Large Breakfast Bowl Blended açaí with banana, topped with granola, banana, strawberry, & blueberry

When I'm in the mood for Açaí, this is one of my go-to's. I order the Breakfast Bowl (Blended açaí with banana, topped with granola, banana, strawberry, & blueberry) The cafe itself is very small with limited seating. It's tastefully decorated with local art work on the walls. The staff if super friendly & helpful.

Food came super quick. It was my first time here so I was super excited. I got the Brazil bowl and the creamsicle smoothie. Everything tasted amazing and would come here again!

Zeke's gives off a cozy artist loft vibe. Service is always warm and inviting. Their offerings are simple, but satisfying. My partner and I love the tuna salad. In a wrap or warmed over rice, it's well seasoned and just hits the spot. On my most recent visit I had a fresh watermelon juice. That had to have been the most refreshing beverage I've ever had at a cafe. Zeke's is just right for the Neon District.

I was in Norfolk so decided to visit Zekes on Granby St. I have been before years ago and had a good experience so decided to try it again. Friendly staff, good food from an uncluttered menu. I ordered the O.G. Poke bowl, watermelon and strawberry juice and watermelon mimosa. The food was ok and the juice and mimosa was not memorable. Overall the vibe is great and I would try the business again.

Great portion sizes and very friendly staff. Relaxing place to read and enjoy a peaceful lunch.

Cool spot, but I had never been before. The person at the register seemed annoyed when we walked in and didn't seem to care about giving us a minute to check out the menu, so I didn't order much. It was like a typical Ghent establishment where they don't seem to care about service or being friendly unless they know you (which really stinks about Ghent sometimes). Anyways, we got a couple of lattes and we're gonna eat, but decided to try someplace else. Probably won't go here again, but I was curious and glad to have walked in to experience it anyways.

This is one of my favorite spots in Norfolk. I've been coming here since my college days at ODU and have stuck to pretty much the same order since then. The food is always consistently good, and the smoothie bowls are such a nice treat. I love to order either a breakfast bowl or a north pole bowl with the Fajita pita as a rice bowl. The fresh veggies paired with the hot rice and Lizano sauced chicken always feeds my craving. The staff is super chill as well as the atmosphere. Zeke's is a great place to stop in and get some food to go, sit in with a friend or enjoy a book. Looking forward to actually trying something new next visit!

Staff is wonderful! Matt and Britt up front are so sweet and Kitchen manager, Windsor, knows her stuff! We love this place. They rotate local artwork (that you can buy if you want) on the walls so there's always new things to look at. They have a couple of card games as well. Indoor and outdoor seating with a great little patio out back. The music there is always new and fun (staff makes playlists). The food is great! Poke bowls are good sizes and there is a lot of variety to make edits however you'd like.. Love their coffees and matcha tea too. The smoothies are good, but the orange creamsicle one always needs a bit more orange so keep that in mind when ordering :) There is also a Chesapeake and Virginia Beach location, however, I have never been to those. Just an FYI

Food was awesome !! Fajita Pita with avocado 4/5 a little on the spicy side North Pole Bowl 5/5 my sister suggested removing the mango and adding strawberries Shrimp taco 4/5 this was a week special I love the vibes the art is amazing and a cool way to support local artists. The employees are so nice and helpful I really appreciate great customer service. I would definitely recommend if you are interested in a more healthy temptation. So if you find yourself downtown Norfolk definitely check it out !!!

I was at Zeke's on Granby Street about 4 years ago when I just moved to Norfolk. That was then when I ordered a macchiato and they were struggling to make one right. Nothing much was on the menu. But wait, this is a great review of how Zeke's is so much different now especially what they offer. I ordered their cali poke bowl and Brazil bowl to go. While waiting for my order, I got to meet Rachel the hippie artist who happened to be at Zeke's to sell her paintings! It tells so much about Zeke's as an establishment that promotes other local businesses! Yay for Zeke's. Way cool. Went home and tried the bowls. Didn't intend to but scraped the bottom of great food. All the ingredients are fresh. Highly recommend Zeke's.

Always a pleasure to have breakfast at Zekes! If you're craving something healthy and local, I'd highly recommend. They are best known for their açaí bowls and poke - I love both! We normally get the brazil bowl, which includes an açaí smoothie base, granola, bananas, mango, kiwi, and a honey drizzle. I also love to get their cali poke, which is ahi tuna with all the good fixing's: seaweed salad, avocado, and spicy crab. They get pretty busy most weekends and their lobby is small but totally worth it bc their service is always A1 and their food is great. I also love how they support local artists and will often rotate their artwork inside. You can purchase or enjoy the local art scene.

I have been a regular customer of Zeke's since they opened in Norfolk in 2015. I used to live across the street but now live 30 minutes from there- I now drive to satisfy my cravings for my favorite menu item: the Cali Tuna Pita. Y'all. The tuna salad is amazing. It is the best seasoned tuna I've ever had. The combo of ingredients is stellar. I dream about this pita! The service is always incredibly friendly especially from Brit and Brittany! The staff here really cares about hospitality. It does not go unnoticed! The music is generally chosen by who is working and I've never heard a bad playlist. It varies from old school hip hop to indie to jazz. The decor has changed over the years but is always quirky and unique. They continue to showcase local artists since the beginning, changing artists every month. Zeke's has become a staple in the Norfolk community and my life! I always eat my pita so fast I forget to take a pic, but here is a pic of the kale salad that was amazing and HIGHLY recommend the Blue Colada smoothie on a hot day! Enjoy!

