They only had all the ingredients for 1 of the tacos (of course, it was the one that didn't sound good to me). They were out of slaw, but they did offer an extra side of fries or bread. The food was ok. We decided to try here because we don't have them at home and everyone says they are better than Canes. The sauce, yes! The rest of the food, not so sure. I'm from out of town and wanted to try this spot. On arrival there was no line,no wait, we ordered and about 10 minutes later we were given our food. The 3 tenders and fries were seasoned very well and I enjoyed the Zac sauce, the best part of the meal was the banana pudding shake,it was delightful and the reason for the 4 stars. Placed order from app with a scheduled pick for 5:45pm. Got there about 5:25pm. Order had not been received.Was asked to repull back through drive-thru closer to time. Parked/waited to 5:40pm to pull through again. Food was COLD!!! This was retry from 8/2025 to which I had the same results. Why would the food be COLD? I spent over $17 and was very disappointed. The first time we went there a few months ago it was very good, but this time was awful! Very few soft drinks available in the machine that's supposed to have them all! I have never had a worse experience. She yelled at us to wait while she made the food and got in trouble with her manager and decided to argue with her instead of serving us. We waited 30 minutes until we were helped. There was no one ahead of us. We then proceeded to wait another 30 minutes before they even started our food. We asked for a refill and she acted like it was the end of the entire universe and rolled her eyes and got mad. They then were out of most sauces and had to wait in BREAD for a long time. I Like Zaxby's food very much. I don't expect a fine dining experience when I go in. The floor was pretty dirty and hadn't been swept in some time. The young lady that took my order had other things on her mind. There was a sign on the door saying they had a "skeleton crew" and apologized up front for slow service. I stopped at noon on Monday and ordered a house salad with fried chicken. The salad was not fresh, the cucumbers were clear/jelled, the greens were wilted with black around the edges, and the tomato slices were wrinkled. The chicken was cold and the poor cheese was truly aged. Texas Toast had ridden over from Lukenbach and looked tired from the ride. With tea just over $13.00. I can see prep work to have the base put together each morning with the final touches such as chicken and bread added upon order, what I got should have been thrown out 3 or 4 days earlier. Great fried chicken strips and wings. The hot is nice and spicy. This place has really good flavor, freshly fried food, buttery Texas toast, and a multi flavor coke machine. The machine can quickly develop a line since it takes a while for people to make their choices. My favorite thing are the crinkle cut fries, this cut makes me and happy, lol. Service is quick, efficient and friendly (I've ordered in store and through the drive thru). Restrooms are clean, though tables aren't cleared as often as they could be, even early there are sticky tables and food on the floor. I will continue to return when I need my chicken fix. read more

Ok for all my Arkansas friends and family..., a lot of you may have heard of Gus' world famous fried chicken here in LR. But I hadn't anyway my sister and myself took ourselves over there and the chicken was wonderful! Spicy but not too hot the skin chrispy and the meat tender and juicy. The only negative was that I was a bit hesitant because the sidewalk was soooo dirty and it looked like it had been a while since they had cleaned the glass entry door. But once I was inside it all went away. Staff were attentive and friendly. This is a place I will definitely go back to. read more

NOT READY FOR COVID-19 (after over 4 1/2 months to practice universal precautions). Wearing the mask is not a suggestion, it is a requirement. Your mask protects the customers and your co-workers. Everybody else's mask protects you. Seems like a fair trade-off. As for the food, it is average. It would not hurt to change out the grease in the deep fryers every now and then. Even though it was "no contact" drive-thru, everything that came out of their mouths and noses had to go somewhere. I hit the Lysol pretty hard when I got home. I will reconsider going back when they all learn how to wear PPE correctly and are safety conscious. In the meantime I will avoid it like the Plague. read more

Nice and clean restaurant here. I'm not from the South or even Little Rock and this is the cleanest chain fast food joint around here (David's Burgers is great too). It's definitely a newer store as the inside/outside is modern and trendy. I been to Zaxby's in Georgia in the past. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I witnessed a staff member carry out food for a nice old man - that is a rare sight even at a fancy restaurant. I ordered the five finger plate that comes with five real chicken strips, crinkle cut fries, coleslaw, Texas Toast, and a single package of Zax sauce. The chicken was juicy with flavour and not with oil. The outer layer was crunchy and not too overpowering with salt. French fry seasoning was adequate and not too salty either. Cole slaw was decent. I normally have no problem with Zaxbys. Most are polite and pretty fast. Not so much the case for this location. I ordered a simple 5 finger plate and waited 10 minutes for it to come out of the drive thru window. No problem, I was in no hurry. However I ordered a Diet Coke (diabetic) and was given a coke. When I told them about the mistake three of the employees started mocking me. They then handed me a Diet Coke out the window which was drenched as it over flowed. Wings were not premier wings I've gotten at other Zaxby locations. My tongue torch sauce was almost non existent. Fries were not the great seasoned fries I'm accustomed to. Toast which I crave, was not warm. Overall, this location did not give me the Zaxby's experience I'm use to. Service was great. The food was awesome, hot and exactly what I ordered. The problem was I order online and was told 8 mins. When I get there the cashier told me my order would be ready shortly. I waited for 7 mins after the scheduled time for pick up. Another cashier said my order is coming, bone in wings take a little longer. 20 mins after that a walk back to the counter, the original cashier asked was I still waiting on my online order. This instantly made me mad because I stood in front on the counter the whole time. She then says it would be 15 mins because they would be fresh. When I told her nevermind, I wanted my money back, one of the cooks calls out it was a min and thirty seconds left. I waited and received my food 30 mins after the scheduled time. I ordered from my hotel room asking for 10 piece teriyaki with no celery, and a side of teriyaki dipping sauce, and cheese curds. Get back to my room, to find they were not teriyaki season, and there were 4 celery sticks, along with 2 containers of Ranch dressing. The cheese curds were the only correct part of the order. We love Zaxby's. Been eating at them for years-originally discovered them in Jackson Mississippi. We were so excited to get one here in Little Rock recently. We love their wings etc-eat here once a week! I cannot give 5 stars to this location because it is consistently nasty. Outside and inside. I've sent surveys in to corporate (the ones you get on your receipts) and nothing has changed in 6 months. The beverage area is always disgusting. Even when you get there at opening time it looks like syrupy spills all over the place. Floors going in to the restaurant need power washing. Just months and months of greasy build up and spills. The windows and glass doors are ridden w smears from months of nasty hands . Come on guys. Step it up!! Oh and the dining room floors are so slippery w greasy residue you may bust your butt!!! I have no clue why people rave about Zaxby's. It's just frozen chicken fingers, as far as I can tell. My sandwich was just some over cooked chicken fingers on Texas toast with two sauces. I could do this at home with better results. The fries were seasoned but weird. Are they batter dipped? If you want a chicken sandwich, go to Chick-fil-A--or even McDonald's. read more

I like Zaxbys, don't get me wrong here, but I will NEVER go back to the one on Kanis Rd! They have the rudest staff I have ever seen. My family and I ordered simple off the menu items, no adding or taking away this or that. The dirty looks and mumbling I got when I asked for a couple of packages of salt and pepper were rediculous . Not to mention they took our order back because they said they did something wrong, do you think I ever got my salt and pepper.... no... after a 15 minuet wait in the drive through, I left with food that looked like they literally threw it at the box, and I got pepper and artificial sweetener and dirty looks.
