SSLP (sweet and sassy lemon pepper)

So I've had their wings and fries twice now, and I can say they don't disappoint! I'm excited to find my new favorite wing spot that's minutes away from my home. I ordered the sweet and sassy wings and the SSLP (sweet and sassy, lemon pepper). Both were delicious. But the true star is the cajun ranch fries, they're to die for! I ordered them both times I went. When you go there, you must try these, you won't be disappointed! Can't wait to go back and order from them again!

This has to be the only good wing place in Antioch are close to it! Unless you're really tired of having to go to East and North Nashville to get good wings! Even though everybody prefers the Sweet and Sassy the lemon pepper cajun were really good! They were my favorite! The Buffalo fries were good as well. They just need to melt the cheese before adding the buffalo sauce! I saw they had a fish sandwich on the menu. Definitely going back to checking that out! The beverage selection really sucks. It's only regular Coke Sprite blah blah blah. This is Nashville and the dirty south! Let me get some sweet tea some mango tea some fruit punch tea! And since you're located in the Plaza Mariachi... let's get some Aqua de Fresca! I'm always down for some mango juice or lime cucumber juice! Now the staff is super friendly! So if it's your first time visiting they'll even help you create the order so that you're not overpaying. I thought that was super helpful! Awfully kind and thoughtful! Special mention.. Tuesday nights are 69 cent wings!

I got a Yelp alert to try this place and I'm glad I did. It's been my go-to wing spot in 2020. My first time in the lovely lady working the register let me try their sauces and some fries. My normal order is a ten piece lemon pepper fried hard with fries and the fries are sooo good. I went recently on a Tuesday and was happy to see they have a $0.69 wing deal! They have plenty of space to sit if you want to dine in, but I usually call ahead and pick up within 15 minutes. You won't be disappointed!!

9/14/2023 - This place was a pleasant surprise. It was late and we were hungry. The food was good, and the flavor combinations were insanely GOOD! Although it was busy, the staff was attentive. I would definitely suggest the Hot Lemon Pepper catfish. It was soooo good! The ambiance matched the theme of the restaurant. We went on a Saturday so there was a DJ. It didn't bother us though. It was fun.

Go here!!! We needed somewhere to get wings that wasn't a chain. I'm so excited that this place opened. They have the standard wing flavors yet also fun and exciting ones. The fries are delicious also. $69 cent wing Tuesday!?! Y'all should be flocking here. The associate that helped us found out that it was our first time and gave us a sample plate of the sauces. Incredible service.

Our 1st visit to this establishment and it was very, very good. We called ahead to ask if they were allowing you to sit inside & also inquired about the wing flavors. The responses to both were positive and really made us want to stop by. We ordered the sweet and sassy wings and they were awesome. The restaurant was very clean and the service was quick and professional. They also allowed us to sample the sauces before ordering. We will return

This place is amazing for your wing needs and reminded me of the places back home in Atlanta where I would say most wings are consistently good there as it is a backbone of Atlanta culture. Which is what I've been setting my standard to. I've tried a lot of places in the Nashville area and could not find a go to spot until now (just a few other places as well). The wing, catfish, and fries was nicely fried and had my wings tossed in hot lemon pepper (the only flavor I get if available). Next time I go for my preference, I would ask for the wings to be fried extra crispy. If you come across this place give it a try, I give this place my Atlanta approval!

Went on Instagram, searched "Nashville Foodie"... this spot came up. Headed over to the location on Nolensville Pike. The ambiance could be much better, service could be better as well. Food was brought out and that was it, no follow up from the lady who took my order. But the food was actually good. Im in town from Memphis so I wouldn't say this place has the "best" wings.. BUT they were good! The fish was good, seasoned well, the nice amount of crisp. The friez were standard "seasoned fries" that most wing places offer. Personally I prefer fries with seasoning. 3 stars due to service & ambiance, but food was pretty good.

The food and customer service was really good! The Fried Oreos were my favorite. The wings were cooked great and the flavors were all there. Definitely will be back !

