Decent food, lots of vegetarian options, close to the Climate Pledge. I'd definitely come back before a show or game. I tried the Cashew Tofu and it was great!

This is a little hole in the wall Thai that was good portion size, cheap cocktails, and serves up good flavor. We went here before a show at the Rep but due to traffic we were running *really* late. They got us in, got us our food, and got us out with plenty of time. I love how they serve their curries with the bowl over a small flame to keep it warm. The kid devoured the cashew fried rice and claimed it to.be delish. We also had some pad see ew and the noodles had the wok flavor and were savory and tasty. Their spicy level was great too. Service was friendly nice. Also the tempura shrimp was crispy and tasty!

This place is my go to spot before the kraken games . The service is always amazing even when it is packed full of folks getting food before the game . The food itself is always amazing just remember to ask for spicy if you want as most dishes will be mild

The service was good and I think they were understaffed so I appreciated that they seemed to have only one server and she still checked on me and got things to me quickly even though the place was decently busy. The inside is kinda cozy and looks like maybe they repurposed a bar into a restaurant. The Thai tea and the spring rolls were very tasty. The spicy vegan soup was just ok. I wish it had had more seasoning or veggies in it. The portions were very generous though. I had lots of tofu and noodles and green onions but no other veggies or spices. The chili oil was fine and it wasn't too too spicy for most folks I'd say. I'd like to come back and try the fried rice perhaps.

We went to Cashew based on Yelp reviews while staying in Seattle and I have to say this was by far one the best Thai cuisine I ever had! The small restaurant tucked in a neighborhood shines with great service, stunning plate presentation and delicious food. I loved that most dishes were available either vegan or gluten free as well. Try it out - you won't be disappointed!! It's truly amazing.

I walked in and decided to give them a shot. Try something easy ..I got the wonton soup with egg noodles.. the broth was umami and garlicky, and warmed up my soul. The wontons were nice and tender, flavored with shrimp and pork. It was like a warm hug. Hit the spot! Second, I ordered the crispy spicy fish. It was an extraordinary presentation even my Chef friend was delighted to see the culinary expertise of the Chef. And it was also very reasonably priced. The service was excellent. They were very welcoming. The decor of the restaurant is super upscale. It looks like a fancy club. This would be a great place to bring a first date. Overall I was super impressed and very happy that I stumbled into this delicious restaurant. 10/10

He offered great menu suggestions and shared the story behind the restaurant--his brother designed the space, and he built it with the help of friends, which made the experience feel even more special. The menu is Thai-forward with a few standout dishes from other Asian cuisines mixed in thoughtfully. The décor is gorgeous--an elevated, glamorous tribute to the water buffalo that feels bold yet refined. We ordered the Miang Kham, Crying Tiger, and Mango Salad. I always order Miang Kham when I see it since it's such a rare find, and this one was excellent. The Crying Tiger was tasty but came out more well done than the medium-rare we ordered. That said, we still finished it because the dipping sauce was fantastic and the purple-and-white sticky rice was delicious. The Mango Salad was beautifully prepared with shredded mango that had just the right crunch and tartness. Generous portions served. Even during a busy late afternoon, the chef handled guests with ease and a big smile, serving beautifully executed dishes and cocktails. Very impressive. We'll definitely be bringing friends here next time we're in Seattle. Tip: They do true Thai spice levels here--proceed with caution."

We stopped here for lunch, and I was a bit hesitant at first. We were seated and I was told they no longer serve their cocktails, which was disappointing. They still have beers, but that's about it. We started with ordering some appetizers: we ordered their pork bun baos and their pork spring rolls. Both were decent, but okay. It made me not have any expectations for what was about to come next. Their Meekong burger is a fusion burger, yet, it was completely authentic. Their meat patty has the texture and taste of nem nuong and they use the actual pickled vegetables from a banh mi sandwich. We have their pickled lettuce and daikon, amidst the banh mi mayonnaise sauce. It was absolutely a banh mi sandwich contained into a little American burger. Again, seldomly so I praise Vietnamese restaurants since I can get authentic food at my mom's house. Yet, this burger absolutely knocked my socks off. Delicious and amazing! A must try for visitors.

I was able to…read moreswing by on a Thursday around noon to try the place out, and there was no wait time to get seated. Fortunately I was in the SLU/South Queen Anne area, but I can totally seeing it being really difficult to find parking when it gets really busy during peak hours. The only parking options nearby are streetside parking with some paid lots - would recommend public transportation to get here to try the place out. Service was fast - this could also be attributed to going on a weekday, we were able to receive our food in about 8 - 10 minutes after ordering. Ambiance is cozy, feels like a casual dine in with lots of natural lighting and the decoration is charming. We got two items, which I'll review down below: Granny's Pork Belly Baos ($8): A tasty bun! The pork was tender and was nicely complemented by the slightly tart apples and floral plum sauce. The buns were light and fluffy and the green onion and cilantro provided a fresh herb taste. I think that $4 per bun is pretty standard price wise for two buns of this quality, and they service a pleasant appetizer. Village Bowl ($16): The Village Bowl is a vermicelli bowl that has all of the fixings - serves as a nice sampler into the types of meats that the restaurant has to offer. It was delicious! The meats were not too heavily salted, flavored well, and were cooked nicely. Portion-wise is decent and would maybe fill most people up. I think that maybe a little larger was would be perfect as I still left a little bit hungry after this bowl and an appetizer. I would say that Meekong Bar is pretty solid if you are looking for Vietnamese food in the SLU/upper belltown area. I think the thing that Meekong Bar has going for it is mostly the price, as other Vietnamese restaurants in the area charge much more ($4 - $6 more) for the same dishes. I would definitely come back to try the other options that this restaurant has to offer.

In fact, the interior is so unique that you wouldn't immediately guess it's an Asian restaurant. The staff were friendly, though service was a bit inattentive; I found myself waiting longer than expected for basic things. Interestingly, when I ordered noodles and asked for chopsticks, they told me they didn't have any. It was quite a surprise to find an Asian restaurant serving noodles without chopsticks. As for the food, it was fine, but nothing memorable for the price. I've had better Asian food elsewhere in Seattle for less. If you're after a stylish, brunch-aesthetic spot to try Asian-inspired dishes, Di Fiora fits the bill. But if you're going purely for the flavors, you may leave underwhelmed.

In the end, I only ordered three handroll: two salmon and one yellowtail. Their fish is tasty and their handrolls are crunchy and fresh. The yellowtail had some citrus on it, but it was not too overwhelming. Their salmon's was perfect and topped off with sesame seeds. The service was okay and the place itself was a bit vacant.
