    Chicken parm with fries
    Marc J.

No token hamburgers on the menu here; it is chicken all the way! And crispy chicken at that. Our visit was impressed immediately by the cleanliness of this place. Shiny floors, well managed table sanitation, not a stray straw wrapper at the soda fountain. It was truly refreshing. But the real accolades go to the counter and kitchen staff. Ordering is a walk up window area with talented customer service agents who know the menu. I tried the currently featured chicken parm sandwich and was surprised that the chicken didn't get soggy despite the use of a healthy layer of marinara and provolone. The use of Martin's potato buns added to the flavor and presentation. I ordered fries with my sandwich with Cajun seasoning and was impressed that they have rosemary fries as well which I will try on my next visit. My lovely wife enjoyed her Southwest Chicken salad - chicken was fried but can be ordered grill. She raved about the freshness of the lettuce and enjoyed the dressing immensely. Did I mention that there are charging outlets in the booths? Smart thinking. And as a matter of preference, I would have enjoyed a selection of Coke products at the fountain, but Pepsi was the proprietor's choice. So Dr Pepper was my choice. Overall I was delighted to see something other than that other chicken joint with cows that suggest we eat more chicken. I will not say one is better than the other but I will say if you want something different, give this place a try

We've been to SC twice now and really enjoyed it. Yes, our heart will always belong to the Mt. P boxcar, but Super Chix is a solid "other side of the bridge" option. We tried the buffalo and Nashville hot. And yes, we were "schvitzin'" pretty good. The buffalo has the EXACT tang you're craving; we added lettuce, tomato, and mayo to balance out the sandwich. Where SC really shines is the sauce selections. WOW. From ketchup to buffalo to their comeback (house) sauce, if you're looking to dunk your fries, there are plenty of choices. Speaking of fries, they're sized/cut somewhere between Boxcar and Steak 'n Shake. Zero complaints. We ordered them with salt, extra crispy, and enjoyed the hell out of them.

We are so glad we didn't listen to the negative reviews. This place took me back to my childhood (raised on a farm and the butter beans are the closest to my grandmas I have found so far). We started with the onion rings / so good, sweet, doughy and HUGE!!! Wow. For our meal we did a 3-meat plate and upgraded to Brisket. Love that they give an option of lean, fatty or mixed. It was tender and flavorful. The pulled pork was great. My husband loved the turkey. We had the macaroni and cheese and beaked beans and also added on an order of the butter beans and potato salad to bring home for a bbq later in the weekend. The spicy gold sauce I could put on EVERYTHING. My goodness was it good. My husband loved the OG Red and took home a bottle of that. Overall we loved our experience and will be back in the future! Also we arrived Saturday morning (Memorial Day weekend ) and were one of the first people at 1045! Perfect timing!!

I wanted to try this place because of the positive reviews and because I love mediterranean food…read more I thought maybe it would be one of those hole in the wall surprises... but, it was disappointing. I got the Chicken Shawarma Platter since that's what I saw mentioned the most in reviews. The chicken with dry, the "garlic sauce" was basically mayo, the rice was also dry and wasn't necessarily a flavor I would pick. There was one dolmas (even though the menu says 2), and it was good (to be fair, I didn't say anything about it). I imagine their greek salad would be good because the small side salad on the plate was good. For $16 though, it was pretty disappointing. When I think platter, I think more like sharing size, but this was pretty comparable to most places one person meal. I didn't finish it, but mostly because it was really dry and didn't taste great. We also got fried pickles (okay, but pretty greasy and they could really use some kind of dipping sauce), the hubs got the Ribeye Philly, he said it needed some kind of sauce and that he didn't feel the need to come back, so... nothing noteworthy. The kids got chicken fingers and fries. They polished off the fries (they were good!) but left most of the chicken fingers, I didn't try them, so... and lastly, the ambiance... if I had to pick between here and somewhere like Kairos, I'd pick Kairos... it's cleaner, they have music going, and my kids like to watch the videos of people making the kairos food. Med Diner has no music, the vibe is a bit weird (like someone cut out the middle back of all the chairs with like a saw or something), it feels a little thrown together and sad. I saw a handful of people go through the drive through while we were there, so maybe there's just something else they are better known for and we hit an off day. Just not my vibe.

The Smashburger was unlike any I'd had before as were the Hashbrowns. We ordered a deluxe burger and a crust burger with curly fries. Both burgers were super good and juicy, and served piping hot and came out quick! The curly fries were a good choice too. The meat is well seasoned and they don't skimp you on the toppings. The service was really friendly also. The menus didn't offer an explanation of what everything was, so I had to ask. They have lots of sauces to choose from for your burger, so that's fun. I also think it's slightly pricey for getting just a burger with no fries, but maybe that's just me. I'll be back though, it was delicious!
