I would also call them "low drama." When the installers put on a different shower door handle than what we ordered, we called the office to ask if it could be replaced with the one we ordered. I talked with Chris about it, and he looked into what happened. He explained that even though they had ordered the handle we requested, their supplier had sent the standard package. He said he would re-order our handle and call us when it came in to schedule putting it on. True to his word, about a week later we got a call saying the handle had arrived and asking when we would like to schedule the install. A dude came out as scheduled, and installed the new handle in just a few minutes with a smile on his face. Would it have been better if they had noticed the handle order discrepancy before initial install? Sure, but mistakes are inevitable, and how they handled the situation was perfect. They have earned our trust as a result. We have already recommended them to someone else looking for a new shower door, and would definitely hire them again.

I didn't realize that it was a portal for the Angie clearinghouse site. Elite was the first one to contact me, so I thought that it was their site. Not so much. I got about forty calls and texts over the next couple of weeks. I looked up the site to see if it was a scam site, and some seemed to think it was. So I called Elite to ask a question, entirely to check for their legitimacy. The four stars instead of 5 comes from the fact that their office never answers the phone by stating the business name. The person answering the phone also seemed genuinely surprised that I was calling, twice. That set off alarm bells. I'm always worried about identity theft online. I researched them online to verify that it was a real business. It turned out to be legitimate, thankfully, and they did a good job.

On 3/9 a tech came out and did the measurements. He wrote everything down on what appeared to be a piece of scratch paper. I wrote down my email address for him and I was told they would email me the quote. A few days rolled by and I hadn't received anything. I ended up waiting until that Friday to call and ask if I would expect the estimate anytime soon. The gentleman said they were working on it and would have it shortly. On Monday 3/16, I had still not received anything. I ended up waiting until the following Friday, 3/20 to call again. The gentleman I spoke to said he would call me back but never got a call back. I have a pretty busy life so it's not easy to have to keep calling a business to get them to provide a service. I ended up calling again on Monday, 3/23. I told the gentleman who answered (sounded like he was working from home vs. a shop like the previous calls) that no one had gotten me an estimate and it had been over 2 weeks. He seemed genuinely apologetic that no one had gotten back to me. He located the estimate order but the tech had not entered any notes, which didn't surprise me considering he wrote them on scratch paper. I told the gentleman this was the last time I was going to call because this was my 3rd time calling. I re-verified my email address and he assured me he'd get a hold of his tech and get back to me. Today is 3/26 and I still have not heard from anyone. I will have to find another company that actually wants my business.
