Due to unexpected circumstances we lost my father-in-law who knew everything about anything recently. With your world still spinning from that you forget about day to day life. My mother-in-law in a panic yesterday explained she doesn't know how to work their boiler! Don't get me wrong YouTube can put people through college but with both of her sons working the next day and me not wanting to start a fire I called Zark's. Everyone in Manhattan always suggest them I figured what do I have to lose, they work on older houses?! Omg the SWEETEST AND INCREDIBLY NICE lady named Nicole, answered the phone. She was giving me different dates (a week or so out which I expected) and then she stop and said, "Wait let me see what I can do..I'll call you back." Not even long enough to call my husband back to tell him, she called. "Can you be there today? I have a technician!" (And the angels came down and sang a song) "Of course!!" She made it happen and she sent the nicest man named Bill out. He was so patient with my mother-in-law (who was in and out of tears upset she didn't pay attention all the other times) and myself. He helped me label the pipes even let me take a video because sometimes I forget lol. He must of ask a handful of times is there anything else? Even gave us some things to watch out for and trouble shoot. I honestly could not be so thankful for this company! Our 75 gallon hot water heater, 13 years old, was leaking in the basement. We drained it so it wouldn't flood overnight and the next morning started the task of looking for a plumber. Another problem was that our heater was attached to the radiant heat for the basement floor. We were told by plumbers to look for a heating company that knew about boilers...a pretty specialized task. I searched for "boiler heat" on Facebook and found Zark, which had 81, 5-star reviews. We called at 11am and Rob asked us to take pics of our setup so he could get a better idea of our special issues. Rob said he could come over at 3pm and that we'd have hot water by the end of the day. I can't say enough about our experience with our new water heater and hook-up to our radiant heat...Rob was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, fast (he was out the door by 5:45) and Zark HVAC was (fortunately) affordable on top of all that. Rob is also a really friendly, nice guy who even accommodated my 9 year old nephew who brought down his new toolbox after school to "show the guy" his tools. It was 7:45 p.m. Saturday night, 17 hours before my daughter's baby shower and my house was 65° and dropping. I contacted Zark who graciously did a little bit of troubleshooting through text first. He soon realized it was most likely a dirty flame sensor and came to the house. The problem was diagnosed and fixed within 30 minutes. What should have been approximately $400 for an emergency visit, weekend visit, and repair was only $255. They allowed me to sign up for their maintenance plan and receive the benefits immediately. With the plan I will also get a furnace cleaning now and an air conditioner cleaning in the spring. The temperature was about 10° and the next day's forecast was -11°. So instead of finding a place for my daughter, my cats, and me to stay, packing everything up to get ready for the shower, packing up the food and gifts, I was able to stay in my nice warm toasty home thanks to Zark! read more

Your employee, was one of the most honest, dedicated individuals I have ever come across. His hard work should not go unnoticed, and his dedication to the company. I thought when I first called you, I would need a new air conditioning unit. But instead your employee cleaned, replaced a part and rewrapped my cable connected to my home.