I ordered a 10 oz drink for $7.99, which honestly feels a bit steep for the size--especially for something you finish in a few minutes. That said, the juice itself was actually very good. Fresh, clean flavors, and it tasted like quality ingredients were used. No complaints at all on the product--just the value. Overall, it's a solid option if you're looking for something healthier than typical airport food, but be prepared to pay airport pricing. Good juice, tough price point.

This came from their Ghent location which is different than the usual location I order from (VB TownCenter) I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese bagel and a creamy caramel coffee. Since I am gluten free, I ordered it with a gluten free bagel and also added avocado cream cheese. I will say this, it's not the best gluten free bagel HOWEVER I have learned that if I add a cream cheese to it, it helps with the texture of the bagel. (just a helpful hint!) The sandwich was great, it got to me still warm which is an accomplishment in this cold weather snap we had. I have no complaints. The coffee was different than what I normally order but it was DELISH! And they wrote the nicest comment on it. I'm sad I didn't take a picture but it actually was enough to make me smile. We don't order from here that often, and never this location but NO complaints and I will be ordering here again. I hope to visit this location as well soon :)

You order at the register, and the staff brings the food out to your table. Everyone was attentive, and we had no issues with the service. We ordered the waffle plate, which came topped with fruit alongside eggs and their house sausage. We also tried the Huevos Rancheros, the Sausage Egg & Cheese sandwich, and a build-your-own omelette. For drinks, we ordered the brown sugar cold brew, dulce de leche cold brew, drip coffee, and an espresso martini. The waffle was huge, and the sides were great. My only complaint was that it could have used more fruit, as there were only a few small pieces. The Huevos Rancheros were delicious and came with a generous serving of avocado. The only thing that caught us off guard was the lack of salsa, since in traditional Huevos Rancheros the salsa is a key component. Even so, the dish was still flavorful and filling. The omelette was excellent, and the breakfast sandwich was equally delicious. I was especially impressed by the house-made jam, house-made hot sauce, and the perfectly seasoned home fries. As for the drinks, the brown sugar cold brew was excellent, but the dulce de leche version was far too sweet for my taste. From what I understood, they use two flavored syrups to make it, and I think using smaller portions of each would create a better balance. We ended up adding oat milk and some drip coffee to tone it down. The drip coffee itself was solid and came with free refills. The espresso martini really tied brunch together for me -- strong, well-made, and delicious. Overall, we really enjoyed both the food and the experience, and we'll definitely be back.

They aren't too far away from Northampton Blvd. Coming from I-264, you can get off at Newtown Rd. and head north to it, as the road name does change to Diamond Springs Rd. Coming in while heading northbound is easier than if you were coming in the southbound direction. One thing I noticed is that parking can get limited here when there are lots of visitors to this shopping center. My visit here was on April 17, 2026. The first thing I noticed was parking. Although this is in a shopping center, parking can be hard to find at times, especially during peak times. I was able to find one on this visit, but there wasn't much available. The Yellow signage for the name of the business on the outside helps see it pretty quickly. When my mom and I came inside, it was already busy. There was a wait to get a table, but I wasn't totally surprised at that. It would take about 15 minutes to get a table. Once we got to the table, we had a chance to look over the menu for a moment before the server came around and asked for our drink orders. Water came to the table at that time too. I decided to try their Bloody Mary for a drink and my mom did a Pepsi. The Pepsi comes in a can. I want to note that they have vegan options on their menu, so that adds to the amount of items to choose from. They have a pretty big menu covering both breakfast and lunch options. After having some time to look over the menu, we were finally ready to order. I don't do French Toast too often, so I decided to do the French Toast Meal with scrambled eggs and bacon (crispy). My mom decided to go with the Veggie Egg Scrambler, adding cheese to it. She got white toast and bacon as the sides to go with it. While waiting for the food to come, I tried the Bloody Mary. It was in a tall thin glass. The Bloody Mary was good. After about ten minutes or so, the food came out to the table and it looked really good. The server brought over syrup for my French Toast, but I told her I didn't need it, as I don't normally do lots of sugary items. As we started eating, the food was definitely hot, which is great as it came out pretty much when it was done from the kitchen. The French Toast was really good and it was a great indulgence for me. The eggs and bacon were really good too. My mom liked the Veggie Egg Scrambler too. The only minor issue was that the salt dispenser was low on salt, so it was primarily just the rice at the bottom to keep the salt from binding together. Overall, this was a great first experience outside of events. Even though it was packed, the servers were on point to check things along the way. It was only towards the end where I didn't get a chance to catch them about the salt shaker, but I did let them know when we were headed out. Prices are quite reasonable for the amount of food you get, and there was no surcharge if you use a card of some sort instead of cash to pay. If you're looking for a great locally owned breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in that area of the city, this place is worth checking out.
