The low scores on Yelp doesn't surprise me. Yesterday we decided to have a quick dinner at Zaxbys. Is there a manager there at the store? If so, it might be time for some training of the staff including the manager. We ordered online for curbside pickup. Convenient when you have a compressed spine and not walking very well right now. I only say that because when I got there I still had to walk in, There were only a few customers and not busy at all. But listening to the complaints I knew it wasn't just my order that was a problem. One young guy out front doing the best he can and several people in the kitchen and other areas having a good time, but not helping customers where they should have been. I guess a manager or an assistant finally come out to help him, but she was kind of useless, took one order and disappeared in the back. My order still was not filled. He finally put my order together and I left. Of course the order was wrong, didn't get our desert and my sensation salad was not terrible and not done right at all, it was soggy, the egg roll was burnt and I ended up throwing most of it out. The milk shake was completely melted. Maybe I expect too much, but really only wanted a little customer service, a give a shit attitude on making orders right and prepare the food as it is suppose to be. The prices have definitely gone up, but everything else has taken a nose dive. This isn't the only fast food place that fits this story, but if the owners want their businesses to keep being successful then something has to be required of their employees. First off - ZAXBYS is my life! Secondly - this ZAXBYS has great customer service, and the staff is super friendly! I've came to this ZAXBYS since I was 6! I'm 16, and this ZAXBYS is awesome! Sometimes, the food tastes kinda mid, but I ain't gonna lie - ZAXBYS is ZAXBYS! Again, super nice staff! And eating inside is a good idea if you wanna eat out with buddies! I went in for my birthday this year, and it was really nice! The ambience was super nice, and I genuinely love this ZAXBYS! I only have it a 4/5 because they've messed up the change I got back once! Wth is going on with their drink machine. This is twice in two weeks where I have asked for Dr. Pepper and got straight up water syrup not even the carbonation. Tasted more like tea and after I came back around I got the SAME TASTE. Can't be doing this in a 30 minute break! Now I gotta go to a vending machine which is just stupid. I've been going to this place for over a year with no issues now the drinks are just well... idek syrup but I barely tasted that. I hate when such a good consistency is slapped down by unbearable nastiness. Now that's gonna be $11+ dollars with this trip to the vending machine that's DQ level prices I could have just gone there. So much for $8.95 and that's been going up too. read more

Don't go. If you use the drive-thru, open your boxes before pulling away. Received a Zaxby's order WITHOUT CHICKEN. Discovered it when arriving back at work. Manager "NOT AUTHORIZED" to make it right. Clearly don't value customers. Just make sure your order is correct before pulling away. read more

We were driving home to Greensboro and stopped for a snack. Looooong drive pin line. We ordered 2 Zac snacks and hit the road again. The chicken fingers were overcooked and awful! You people working at Zaxby's may not know it, but OVERCOOKING IS ONE OF THE FEW WAYS YOU CAN MAKE FINGERS DRY AND TOUGH. We were miles down the road and had wasted our money for food that was inedible--thanks Zaxby's. Kinder wondering how a food joint with chicken in their name could not learn to cook chicken. 10.99 for ten wings. The wings are about the size of my thumb. I'm guessing it's about $1.10 per bite of chicken. If they were good chicken wings, it would be as sad. Received my food and they forgot to give me a whole salad that I ordered. And the basket of toast I received was one of the worst I've ever seen. Wasn't really worthy of even being toast. Even had a stale piece of bread. Have been here before and had a good experience but today was very disappointing. They also forgot to give me straws. read more

Terrible customer service. The manager lied about her name' said it was Rizz, didn't apologize for her scanner not working to accept a $5 reward and just said too bad, left bacon off 3 orders of bacon ranch loaded fries. Terrible waste of $51. read more

The chicken tenders are always under cooked.. they always forget your zaxby sauce or give you the wrong sauce

I'll never eat here again. Try them out tho if you like ratty overcooked dry cardboard chicken fingers and week old tasting toast. They seem consistent for that. read more

People in front of us returned food with hair which happens but the guy having to make a new one kept repeating "there's no way" loud enough we could all hear making it incredibly uncomfortable it. I ordered a salad... drive 15 minutes home to eat eat. Open the bag, no salad dressing plus a fly was actually buzzing around inside the salad box. I give 2 stars because if you dine in, the food is actually fresh but the drive thru needs serious improvement. read more

Just ordered a house zalad through the drive through at the Watkinsville Zaxby's. Got home and was stunned! It looked like half of a zalad! Very little lettuce and no Texas Toast. Not worth the $8, that's for sure! I guess I've been spoiled by the downtown Athens Zaxby's! read more

We were served and helped by a wonderful employee named Schaefer. He was extremely polite when taking our order. After we sat down, I had to come back up to the counter (two separate times) to ask for sauce, and each time he was happy to help us and patient. First visit to this Zaxby's. My traditional wings were good, but the staff was harum scarum. My order was to eat in, but they marked it to go, then changed it to eat in, then asked me if I wanted it packaged to go when I picked it up at the counter. I ordered all drumettes, but that's not how it came. I decided to eat them as served without saying anything. The side of cole slaw I ordered had about 3 forksfull in the container. I went to the counter to buy another one and told them about the original nearly empty one, and they gave me another one without charge. While I was getting my drink, one of the workers nearly ran me down trying to grab himself something to drink. As I was finishing my meal, another worker was yelling a conversation over my head to a table of his friends. When I got up to leave, I had gotten only about 3 steps away from my chair toward the door when he grabbed it and dragged it over to the friends' table. All in all, except for the crispy, flavorful wings, it was a pretty crummy experience. I won't be back there. read more

I love this Zaxby's! There is a great atmosphere with a wonderful staff. My food was hot and fresh. I had the nibberlz meal, which is like a slider platter. I will definitely be visiting this location on a regular basis. read more

I love zaxbys probably one of my favorite places to go to. But whoever the manager is at the location on Barnett shoals needs to get it together. If you come between 5 and 9:30 good luck getting outta there with your food in 30 minutes. The drive thru is worse I don't recommend coming during these times.KEEP THE CHICKEN COOKING! read more
