Pretty bad Zaxbys at this location. Trash all over the floor. Wrong size lids for the drinks. Ordered a salad and they didn't include the dressing in our to go order. They were out of ketchup. The Food I tried the Big Zax Snak Meal with Chicken Tenders, Texas Toast, Crinkle Cut Fries, and Sweet Tea. It's really a combo meal and not really snack...it was filling. The tenders were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. They were meaty enough, but not really big. The fries were cooked up crispy and dusted in a seasoning salt. It comes with Zaxby's sauce that seems to be a mayo based with worchesteshire flavor. I also paid an extra quarter and had some of their mild wing sauce. The wing sauce was better than the "house" sauce. The sweet tea was good. The Place It's weird to sit in a nice and clean place in Hickory Hollow. The whole area is pretty lame these days, but Zaxby's is a rose among thorns. The staff is very friendly and upbeat. The Verdict I will be back if I can't make it over to McDougals. read more

I eat here often and it is usually really good and consistent. I have never had good customer service and today wasn't any different. They advertise Coca-Cola freestyle drinks, I ordered a Mello Yello Zero and the lady taking my order said "we have that in the dining area but not for the drive-through." I guess I could have went in but seems to me she would have take a few steps to fulfill my order. I've never been to Zaxby's before but, decided to go after my family recommended it. I ordered Wings n Things. Everything was good but, I thought the chicken tenders were very small compared to the ones on the menu picture. But my two stars really go to customer service. The young lady at the register was not pleasant. No smile, no greeting when I approached the counter or anything. Also, my sister is a vegan and the employee gave her so much attitude because she wanted to take a few things off the salad she ordered. Really? If you don't want to deal with customers, don't work somewhere that requires you to give CUSTOMER service. Asked for barbecue sauce even knowing I would have to pay extra. I did NOT receive barbecue sauce or any ketchup for my fries. Then the guy in the drive thru window destroyed the lid to my soda cup. ordered drive thru and took 37 minutes even tho i was the 3rd in line staff was friendly but my food was cold, wings were the wrong sauce & were hard to bite.. drink tasted like water. This location hasn't messed my order or made me wait a long time. IT IS NOT IN THE HOOD as some other reviewer put it. Yes, a lot of businesses have left the area. It is not due to crime. This location is clean and safe for the family. Traffic is somewhat erratic at times, and I don't use the drive-thru. They don't have a cheapskate menu so bring at least $7 if you plan to grub. read more

I must say the food quality is always pretty good. It's the service that's lacking, at least in our last few visits. The last visit, got the grilled cobb, asked for 2 different dressings, and got neither. Since it was a drive thru, too far to go back. When I've filled out the survey online, I never hear from anyone to make it right. My son was short a wing on his wings and things. I wasn't going to drive back. The staff could also be friendlier. This Zaxby's store is such a rip off. Zaxby's in general is already somewhat expensive compared to other wing restaurants that are usually better anyway. Anyways, if you go to this Zaxby's then be ready to pay the original price for the wings, but only get tiny little chicken nubs (not real wings) just thrown in the box with a little bit of sauce on them. I eat here pretty often. Food is usually pretty consistent; it is, at least for me, a convenient location that feels safe. My order has almost never been less than 100% correct in the drive thru, though they don't do so well when I come in face to face with them as I have had to correct things the past few times in a row coming in. Overall, though, a good place to eat with problems being the exception and definitely not the rule. read more

I am really glad that they put a Zaxby's in my neighborhood. Food is delicious and always fresh. Establishment always decent... Only problem I have is that every time I go there to order the staff is always missing something, whether its a drink, one zax sauce, or even a plain old fork, very irritating. They never fail to forget something. When it first opened, the staff was GREAT! Everyone was nice, helpful, and they never missed a beat. Seems like there are quite a few new faces when I go there, and they are never as cheerful as when they first opened. Food is great but the extensive wait times are truly ridiculous.....the service speed is in need of work.

We went through the drive in last night 9-13-16. There were about 10 cars in front of us. We got to the speaker in about 15 mins. After we placed our order it took us 37 mins to get our food. We pulled up to the window and watched 6-7 employees goofing off behind the counter, singing, dancing around, laughing. They had no concern for the fact that their drive through was a total log jam. There were no customers in the dining room so I couldn't understand why the kitchen was so backed up. After sitting at the window for about 10 more mins our food came out. It was cold. I have no idea how it could take that long to put three chicken finger dinners in boxes when the food was apparently sitting in the kitchen for quite some time. Then we drove 3-4 miles down the road and passed the Brentwood location and there was not a single car in line. I'll never go there again. No apologies from them and they even forgot to put slaw in one of the dinners and we didn't get the extra sauce we paid for. read more
