Dairy Queen is an American classic that I loved as a kid. Unfortunately, it doesn't love me back any longer. I don't know if my palate has changed or the quality has dropped but it just doesn't taste as good as it used to. It definitely doesn't settle in my stomach very well any more. In any case, I'll always have warm feelings for it but I just can't eat there very often anymore because my stomach will proceed to punish me for the next 2-3 days. I definitely appreciate the fry sauce that you can get at all of the UT locations. That should be available nationwide. read more

Went through the drive thru last night for a peanut butter blizzard for national peanut butter day, the girl who helped me tipped it upside down and the dollop of whipped cream on top fell off and plopped down on the floor. The blizzard was delicious and she made me laugh. read more

After checking out the beauty of Bryce Canyon, found this DQ right before hopping onto the I15 south heading back to Vegas. This location has got to be one of the cleanest locations I have ever seen. In fact, all of the establishments we stopped at in UT was clean, which was nice given how NV and CA seem to collect litter like it is no tomorrow. I didn't see any trash at Bryce Canyon, for that matter. Kudos to UT! I ordered two dipped choco cones and a Pumpkin Pie blizzard and both of the desserts were perfect, not to mention a necessity when it was very hot out on the trails. In addition to desserts, they also carry burgers, chicken strips, and French fries for a savoury pick me up. Clean interior/tables, staff were observed cleaning off the tables, desserts were perfect.....I would definitely recommend this location for future visits. read more

On the plus side, service is very nice here and they make some good fries, with fry sauce packets out for you to grab with no hassle. Double burger meal was pretty decent. On the minus side, this apparently gets bombed out by some local high school around 11:30am using it as their personal cafeteria every day during the school year. read more

I like going to DQ because they offer SR. discount and special lunch food prices. It seems to me that there ice cream is not as firm as Artic Circle and is higher then them too. 97 cents at AC 50% more at DQ. I still like going there since they do have better choice of food. read more

UPDATE: So I tried this location again. Again there was nothing but children working there. Adult supervision at this daycare may help but I strongly doubt it. I was shorted a double stack burger. Ketchup only on the cheeseburger seems to be confusing and a difficult request. Fries are not supposed to burnt. Stay way away from the "hot dogs". They make regular hot dogs seem bougie. Who serves hot dogs without anything on them. Not even ketchup. Made them taste so much more disgusting. Finally, this location does not know the difference between Misty Slush and a Misty Freeze. I ordered a Misty Freeze and I received a Misty Slush. This experience only cost me $50. I haven't dared venture into the blizzards. Who knows how they messed them up. When you read the replies to a review from the marketing team, keep a realistic view. It isn't one bad visit. It is a consistently a horrible and frustrating event. How the corporation can be okay with such a consistent negative experience reflecting on the brand. I guess they quit caring as long as the franchise fees are paid. Dairy Queen doesn't care about their customers. Please learn from my two horrific experiences and run from this location. I wish I could give none or negative stars. read more

This place is great. Customer service was fantastic despite a possibly depressing workplace. My blizzard melted a bit before I picked it up from the counter and the polite worker offered to remake it. I honestly didn't mind but she did it anyway. The food quality was as good as you get from a fast food restaurant. The cleanliness was as clean as they could get it in a crowded restaurant, and any mess wasn't due to neglect but a good amount of business crowding their tables. I visited this restaurant recently and tried to order two cheeseburgers from the 2-for-$4 menu at the drive-thru. The girl who took my order kept asking "do you want a drink with that?" and I had to tell her no twice. Then she asked if I wanted cheese curds. Again, I had to tell her I wanted two cheeseburgers. Then a male voice came on the line and we finally got the order right. But then I drove up to the window and had to wait two minutes before he came up and took my card. I waited an additional minute before he handed the card back to me. After another two minutes, he handed my food. Then he said as he handed my order to me, "name calling will not be tolerated." I have to say this family owned Dairy Queen is a great spot in cedar city. Unlike most DQ you come across that are run down this one goes to top as cleanest and over all nicest I've ever been too. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Natalie who took our order and gave us some great suggestions. I've taken our family each time we visit Cedar City and she always helps me pick the best combo for a blizzard. The cheeseburgers I'd say are some of the best in town! I know there know for chicken baskets which don't get me wrong are great but the cheeseburgers hit the mark as well. I will continue to stop by enjoy excellent service, clean lobby and great food. This was the worst cheese hamburger and fries I've ever ate. The fries were lukewarm, the hamburger patty lukewarm, the cheese thrown on at last minute. I couldn't even take one bite of this unappealing cheese burger. I brought it to the managers attention. Greetings from Cedar City, UT! I drove in from Las Vegas and was totally bummed that almost every restaurant is closed. I was starving, and totally geeked out when I saw Dairy Queen was open. I ordered a kids meal, with a milk, and saw on the marquee that I got a treat with my meal. So, I pulled up to the window and paid for my food and was given my bag. I then asked if a treat comes with it and the girl at the window says 'oh, did you want that?' Umm, yes, of course I would like my treat. It's Dairy Queen for crying out loud! Lol. Well, I got to my destination and found out I didn't even get my drink either! Seriously? Wow, awesome, thanks ladies!
