, and a small cheese pizza. The food was all delicious! We found additional toppings to be a little pricey (no one wants a naked calzone). Note: This location is at the corner of two busy, divided streets, and it can be tricky trying to figure out how to get in and out of the parking lot. And whoops! Placed an order for pizza and wings online-and they charged my card 50.00, I called and spoke with a a So Called manager Jason as he was rude and unprofessional. He claimed he had no order online, and yelling at me. I said well you charged my 50.00 when the bal was 41.00, he yelled and stated he didnt have an order and refused to assist. I will be calling corporate, had previous issues where I called in a order for wings extra crispy as they told me it was ok, when I received them, they were raw! Im done with the place. read more

Terrible customer service!!! Call to place an order at 8:31 PM and was told no longer taking orders because they close at 9 PM. They stated it was still 30 minutes till closing and he said that they close the kitchen 30 minutes before closing and would not be taking my order. We proceeded to place our order at the Lewisville location since they close at 10 PM. This time my husband called back on accident thinking he was calling the Lewisville location. We'll to our surprise, they took his order!!! Upon arrival I asked to speak to the manager since they took my husband's order and the sign on the door says they're open till 10 PM!! We would order from them weekly but customer service has changed along with the quality of food with the new owners! I will TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE and recommend you do the same!! We ordered online yesterday. And didn't think we would have to call to confirm but we should have. Got to the place and no pizza. We got apologies and another 30 minute wait to make the ordered and paid for pizza. They wait was a pain!! But they did give a free cannoli!! Which was amazing. Now on to the review of the actual pizza. Omg!! So good. So freaking amazing. We got a thin crust supreme and it was out of this world !! If you're from TX or your idea of pizza nights growing up was ordering Pizza Hut or Domino's....I cannot trust your opinion of Chicago pizza restaurants. If you've read of my other reviews you know that I'm a midwesterner from right outside Chicago and grew up eating thin crust, party cut pizza that was never bad. I have been trying to find edible pizza in DFW for the past 10 years. I have tried a handful of Chicago style pizza places, even some with Chicago names and all of them were terrible. I've come close with one pretty good pizza place that's not even Chicago style. Frustrated, I was just about to start getting mail order pizzas from Chicago like I do my popcorn. I was skeptical that Rosati's was just using the name, especially when I saw the logo on the website was slightly different from the logo on the websites from the Midwest. However, I saw some of the wrapping papers with the same logo that is used in the Chicago area and accepted that it might be authentic. The next test was the pizza. It smelled right on the way home. That familiar cardboard and pizza combination brought back some memories. I decided to go with a deep dish...not something I normally get but I'm a greedy pregnant lady right now. I got my mom a thin crust. This is it! The sauce, toppings, and crust were on point. Nothing was under seasoned or over seasoned. Everything was just right. My deep dish was felt more like a crustless pizza in the middle with a lot of crust on the end because the filling makes the crust soft in the middle. The filling was perfect though. You can see the seasonings sprinkled on top of the tomatoes. The sauce is great! My mom said her pizza was mmmmmmgoood, but requests that the cheese not be so brown next time. Flower Mound is kinda of a journey, but I will travel for good pizza. If they could come to the Euless area they will have a biweekly customer. read more

Had a bit of a mixup due to a coupon misunderstanding and Rosati's went above and beyond to make it right. The pizza was delicious (thin crust this time,) hot when delivered, and perfectly hit my pizza craving tonight. The wings and cannolis were delicious as well. The Flower Mound Rosati's Pizza makes the best Chicago Cheese Deep Dish pizza. When I called and spoke with the order taker I was skeptical. in the past I have had some pizza restaurants really burn what is supposed to be a 'butter crust'. I must say I was more than pleasantly surprised when their kind delivery driver brought me my pizza. Guess what? Rosati's in Flower Mound did not burn my crust to a crisp. I could actually eat my Chicago Deep Dish crust this time! And both the crust and the pizza were delicious! And as a bonus, I have several days of yummy left overs in my fridge . First time trying Rosati's and sadly I am extremely disappointed. Not worth the $70.00 that was spent on our meal tonight. We ordered a deep dish that had crust that was not cooked all the way threw and was gooey on the inside, our thin crust pizza was more appetizing but it was very greasy, then ordered 20 plain wings that were not appetizing AT ALL. When we called to let them know about the wings the employ who took our call, said they would contact the owner and give us a call back, but we never received that call back... Not sure about the negative reviews but I found this location to be quite good. My wife and drove about 20 mins to this Rosatis to get pizza for us and our boys. It was really good and fresh. Honestly no complaints at all. It just seems hard to find good pizza in the area. The Lewisville location however is NOT recommended. We used to eat there and found they had a roach problem. So understand this is the Flower Mound location that is indeed recommended I am reviewing. Again the pizza was pretty good. Sure I have had better. We had pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms. It was cooked right and not too much sauce. I do think extra cheese would make it better so I next time that is something I would order. Give them a try! read more

I've eaten here a half dozen times in the past few years and it was always great. Our order last Saturday, the pizza was burnt to a crisp, basically inedible. We were given the wrong dessert, tiramisu instead of a brownie. Tiramisu containing espresso, we were unable to feed this to the kids after dinner. We tried calling the store. First they let it ring and ring, then they started picking up the phone and hanging it up immediately, on every call. I am not sure how this place stays in business. The Chicago style pizza was a flavorless lump of plain crust, a huge amount of cheese and plain canned tomatoes. I can honestly say that this the worst pizza I've ever had. The crust had no flavor it tasted like flour and water. The pasta had a marinara that had a strange flavor, I wish I could describe the flavor. It wasn't good either. The kids they had working there were very nice. I hate to write bad reviews. However, this place has lost its way. I normally like to take complaints up with management. Unfortunately, when I called to resolve my issue they hung up on me. Frustrating! So here I am to warn y'all. My kids love the Chicago style deep dish. We have been a customer for years. This summer quality has taken a turn for the worse. This last, and I do mean LAST, delivery was disgusting and had to be discarded. The crust was an undercooked mess. The sauce and cheese all drifted to one side and off the pizza. Clearly, the pizza had been dropped or mishandled. The mozzarella sticks must have been microwaved. They were rubbery, smashed, and broken. Avoid. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza for the first time this evening. It was not good. The pepperoni and sauce was piled around the corners and then all of the cheese was thrown in the middle of the pizza. We only ate a few pieces. The breadsticks were delicious though. read more