The waitress was great the food was wonderful and the drinks were amazing. The place is a small but great spot

It's my last night in Nashville so I want to go to a bang zoom restaurant. A few of my co workers have said to me: Mr Bill, we see every night you're going out to some amazing spots. Mind if we tag along? Sure, the rules are to keep your fork outta my plate when we sit down. Deal? The restaurant is very large, we're shown to our table. Set in the middle of the dining room and facing the bar. The bar can seat at least 25 people, the restaurant is set up for fun. To get our party started, I ordered a well crafted cocktail: Tea'd Up Old Fashioned Made with Bourbon, Black Tea and House Barrel Aged Bitters. Funky?? Oh yeah I'm with a bunch of Military Veterans and they're telling me their crazy stories. I'm sippin' my Old Fashioned and taking it all in, we need to bond over drinks and crazy things we all drank overseas. As an adult, I can appreciate my Nashville TN Old Fashioned with Black Tea. While we're talking, our waitress drops off a plate of homemade biscuits. The biscuits are fire! Buttery, flakey and moist, The Southern Steak & Oyster can make a damn good biscuit. Next, my Gumbo comes to me. The first taste I can tell this is a chef'd up dish. Better than anything I had in New Orleans. This gumbo is filled with Andouille, Crawfish, Shrimp and Fried Okra. Very flavorful indeed. My last entree in Nashville will be Fish 'N Grits. Fresh fish topped with Spicy Tasso Ham over Sweet Potato Grits and Bacon Braised Cabbage. This is a flavorful dish, the grits are very creamy and the cook on the fish was spot on. We had a great night at The Southern Steak & Oyster, it was a pleasure to dine at your restaurant.

Upon his return he was focused on everything but the 5 of us in the place until we finally had to ask to get service. The other visit everyone helped me but the actual server. Maybe this is a staffing problem, I don't know but being stuck for 20 minutes to order another drink with my meal is not acceptable. Although they had that check in my hand in under a minute and in under another minute to process. Again, super nicer people, but kind of oblivious. 2) Now let's talk about the kitchen. And I'm adding some input from the other diners because we all sat there waiting. - flavors are great, but the salt and spice level is overboard. I had the mushroom appetizer and nearly choked/coughed to death. I like heat but this was raw spice that overpowered the dish. And the salt about made my feet swell into balloons. Such a shame because the idea is great just poor execution - deviled eggs. Pass - BBQ Shrimp, sort of like the mushrooms right profile but overpowering - gumbo. Two other people had the gumbo and when I asked they said that too is just over spiced I want to like this place, but probably my last visit unless I just come for oysters. Sorry

It was our first time visiting, and we weren't sure where to go. The security guard at the main door was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. However, when we got upstairs, it was a different story. There was no one there to give us any direction, and we didn't see a sign stating whether we could seat ourselves. The place was a bit busy, but there was a section with about six empty tables. We chose to sit there so we could be near the fan since it was very humid yesterday. No one acknowledged that we had been seated, so when a waiter walked by to clear a table, I asked if it was okay for us to seat ourselves. He said yes, handed us menus, and walked away. No problem--I could tell it was busy and that he was running around, so I took no offense to him walking off. We waited about 10-15 minutes. No one offered us water or came over to greet us. The same waiter I had spoken to returned to our table carrying an empty pitcher, and I greeted him. In response, I got, "You know what you want?" I repeated my greeting, and he repeated his question. Mind you, he never introduced himself, so I have no clue what his name is. The only conversation we had before that was when he confirmed that we could seat ourselves. While I understand being overwhelmed or tired, I can't understand being met with such a rude disposition when I had done nothing to warrant that response. Needless to say, I didn't want someone who found greeting me to be an impossible task handling my food, so we left. He couldn't have cared less that we were leaving. He grabbed his pitcher and walked away before we did. They could have really good food and drinks, but I'll never know. My hope is that this was a one-off situation, but something tells me it's not. There's a bar on the first and fourth floors. The first floor is pretty open with minimal seating, so I'm assuming it's meant for dancing. They also have a live band set up on that floor. Lastly, thank you to the security guard. He was a tall guy with braids, and despite our brief interaction, he was the only person who made us feel welcome. Outside of that interaction, this place was disappointing.
