This location has repeatedly been horrible with the service. You order a large fry and they give you even less than they would at any other location for just a regular fry. You order a large Sweet Tea and they're "out" almost two hours before close. No substitution. The wait time for your food is super long. Guthrie's across the street will get you the same things for around $3 cheaper for a full meal. Zaxby's is a superior recipe but they fail so miserably at delivering that it loses a ton of quality points. They really need to pick it up. I think a lot of it comes down to the staff being sort handed. Which is unfortunate but the quality of service and final product is suffering. I'm willing to adjust my review but this location for years has been low quality. One of the lowest in Birmingham. read more

Worst Zaxbys I can imagine. Horrible bathrooms should have been our first clue to run. Whole restaurant need s cleaned! Our shoes literally slide the floor! This was my first time at this location. It was a typical fast food experience. The drive thru and inside were both open. We used the drive thru, which was crowded but the line went fast. Never been to this location, but I was hanging out with my best friend and we decided to come here for lunch. Don't expect a warm welcome customer service because it's nothing but teenagers and young adults here who can care less about their job. While we was waiting, I observed some of the employees horse playing around with each other as far as play fighting in the kitchen. The manager must've been doing important things to unable to check on the employees. On the positive note, the food was good and had a equally amount of sauce on the wings. read more

I've never left a bad review somewhere because I understand that people make mistakes, but I feel obligated to let the public know not to go here. I've tried this location a few times because I love zaxbys and it's the closest one to me. I can't name one enjoyable thing about any of my experiences. This is definitely one of the better fast food chains, and I have seen improvement since my first visit here when it first opened. I remember it as being heavily salted fried food that was barely edible, but now it is comparable to Chick-fil-a almost. I ordered the Zaxby's Club which was basically a chicken tender sandwich where the bread is all buttery too. The fries are seasoned with cajun salt, a weakness of mine! They have a coke freestyle machine which I always have fun with. Luckily I shared the meal with my father so I wasn't feel TOO TOO guilty afterwards either! First and foremost, customer service is the most important criteria to me when it comes to any business. This location definitely has customer service down-packed. The employees always greet customers appropriately. They also allow enough time for a customer to decide on an order. The lines are usually pretty long, but I believe this is due to the nearest Zaxby's locations being 22-30 minutes away. As for the food, I have yet to have a negative experience. My food has always been fresh. My order has always been correct. I believe that even in the event that there is a mishap with an order, they will rectify with situation with their impeccable customer service. read more

I have been to this Zaxby's a handful of times, but this is my first time here since COVID. This time, I decided to order the Big Zax Snack meal. The food was good in general. The chicken was super crispy, and they gave me way more fires than I usually see which I appreciated (but they lacked seasoning). I went for the drive through so the wait time wasn't too long; however, they did forget my Zaxby's sauce. They do still offer inside seating which is nice for those who prefer that option. Unfortunately, I did not see any of the employees following COVID precautions. I noticed three employees in the same small area without masks and gloves. I'll usually dabble in the different items that would be offer on the menu, but my last visit, which was 01/26/2021, I purchased the Nibberlz meal. The meal was decent, but it could have been better because I have had food from them that was excellent. But this time, the fries had a burnt aftertaste, and my Nibberlz sandwiches were not that good. Beyond that, the customer service was modest, however the cashier did not give me the correct amount of money back, which sucked. Despite the food, the only thing that was delicious was their sweet tea. HI, I am going to tell you about my favorite place to eat. The cool thing about it is that if get a kids meal you will get some animal crackers. You really need to come this restaurants and because it's really fun and great there and you will get your order kinda fast but not all the time because they have to take other people order to and we really enjoyed the food. The building is very nice the decoration is very cute and the location is down the road by the post office and it has a lot of gas stations and then it's an academy sport and then it's walmart and then zaxby's it's across the road and It's in Hoover. I order the chicken finger plate the food looked good and it smells good and taste scrumptious. The food service is very fast and good the sound was very good music is not to loud everything was good such as the aroma the restaurants and the delectable and i liked the chicken fingers and the bread,the sauce, and the french fries. The food was amazing it was freshly cooked in the back when they finished cooking it was aroma of many smells when I smelled it my mouth started watering. I usually come to this Zaxby's because it's closest to my apartment and the service is never great, but my last trip there was terrible. I went to the drive through and tried to order a 20 piece boneless wing, half wimpy and half teriyaki- which I have done before and costs about $12.99. But this time they said they couldn't and that I'd have to pay for two orders of 10 piece wings for $7.99 a piece. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying. So instead I ordered two 'boneless wings and things' both with cokes to drink. I got to the window and the girl said "two boneless wings." I said, "Oh no, two boneless wings and things." Instead of apologizing or trying to fix it, she proceeded to tell me I was wrong, twice.
