Yup, I went back for a second chance, but it still failed me. I grabbed 2 pair of pants to try and when I was done with the fitting room, I walked up the associate that was standing there singing, to hand her the pants and she turns away from me and kept singing. The associate behind her had to rush over to grab the pants from me. It was seriously a WTF moment. I wanted to return a purchase I made, the NEXT day, only to find out that the receipt was not put inside the bag after I initially asked to swap for a smaller bag at the store. Then he said "someone" has to be responsible for the missing receipt, by putting the blame on me for losing it!! He also refused, when asked if it's possible to do an even exchange. This is indeed an exceptional poor customer service rendered from a management level for a national retailer. And it reflects on Zara for this location. I spend a great amount of shopping at Zara, only to be given such poor customer service from this so-call General Manager, "Kit" !!! Rather it's the dressing room or to the cashier. they should really hire more people to work at the cashier. there were only 2 people working at the cashier when there were 18 people waiting in line. And the problem is they have more people working on the floor than at the cashier. I also don't understand why they have more people on the floor because the place was still very messy and no one was even folding the clothes. If u guys really wanna buy anything from the clearance section. Have to be careful w/ those clothes has stains or anything else on the item and let the cashier know at the time when u purchase it! That way they could write down a note on ur receipt if later on U decide to not keep it. Because they just wanna sell it to u to get rid of them ASAP! They should have told u that there's something about the item! But they don't really pay any attention on the item! And the solution will vary depends on which manager assists u. Some will just deny ur refund and pass u to customer services which is useless. Some will try to remove the stains if it goes away they will still refund it for u. Anyways good luck read more

It's unfortunate that a company that portrays itself as company that cares for the people and earth treats it's customers poorly. This is a corporate issue on return policies during COVID that they claim there is no lead way to return. I work in this industry, and there is nothing written in stone that doesn't allow you to accommodate customers who choose not to leave their house for returns during COVID. I bought a pair of pants in size 0 on accident which I wear a size 2. I came to get the size 2 and was gonna purchase a few other items. When I walked up to the register I told the girl I'm exchanging these for a size larger and buying these two items. She then asks me if I wore the pants and I told her no. That's why I'm exchanging them. She then tells me next time Dont bring pants in side out cause it makes me think you wore them. I then told her clearly I haven't. The tags are on them. She then tells me well you can take the tags off and put them back on. Wow!!!!! Where is her customer service. I have never been anywhere where you can't return pants inside out. How does that show I wore them??? And then to tell me I can put the tags back on. I was offended cause she made me feel like I was lying. Then she asks me am I exchanging these pants? well clearly cause that's what I just said!!! If I need to return pants not inside out, Then maybe they should state that on the recipient!!! I tried the pants on for Christ sake!!! I asked to speak to the manager and she just stared at me with a blank stare as I told her the situation. No I'm sorry. I understand. NOTHING ! I asked for their corporate number and she gave me a customer service number and I asked for the employees name. She wouldn't give it to me. Never heard of that. You should always give the name. I called customer service and they agreed she should have given me her name and did tell me that it's no where on their policy I need to not bring pants inside out! This store has poor customer service. I made a purchase 2 weeks ago. I wanted to return a vest (with the tags still attached). The male cashier thoroughly inspected it inside & out before initiating the return. This made me feel dirty. He asked if I had my American Express. I did. I entered the card & was told it was the wrong card. I have two Am. Ex. cards, one is the Everyday & the other Platinum. I asked, "Can't you just issue it on this card or call American Express! He said No. I called American Express when I arrived home & the representative said they can issue the return to either card. Zara's LACK of customer service will now cost me 1+ hours of time driving to & from the mall. I AM INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED WITH ZARA'S CUSTOMER SERVICE. The employees here made my shopping experience a horrible one. They were about to close and I was still browsing around while my friend waited in line for us and I kept getting stares from all the employees. One employee looked at me and instead of asking if I needed any help (like an employee anywhere else would), she said "yeah hi, the registers are closing." It made me feel so uncomfortable and annoyed. I totally understand that the store is closing soon, however it hasn't and as a person who has worked in retail I always tried to be polite with customers because at the end of the day I was still getting paid for being there. This Zara store is inside Westfield Santa Anita in Arcadia. There are parking but you have to drive around for at least 30 minutes. This review is for Zara's poor quality boot and lack of available sizes. I bought a pair of Zara boots for about $50. It was the only pair on display. I asked a salesgirl for a pair from the back. She sent me to the dressing room to wait. But no one took her her to look for my size. The salesgirl wanted me to pay full price for a pair of boots that was dusty and on display. I did not want to wait. So I reluctantly bought a pair of Zara boot that was dusty from the floor. So expensive shoes don't come in a shoebox either. After I wore it for a few hours, something in the Zara boot was hurting my leg above my angle. By the time I unzip my boots to look, I had a large open skin cut. The Zara boots that I paid about $50 was defective. It's not that it is fake leather and made in China, but it was poorly stitched. My final action, I returned it to another Zara store. The manager took it back. The salesperson told me that he is aware of many defective Zara products. The salesperson put on a Zara tag and probably will put it on the floor for sale. read more

