We went on a Saturday and it took a long time for the food to come out. The mutton chops were slightly too burnt. The beef shawarma patties were decent. Both curries were got were good.

A clean and spacious sport with a wonderful ambiance - perfect for a get-together with family and friends. A side Falooda bar was a fun.

We ordered the special grill which came with a variety of meat options and 2 pieces of garlic naan. It's a good way to try a variety of kebabs. My favorites were the mutton chops and the chicken malai. There was plenty of food and could easily be shared among 2-3 people. Service was quick and attentive!

My friend wanted to try this place out so we went here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. There's plenty of parking and the menu is QR code. I ordered the chicken skeeh kebab. My friend ordered kharai chicken. My food came pit pretty quick but my friend's dish took a while. I think they forgot about his order. He had to go to the counter to ask about the dish.

Amazing, tasty, spicy, super flavorful. Liked the addition of the fresh cilantro and red onion. Will have to try again with Naan or paratha to get the full experience.

Zaviya Grill is awesome and one of the few places where you can get Pakistani cuisine in the greater Austin area. The issue for me was always the service and it has improved a lot from before! Our go to's are goat biryani, goat karahi, chicken qorma, & halwa puri (weekends only). One biryani order is good enough for two people. Finally, the curries include white rice on the side! Have tried one of the mixed grill platters. It was a bit dry but good overall. I've definitely had better though. Last time we tried buffet was 2019 and it was really good...the mixed vegetables and the spicy fried chicken were my favorites after the biryani. I am not sure if they still do buffet during the weekdays. They do catering with super reasonable prices. I am super thankful for Zaviya Grill. Next on my to-try list is the goat brain masala!

Delicious food!!! I had the Chicken Malai Boti which was the most flavorful chicken I have ever had. The garlic naan and the plain naan were so fresh and unbelievably flavorful. We also had the Chana Masala which was a bit too spicy for me but was still good. When I had a forkful of the charred onions with the Chana Masala and rice it was perfection in my mouth. I have to say I was a bit reluctant to go because I wasn't sure if I would like anything. What a pleasant surprise!! Very clean too!!!

I think the prices here were affordable compared to other places. We came during dinner time, so it wasn't a buffet. I like the garlic naan. It wasn't too greasy. I also ordered the chicken Biryani, butter chicken, and chicken kahari. The chicken biryani was hot and good flavor. The rice was decent, but it could be softer. The butter chicken had a kick of spice to it. The chicken kahari meat was really soft and the curry was good with naan.

We had the chicken pakoras deep fried in a chickpea batter. Great healthy flavor. A side dipping sauce of chutney accompanied the starter nicely. We also tried the Vegetable pakoras with potato and onion. Fresh and crispy. The Yellow Daal Curry had nice flavor of Indian spices, onions, cumin, and coriander. It tasted fresh and healthy. We order with jasmine rice for all of our dishes. Light and fluffy. Very nice portions. The chicken Tikka Masala was not the typical flavor. It was more spicy than creamy and being totally honest they need to re-do this recipe. I have had this dish tons of times and the flavor is totally off. It wasn't bad pre se, just not typical flavors of the dish. I would love to see them re-do this one please! Then let me know and I will come back. It would be so nice as this is my favorite Indian dish. Last we tried the Coconut Curry. We chose to include chicken. I think this was my favorite dish. Lovely fresh coconut flavor and the potatoes were so good! oh...and don't forget to get yourself some garlic naan. Yum Yum. A great place to gather for lunch or dinner with friends and family. As an Indian person myself, I can confidently say the food here is very authentic and reminds me of the flavors my mom cooks with. It's also filled with Indian families and customers, which is always a good sign that the food is the real deal! On my visit, I ordered the egg curry and a dosa, and both were excellent. The egg curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, while the dosa was fresh, crispy, and delicious. They also have a wide variety of vegetarian options, so there's something for everyone. The food tasted fresh, the portions were satisfying, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, this is one of the better places in Austin for authentic Indian food. Out of all the places nearby, Sangam stands out the most to me. This place is ALWAYS busy from open to close, every day of the week, and after eating here for years, it's easy to understand why. You can literally smell the fresh curries from the nearby HEB. The aroma alone makes you hungry. We've been coming since they first opened, and it's been great watching them continue to improve and expand the restaurant over time. The staff is attentive, friendly, and constantly checking in to help with orders or anything else you need. We've tried a huge variety of dishes over the years. Several curry's such as the Chettinad special curry, butter chicken, tikka masala, chicken 65, several biryanis, all consistently delicious. One of my personal favorites is the plain dosa and curry combo, which comes with four different chutneys that are all fantastic. Even my young son loves coming here because they have things like shrimp noodles and fried rice that are kid friendly while still tasting great. We used to mostly order to-go, but lately we've started dining in more often because the experience itself is so enjoyable. Service is quick, the atmosphere is comfortable, and I really appreciate the details. The artwork and photos on the walls, the music, and the lighting that isn't overly bright. They even dim it more in the evenings, which makes it feel even more relaxed and welcoming. Every visit has been a great experience for our family. Easily one of our favorite restaurants in the area.

Parking is plentiful right in front of the restaurant. We came by on a Saturday around 1 PM, worried it might be packed, but it was actually pretty quiet. You can sit anywhere you like, grab a plate, and pay when you're done. The space is large and open, with three full rows of food and drinks plus a dedicated station for fruit and desserts. Everything was fresh, not overly salty, and there were plenty of options. My favorites were the hummus with eggplant (so flavorful with great texture), the salad and cucumber salad (fresh and refreshing), the dolma (perfectly done), gyro (tender and tasty), baked cauliflower (so good), fried chicken (juicy, crispy, and not salty), falafel (extra crunchy), and the lentil soup (simple but delicious). And don't miss their coffee at the checkout--it has a hint of warm spice and is the perfect finish after a meal. Surprisingly, I ended up loving the vegetable dishes even more than the meats. Overall, yes, $26 per person is on the higher side (what doesn't cost these days, right?!), but it's a great spot to try a variety of Mediterranean dishes that are fresh, simply seasoned, and let the ingredients shine--perfect whether you're new to the cuisine or just want a bit of everything.

Cute of us, honestly. We pulled up and that parking lot looked like Beyoncé was performing. Cars everywhere: on the grass, on the curbs, people creating their own imaginary parking spaces. People circling like it was Black Friday. Absolutely not. We left with no backup plan and even less hope. Pulled up Yelp and I remembered that Dimassi's buffet had been on my radar for months, but was it open? Called them up and CHA-CHING!!! Money! They were open, guys. That phone call felt like hitting the lottery. Thanksgiving was saved. We arrived and Dimassi's was calm, clean, and the buffet bar was fully stocked with hot food fresh out of the kitchen. They had your Mediterranean favorites: dips, salads, gyro meat, dolma, chicken kabobs, saffron rice, the good garlicky toum, warm potatoes, fresh pita, everything. They even prepared a turkey for patrons who wanted some. Wow. They understood the assignment. Now a couple things could be tweaked. I like my baba ganoush served warm...and maybe they could have had some lamb options? But, honestly? For a buffet on Thanksgiving at $23 a person ($9 for the 3 yr old with us), they delivered HARD. Dimassi's didn't just feed us...they rescued us from the Golden Corral Hunger Games. Thank you for being open. Thank you for coming through in the clutch. You saved Thanksgiving.
