Their french fries or Ida crinkle cut french fries are the greatest in the world better than Wendy's better than McDonald's better than any other place. Well, Sonny's has pretty good french fries but they're the same french fries so anyway I am a french fry connoisseur. Oh yeah, somebody reminded me in the background about Chick-fil-A. My chicken didn't even have enough sauce on it to eat I basically choked on it and the pieces are very hard could only eat two out of my five pieces this meal is not worth almost $11 what a robbery sorry Zaxby's but I won't be back your food is not good !! A friend raved about Zaxby's so four of us went here on the way to the airport. Two of us ordered the grilled chicken meal and the others chicken fingers. Instead of grilled chicken, we got chicken salad sandwiches on dry, stale toast. Ok; so we were in a bit of a hurry, so we ate them. The chicken tasted more like a salt lick than chicken salad. The fries, however, were good but they're a frozen crinkle fry available almost everywhere. As we were leaving I asked the clerk at the counter if I could have five singles for a five-dollar bill. He turned and asked his "manager" if he could do that and he said, "No, this is not a bank." After spending nearly $40.00 in this location, one would expect a common courtesy. I super appreciate my food being served hot and fresh. The food is definitely tasty don't get me wrong. My reason for 1 star is I took away 4 stars for each car that got their food before me, when they were after me. My husband and I went and ordered for our family of 4. We were asked to move ahead as "they made our food fresh". Cool, no problem. But the car behind me (2 minutes after I pulled up in the drive thru) got their food before me. Then the car after that pulled up and got their food.. before me. Repeat 2 more times and finally our food came out. No one said sorry about your wait, or anything actually. I drive a lot for work and when I'm on the road I'll often stop at different Zaxby's for lunch, because they have the best chicken tenders out there. Well, this location in Orange City I think happens to be the best Zaxby's out there on several fronts. First, it is always clean. This Zaxby's is clean, their food is always freshly prepared and tasty. I love their salads and often order the Fried House Salad, with mediterranean sauce and no complimentary bread or cold slaw. This salad is under $8.00 and is very filling. The few times that I've been here, I've never experienced any issues with my order, employees are friendly and helpful. The surroundings of this restaurant are alway clean and have fresh flowers. The restrooms could use a bit more maintenance though. read more

Unfortunately, to top off of one of the crappiest days I have had, I just got the wrong food delivered to me. I was on door dash placing a delivery. I had two orders of boneless wings, one with honey mustard on them & a side of ranch and the other was bbq sauce with ranch on the side. I also ordered a side of buffalo chicken dip, and I asked for extra chips. When DoorDash got to my hotel, I realized I had two orders of bbq wings with own side of ranch and the other honey mustard. The buffalo dip I got was also chilled!!!! I called Zaxby's to explain that my order was wrong and the manager told me "I had to return the food that was made wrong to have the food I wanted to begin with, made" I told her I didn't have transportation and asked if doordash would deliver new food free of charge, she told me she didn't know because she is not affiliated with doordash. So I called doordash and explained my situation, doordash is now paying for the food that I had ordered in the first place and are sending out another delivery guy for me! Yay doordash!! But then I noticed on the receipt that the buffalo dip that was $3.99 on doordash's menu, was not what I paid for on my receipt. When I completed my order my total was $34 with tip for my driver, tax from food, etc. I was up charged $6 for extra chips with my cold buffalo dip:( I was also charged for a service fee that was not included in the order that I had confirmed. I ended up spending $41 with all of the extra fees that I DID NOT ACCEPT. this has been a terrible experience and to top it off the manager wanted to argue about the food being cooked "correctly." this whole situation is just not right, I am not a happy customer. Doordash and zaxbys overcharged me..this shouldn't be legal! read more
