Short and sweet: oven heat sensor was bad which we knew. We called GE who out sorted to Zen appliance. We also informed them of the bad sensor and F3 error. Technician(Zach) was 2 AND A HALF Hours Late to a 5 hour window. Was here for 2 mins and said "yup its the heat sensor... I don't have that part." We called for the manager the next day to get a status on the part and to submit a complaint, the Senior Tech: Aidan pretended to be the manager and called me abusive because I was clearly not happy with my service. Now what most people don't do: to be fair, the technician did had the wrong address, BUT he saw the address looked wrong and gave me a call, to which I corrected him and even gave directions. If I could give a zero star I would, worst service I have ever received. They were two hours late to the appointment and when they got to my house told me they don't have the part. The next morning call to talk to the manager and he made all types of excuses for this tech claim they didn't have the right address When we provide the tech with the correct address an hour before our appointment. The (manager) who we found out wasn't even the manager but the senior technician continues to make excuses and proceed to call my husband abusive, and refuse to act like an adult. I have never heard or had a place of business to tell their customer that they are being abusive and start playing the victim because we were upset about the service. This is as good as of service provider as you will ever see! The company was referred to us by our appliance protection service provider Old Republic. ZEN APPLIANCE INC. sent us one best, he must be, because he is truly professional. From the moment he walk through the door, he volunteered to wear shoe protection, which I told him was not necessary, and was already wearing a mask, a MUST in this current environment. He basically was able to fix an issue relating to our thermador microwave that eluded two other technicians from different companies. In fact the first tech order a wrong part, that was not even needed while the second one admitted to not even know where to begin because he was not familiar with this type of microwave. The issue ended up being very simple, connecting a disconnected wires inside the microwave! Again, I commend Zen and specially their tech named Aiden! We appreciate you! read more

Three weeks ago they came out to figure out why my dishwasher was not draining water. Their tech identified the issue as a burned out pump and ordered the parts. Today a different tech (Aiden) came out to install the parts. All he managed to do was completely kill the unit and snap off the ground pin in the outlet. When I reached out to the company they claim that the dishwasher was dead from the start because of an electrical issue. They can't explain why it wasn't that way when their first tech came out. This company is shady and unethical. Avoid them at all costs if you don't want more stuff in your home broken. read more

Do yourself a favor...if you have American Home Shield and you have an appliance issue, make sure you ask for Zen Appliance. AHS will try and offer you Accord Appliance...do not accept that. Ask for Zen. Dryer broke today on a Saturday, called AHS, then after not accepting the first choice, they assigned me Zen. I called Zen and they were at my house 3 hours later. Aidar, the tech, offered fantastic service. Polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. By far the best technician that you will get. Thank you Zen for saving the day. Aiden has been to my house 3 times to repair a refrigerator. Still not staying cold. I get a call that another company will be out. This is the 4th company to try and fix it. My Sears home warranty put me in touch with Zen Appliance almost two months ago. I was having problems with my dishwasher not draining but it took several weeks for them to receive the part to repair and then the dishwasher still leaks. If it weren't for the tech that was onsite being such a nice guy I would definitely give them ZEROs if I could! Outside of Zach our tech, the company customer service is lousy at best. Our dishwasher stopped working and the pool of water at bottom leaked out. We also had issues with water leaking under the sink. The plumber said the dishwasher's pump is dead so we hv to call an appliance service company. Luckily we hv home warranty and Zen called us promptly to set an appointment day . 2 days later, Brandon texted the time he will arrive. In a few minutes, he diagnosed the problem. It was not the pump but the connectors to the pipe under the sink. Whew! We highly recommend Brandon.He is professional, knowledgeable and amiable. Not able to reach anyone at the company. Phone number won't let you leave a message or connect to anyone. Our Insurance company cannot reach them either. The guy who came out was great but the issue with not being able to reach anyone is horrible. They came out, took our control board from our microwave and were supposed to send it out for repair. That was 2 weeks ago and our Insurance said they do not have any info since then from Zen. Very happy at first, very disappointed now. I hope they change their way of customer support. read more

Professional, honest and most of all they keep you posted through your repair. I had another local company assigned to my claim, the tech came out and looked at the machine and left, stayed a total of 10 minutes. Insurance company declined my claim and when I fought it they sent out ZEN. Zach was my tech he opened my machine and found it was a solenoid that needed to be replaced. I contacted Zen Appliance about fixing our cook top. They responded amazingly fast and we set an appointment for the next day. They came out exactly when they said they would, giving us a "heads up" call when they were 20 minutes out. The technician was incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. In addition, what I thought was possibly going to be a ~$2000.00 appliance replacement (there had been a flamethrower level event with the cook top leading up to this) ended up being a less than $200.00 fix, which was such a relief. Washer wasn't working and I contacted American Home Shield (my home warranty company) they in turn informed me Zen Appliance would be servicing my request. Zen Appliance contacted me immediately to set up an inspection appointment which was next day. Aider, my technician was on time and very friendly and courteous, even putting on shoe covers before entering. Upon examination and an explanation of what he believed was wrong, part had to be ordered. Three days later received a call part was in and they were available the next day for install. I have a Home Warranty program. The appliance company that was first sent out to my home didn't even service my appliances for what I called them out for. I asked for a list of new companies so I could get a second opinion. Zen Appliance had a 5-star rating, but not too many reviews. I went with them anyway since the other options were only 1-star. Requested service through my home warranty company, AHS, as my washing machine stopped agitating. I was immediately assigned to Zen. From the moment the assignment went through, I was contacted immediately, and informed when a technician would come out. I asked for a sooner time, and they were very accommodating. Today, Zach came out to repair the agitator, and it was diagnosed and completed within 30 minutes. He took extra time to ensure the washing machine had no other issues and worked properly. When he was completed, I asked him his general opinion on why my microwave carousel would turn when the door was opened. He explained the potential problem, and told me to call the warranty company to see if the microwave could be added to the service call. Sure enough, AHS came through and added the additional service to the same claim. Zach diagnosed it was due to a faulty board which will be replaced when Zen receives one. All in all, Zen is on it, and I have already referred them to a friend who is in need of service. Thanks Zach for such great service! read more

Amazing service on my non-draining washing machine! I went throught AFC Home Club, and since I could use any company, I went with Sears first, since they could come out sooner. Sears came out twice and wanted to charge nearly $500 because they said they needed to replace the pump on the lower unit of a double stack, and therefore needed a helper which cost $150 extra, in order to remove the top dryer so they could work on the bottom washer. I said no way. And called Zen Appliance. Aiden came out, (so professional and clean), and not only did he say that they don't need to remove the top dryer because they can access the pump from the front, but also that the pump was not broken at all! The issue was that the unit had vibrated backwards to the point of kinking the drain hose, so it would not drain....that's it! Once he noticed it and moved the unit, it has been working perfectly. $60 service charge! Well worth it! I can't believe that Sears was going to charge almost $500 to replace something that was not broken and remove the top dryer that didn't need to be removed! Aiden knew exactly what he was talking about and I appreciate him and Zen Appliance so much! Highly recommended! read more
