My family wanted to try something new since we were only in Utah for 2.5 days and we got what we wanted. They had amazing service and better yet amazing food. I grew up in the south so I know Zaxby's and more than that I know what Zaxby's should be and unfortunately this location just is not that. I ate there twice in the past two days on vacation in Utah from my new home in Las Vegas. So I was excited to be here because I get a piece of home. Boy was I wrong. Both nights the toast was so hard and the fries tasted like they'd sat under a light for too long. It's just sad because real Zaxby's is AMAZING but this one is just blah. The girl running drive through today didn't say a word to us when she handed us the drinks and food and I went to ask for something when she handed us the food but the window could not have closed faster or louder. Supper gross. No cashier at the front. We had to go find someone to take our order, but the cook looked at us several times as we stood there waiting. Food was gross and nothing like pictured. Poor example of a Zaxby's. I LOVE Zaxby's and I was very disappointed at this location. It was extremely dirty and the food tasted old. The team seemed more worried about getting out on time then serving their customers. The problem with Zaxby's is that they are up and down, you never know what you'll get! Zaxby's has reached a new low in customer service. Not even one star is good enough. Their heater was broken yesterday, and to their credit they say they had called a repairman. To their detriment, they also said "there's nothing they can do about it" when it was like 50 degrees in their dining room. Yes, there is something you can do about it, give us saps that sat there in the freezer for 45 minutes a discount at least for sticking with it. My friend asked for sauce and they wanted to charge him .25 cents! It wasn't the cost, again it was the principle of the thing: you can't do one simple service for people that are freezing their butts off? No manager in sight anywhere. Service in Cedar City is notoriously bad everywhere, but this beats them all. Never again, Zaxby's. You're overpriced and have bad service, with that combination I can see your restaurant being a different restaurant by the end of 2018. read more

Very disappointing. We are from Georgia and eat at Zaxbys a lot. Our friend from Vegas was craving Zaxbys so we went. Tables were dirty, cups had holes, no ice in machine, coke machine was out of half the flavors, had to wait 15 minutes for our food, trash cans were overflowing. I cannot complain for it being my first time here! Husband brought us to eat here. He hasn't had it since he lived in TN a few years ago, and I'd have to say it is delicious. This restaurant is fairly new and the employees were all very nice and welcoming. They answered any questions I had since I was a first timer there. So two stars, only because I would give McDonalds one star, and Zaxby's is about one step up from them and that's it. First off, prices are way to high for the quality (or lack thereof) of food they put out. Second, they drowned my wings in sauce so badly I thought of the phrase "do you want wings with your sauce?" Third, the "Zax" sauce...is nothing special..at all..and fourth, our food took less than 10 minutes to make, which tells me that everything is "fresh frozen". I'd much rather wait than have to eat that again. Basically, it's a glorified McDonalds. One star for not being McDonalds, and one star because the lady at the counter was nice. Just called to place a to go order with Vincent I think his name was, at 9:30 pm on a Sunday. They are open for 30 more minutes, or at least the website says so, but as soon as I said "I need to place a to go order," he hung up on me!! Called at least 5 more times and from different phones, and he disconnected the phone after that. Finally he picked up the phone and made childish noises when my husband and I asked for a manager. This is so sad to me, because we are VERY frequent customers that have visited the Cedar location from opening day. If the owner is reading this, Vincent (or whoever worked the closing shift on 4/24) needs to be fired. He's just cost you a whole hell of a lot of business and 5 very loyal customers. read more

Very disappointed in this location. Have enjoyed the product at stores in Salt Lake City. This restaurant was empty at 530 on a Sunday which we probably should've taken as a sign. Sadly, Charlie's BBQ was sold out. Store was dirty and food came out a little too quickly. Everything had clearly been sitting for awhile, the toast was more of a crouton than toast. Zaxbys was a disappointment. My husband and I went through the drive through and there was only 1 car in front of us but the wait was so long we shut off the car. I ordered regular chicken and I received buffalo sauced chicken. I also ordered blue cheese dressing and only received ranch. The plus side we got random onion rings that we didn't order! But overall the food was a 4-5 out of 10. Lets just say we wished we had spent $18 somewhere else where we could have received better food and better service. When it first opened a few years ago both food and service was good. Now every time I've tried to give it another choice it's disappointing. Don't go during noon hour or early evening. If taking out only use drive thru. I made the mistake of going in to order take out. Waited for about 35 minutes to get one sandwich while i counted 22 cars coming and going thru drive thru. We should have known that when we pulled in on what should have been a busy Saturday night and the place was virtually empty, to pick someplace else. We were served food that had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. If you like cold toast and French fries, this is your place.
