    The special with beef!
    Mel B.

This place is a gem! It's a little hard to find, it's off the alley! But it's def worth it! The customer service was tip notch and the atmosphere is wonderful. Very attentive. Staff! The food was the best Ethiopian I've had in a long time! I'll def be back! Taking left overs home to the hubs!

Food was not the greatest. The beef was extremely chewy and rubbery but the flavor was good I guess. The lamb was not that great. They supposedly have "fresh pressed juice" and when I ordered one I got a can of pineapple juice service was also not the greatest, took forever to get our check to us and come pick up payment when there was like only two other tables there. Maybe I just got a bad night, I did go on a random Tuesday but overall would not recommend /:

My goodness, the food has so much flavor it's insane. We had the lamb and injera bread. The manager there was very hospitable and recommended a lot of great food. They played some really great blues music which fit the ambiance very well. We'll be back and recommend others to this amazing hidden gem.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Let's start with the restaurant itself. It doubles as a club/bar late at night but before that, it's a restaurant. The place is super clean and bathrooms are spotless. The ambiance was really nice with classical music playing. Service was nothing short of great. We were checked on multiple times and the chef even asked our opinion on the food. We met the owner and he's a great guy. He, along with his staff, were very hospitable and it almost felt like being at a friend's house more than a restaurant. The food was spectacular. The injera was very authentic which you can tell just by the color that they use all teff. They were very generous with the amount of injera they gave us with the food. We got the fish dulet and the Tibse firfir. I've never had fish at an Ethiopian restaurant before so I wasn't sure how it would taste but it was delicious. The tibse firfir was really good. I would definitely order both again. We also got the coffee and popcorn. The coffee is served in an Ethiopian ceremonial kind of way. It came with incense and smelled amazing. The coffee itself was also really good but the whole experience was nice as I've never had Ethiopian coffee like this before. We got popcorn with it too and let me just say, I thought all popcorn tasted the same until now lol. They make it themselves and it's very salty and buttery and just perfect. I stumbled upon this place by accident. It didn't have any reviews or info but I still decided to try it and I'm glad I did. I'll definitely be back for more!

Really loud music and $25 for a gin and tonic. Would not recommend. Service also was subpar.

The bartender next to us was incredibly friendly and offered excellent drink recommendations. The drinks are on the pricier side, but the quality, presentation, and overall atmosphere make it worth a visit if you're in the area. The bar staff were kind, attentive, and helped make for a great experience.

The space is elegant, unique, and lives up to the photos. I also want to recognize the manager, who was polite, professional, and kindly explained that reservations were required. I completely understand and respect that policy. Unfortunately, my interaction with the bartender before speaking with the manager was the complete opposite. As I tried to get her attention, I felt like she repeatedly looked at me with annoyance and made me feel unwelcome. Rather than simply explaining the reservation policy herself, she went to get the manager instead. She had a problem with Hispanics. She refused to engaged at all. The way I was treated left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially as someone who was genuinely excited to visit. A beautiful venue can only go so far when the hospitality doesn't match. I would have happily accepted that reservations were required if I had simply been treated with basic kindness and respect from the start. I truly hope this was an isolated incident because the location itself is stunning, and the manager handled the situation professionally. Unfortunately, because of my interaction with the bartender I've added in the photos, I don't see myself returning. Sadly they have a Prejudice bartender.

Parking can be a wee bit tricky so waking, ride share, or public transit will be your best options. But if you have to drive we found a paid lot a few blocks away While this wasn't the best tiki bar we've ever been to, it did stand out for the presentation of drinks, the cool (and massive) octopus, the immersion, and overall vibe is nice and atmospheric They have four non-alcoholic options which I really appreciated as the one driving for the night! They also have standard as well as unique takes on tiki drinks. We were surprised to find so many options with vodka and tequila which isn't common in a more traditional tiki bar We had the: - "Kiki Premier Mai Tai" which wasn't as rum forward as we would have thought, especially given how many rums it had in it; but overall it was a classic style Mai Tai and tasty with quality rums - "One Eyed Willy" which has a fun presentation in a chest with smoking dry ice. This one you could taste the rum more and overall it was a really enjoyable drink and experience - "See A Light" which is a non-alcoholic option and the taste was just as good as the presentation. Came in a lovely angler fish tiki mug with the light and everything! The taste was complex and something that thought went into creating - "Four Boys" another non-alcoholic option that was the coolest visual as it came in a "steaming" crock pot. The taste was very unexpected, in a good way, and is a drink I would get again Overall the drinks were about a 4/5 but with the charming atmosphere and whimsical presentation it's a 5 star experience that is just fun

First and foremost, you need to make a reservation. I did end up needing to move my reservation up because of scheduling but it worked out and the staff were really nice about helping me. This is a speakeasy inside Rumba, I did not know that going in. It's incredibly cool to walk into the bar. The decor is amazing. It's super small though with a few tables and bar seating. It was kinda loud when I was there since most tables were filled. My server was nice as well and was able to answer all my questions. Ambiance was exceptional and is such a cool place to visit. Most of the cocktails came with fancy show of some sort and were extravagant - and equally delicious. I got The Inside Passage, but there were at least three others I was trying to chose from. There was a lot of thought that went into the presentation of each of the drinks and I love that attention to detail. Since it was around dinner time I did want to order food and drink. They did not have the Kikisoba (they ran out) and that made me sad, but I was able to order the Rumba sliders and a basket of fries. I'm not a huge sliders fan, and I did order the caramelized pineapple on the side. The sliders were incredibly flavorful and the perfect size. For anyone wanting to visit Seattle, I do highly recommend this place. It's a really cool vibe and the food is really good too.