This store is pretty ample. The customer service here is good not great but not bad. The only negative complaint I have about this location are two things. The customers here seem to have a sense of entitlement, also always making a mess and making it harder for the rest of us to shop around. The second would be the long lines. I wish they would have more registers opened. I don't understand why people want to be catered to knowing how many people shop here. I bought a suit for my son online and he tries it . He wants to return it and the cashier said that she can't accept because there's a "stain "on jacket. The manager, Robert, would not accept the suit which he claims there's a stain. Then I have to go to the store again to return . For a Zara store, I felt like this one wasn't as great. Service seems OK. They had pretty good customer service bite hen their wifi service went down and you can only pay cash that's bad for your business. That's where my critic comes in. Zara is located inside Santa Anita mall which is a pretty busy mall on a Friday night. I went in and saw a cute shirt I wanted to get. When I lined to ready to pay, they told us that they are only accepting cash. I didn't have enough cash on me so it's either I wait to not buy. I decided to just wait a little. After 20 mins of waiting I couldn't do it anymore. I decided not to wait and just purchase online. I feel like stores should try to have backup plans with something like this happens. Wow. A bad shopping experience can really put a damper on your day. Went to the zara men's store this afternoon. An etremely rude manager... small thin female who was middle eastern, made it very difficult to find the style we were looking for. They did not have the right size and she refused to call the glendale store to put it on hold. She said that it was on sale so she was not allowed to call them about it. We asked her to find a size that their computer showed they had but she never even went to the rack on which the style was hanging to look. After fifteen minutes she came back and said she looked everywhere. But we watched her literally look nowhere. The style wasnt even on sale in the store. There's some nice clothing in here but wow everything else is ridiculous. 1- We're waiting to purchase our item and there's a new cashier and a "manager". Instead of opening a new one, said "manager" is standing around folding clothes and wasn't until the machine froze where they decided to open the other register to once again only have 1 working register 2- didn't notice this until we came home and the wife was like oh this was on sale cuz of the sticker. We pulled back the sticker and saw that the blouse cost 9.99euro. Doesn't take a genius to realize the $15.90 USD we paid is much higher than the euro to usd conversion even after adding freight and duty cost. Unless it really cost them $4/item which means either my company is really logistics savvy or they are changing is more for being American. Go figure read more

Hey look! The new two-story Zara is finally open. It is nice and spacious with a Men's and Children's department on the second floor. (Some Zaras don't have kids?) Also, it has its own escalator inside, which I like riding up and down in befuzzlement. The best Zara in the San Gabriel Valley because the one in Old Town is very small. This was my first visit to Zara in a few years. The store was having a sale. I bought a couple shirts for work and a couple belts. The total was just over $50 not including tax. I personally thought that was a great deal considering the original price for one shirt was $35. None of the store employees helped me which didn't bother me. The men's department (second floor) was somewhat in disarray but I knew what I was looking for and I'm not one to browse every single rack. I noticed the most common negative comment on Zara is the lack of service on the part of employees and long lines for checkout, returns, etc. I've visited a few Zara stores in Spain (which is home to Zara) and let's just say the service culture there is quite frankly a lack of sense of urgency for the customer. Because every Zara store I visited in Spain was the same: two employees working the registers with 10 customers waiting while other store employees would walk around "looking busy" and glance over at us thinking "I'm glad I don't have to work the register." When I walked into the Zara in Arcadia today, I remembered my experience in Spain and know I'm going for the moderately priced clothes and not stellar customer service. read more

Then when the c machine did not read my chip, he profusely tapped on the swipe part of the machine,signaling me to swipe instead very rudely like I dont know how to operate a card machine. I usually love Zara, enjoy their simple and chic designs at affordable prices. However the customer service I experienced today was pathetic to say the least. I may not appear to have a million dollars but they could have had the decency to say greet any of the customers. I was in the Men's upstairs department going to purchase a couple shirts, I was unsure if they had a size and not one associate that passed by me ( 6 in total) smiled or asked if I need any assistance. To have as many people upstairs and not one person to have any sort of interest in helping anyone around is completely unacceptable and will never shop here. I happened to shop at this location yesterday. An associate was folding clothes next to the cashier, I asked him can I check out, he told me no, then he turned around and continued folding clothes, I didn't know that men's cashier closed and I had to go to kids' cashier until I found another associate after walked around the entire store for serval times. The cashier didn't greet or have any eye contact, while checking me out, she was talking with a girl whom seems to be the supervisor.
