The meals were prepared nice and fresh (HOT). The service was as fast as it could be. The inside wasn't pack so it was normal noise while waiting. I must say it's very cold uncomfortable to sit and eat but my car worked just fine. read more

If I could leave a negative -2 star review I would. Took them 55 minutes to provide me with my food. I ordered a zax pack meal and a side order of fried pickles. They rang me up for just the tenders. Forgot the rest of the meal. Refunded me in cash where I had to pay for the difference of the large fries and toast. Not a problem. Took care of that. Tell me why it took them an additional 20 min to get me two large fries and toast. It took someone in the back where the food is prepared in order to ask me what I needed from my order. Then they finally provided it within 5 min. That told me everything I needed to know. No one apologized or tried to make up for that up front. Not even the person who messed my order up in the first place. Very poor customer service. Do better. read more

The customer service is terrible. the rushing and cutting people off while trying to order is uncalled for. I ordered the loaded fries with EXTRA cheese and the lady even said back extra cheese but when I looked in the bag there was no cheese or ranch. I go back in the building and explain what happened but half the staff was standing at the kiosk doing nothing. One lady takes my bag to the back and then come back with the same bag they originally gave me. I look at my food and they threw a bunch of cold cheese on it. Why didn't they just remake my order?? I am giving this 2 stars because I am tired of having to reiterate or explain the phrase "extra lettuce" lol. Sweet Jesus you guys are amazing but got dernit. At least put some effort into making the expensive salads, that are worth it, when make it like you give a hot dern... I will pay whatever but tired of paying $30+ for the same 3 salads I get to take home for dinner and the "extra chicken" is never on there and I have to add lettuce from my own fridge sometimes. Smh. Meh. I love Zaxby's but this one left a lot to be desired. I ordered three meals through the drive through. I had just finished cleaning out my apartment with my 8 year old and we were both sweaty, tired, and hungry. We paid and drove home. Once home, I felt the dreaded "I should've checked the bag" feeling. I ordered the house zalad like usual with buffaloed chicken (tongue torch or whatever sauce it is). They gave me the blue salad. I despise blue cheese so I was pretty upset that I had to dig through the entire salad to try and get the cheese out. Not good. My 8 year old didn't get her fries with her meal. I let her have some chips from the pantry. I'm not impressed and if I have to come back due to my boyfriend desperately craving Zaxby's, I'll be sure to inspect the bag before we pull off. read more

I like Zaxby's. They have plenty of menu options for all tastes. The staff/service varies by the day. The drive-thru takes forever! the food itself is usually pretty good. It was late and we needed dinner. My daughter wanted Zaxbys. So we went through drive-thru. My daughter got the chicken tender kids meal and I did the wings and things. Everything was right when we got home, so no complaints there. The girl that took the order sounded miserable on the speaker and you could tell she did not want to be there. The food was fine, no complaints. However the goldfish graham cookies that come with the kids meal are TERRIBLE. I went through the the drive through. Bought a lg. Fry and lg. Drink. I gave her a 20.00 and they handed me my drink and then my fries in a large bag. I didn't think about it until later but they didn't give me my change or the receipt. I usually pay by card. I called them when I realized it. They said they were not over on the drawer. They another manger came in the phone I started to tell what happened and he said he was told about it. He proceeded to tell me it's not his job to run after customers. That I should learn a lesson about not leaving my money. So I asked if it's ok then then for her to pocket my money. He then hung up on me. Someone pocketed the money. Of course I love this Zaxby's in Summerville. This is a great place for tasty chicken sandwiches and wings when you are hungry. They take their time to get everything right and I am willing to wait a little longer for good quality food. Everyone that works here is friendly and cool and I have always been treated good every time I have been here. The location is very convenient and easy to get in and out of when you need to stop and then get on your way. The inside of the restaurant has a lot of cool Summerville specific decorations and it has a very relaxing vibe that is good for eating a good meal. We have enjoyed Zaxby's at several different locations. We stopped for a late dinner tonight and ordered our favorites. Here are the highlights: the drink machine was spewing out ice and drink all over the floor, floor mat was squishy soaked in drinks, the toast was burnt, the mushrooms were greasy and awful, during our entire meal the dining room was being cleaned by moving the furniture and cleaning underneath---lots of banging and slamming. We told the staff about the drink machine and floor and were told they had been "working in that all night". We asked for salad dressing that they forgot and were given dipping sauces. The one good thing is that one male employee was working very hard all night. He is a good worker. You should keep him. The rest of the staff socialized behind the counter. It's time to clean house and get a new staff and a new cook!! read more

I would add that she's the sweetest person and loves to take her grandkids here so the salad must have been pretty bad for her to get upset and say anything negative. Zaxbys is always a staple to eat when visiting the east coast from our home on the west coast. However we didn't enjoy the dining experience. It rained that day and water was leaking into the restaurant. There was a horrible smell inside and just did not feel clean. I understand these things happen but in my opinion they should not have been running business with water all over the floor and quite frankly smelling moldy and musty in the building. read more

Food below zaxby's standard. Ordered online and was told that our order would be done after those in the lobby, including those that came after my order. I got there at 6.50 and waited for 10 mins and no order. The process said it would be ready at 6.46. 5 mins later asked where my order was and got told about the cosmicly stupid rule. Which dumbass thought that was a good idea. The cashier had to ask for my order to be made after the manager would not come to the lobby even after another customer had the same complaint. When I finally got my order, 30 mins after arrival, and got home there was no coleslaw. WILL NOT GO BACK TO THAT ZAXBY'S AND RECOMMEND YOU DO THE SAME. Good luck if you do. read more

Please look at your Cobb Salad before eating. Went to Zaxby's on 01/05/2021. Ordered (2) salads. Got home open my salad and put the sauce on it. Shook it and I tasted it. Got my bottle water and salad heading upstairs. Relaxed when to go eat some more, but saw something black in my salad, so I looked and I get sick to my stomach. Looks like a burn bug.
