Hurt my back months ago and have reoccurring back pain that flares up. A girlfriend told me about this spa to help my back. Seeing the positive reviews I decided to get a back massage. The staff were friendly and the facility is clean. Got on the table and covered myself with a sheet. Massage therapist knocked and entered. She asked me where to focus and the intensity. Afterwards my lower back felt amazing and I highly recommend this place to you and your girlfriends! read more

I can't say enough great things about this place of business! The girls are amazing. The place is clean and the massages are outstanding. I have been coming here now for a couple of years just haven't taken the time to give them a shout out! read more

Am regular there. And can't think to go anywhere else. Love everything about them. Service, behavior, understanding everything.

I enjoyed my massage with Jason. It was relaxing and it was nice to have soothing music in the background. The facility is pretty clean and everyone was very friendly. Jason was so good at being professional in maneuvering the sheets to make sure I'm covered. He asked if the pressure was good and if it was okay to touch my head. I wish I was in a room further from the front because I could hear all the conversations. I used a Groupon and the price is definitely a steal! read more

It's just a money grabbing scam - lily doesn't know how to give a relaxing massage and the she just keeps on saying for tips - poor service.

Try else where if you want a real message. My Swedish massage is a pretty much a light rub for the entire session. There is no technique. I couldn't wait for it to end. read more

I came in today for the 30-minute back and neck relief massage due to ongoing tightness and knots in my upper back and neck. Cindy was my masseuse and she was amazing! At the beginning of the massage, Cindy asked me what level of pressure I would like and even though I requested "firm", she continued to check with me throughout the massage to make sure the pressure wasn't too intense or painful, which I really appreciated. Cindy was very thorough and has incredibly strong hands. She managed to find and target not only the obvious knots in my neck and back, but also the more hidden knots and problem areas I didn't realize I had. I left feeling rejuvenated and less stiff/tight than when I got there. I will definitely be back! read more

The first time I came here was about two months ago. I was a bit hesitant since I've never had a massage here before and unfamiliar with any of the massage therapists. I had Cindy and she was flat out 5/5 excellent. Very nice lady and knows what's she's doing for deep massages. I was hoping to get Cindy again today but she was on vacation. I decided to roll the dice on a different therapist and hope she was "Cindy caliber" skilled. I had "jojo". Absolutely terrible experience which explains the 1/5 stars. She was not nearly as good as Cindy which is fine but what really upset me was after the massage. As I'm getting dressed, Jojo knocks on the door and decides to change the bed sheets as I'm putting my clothes on which is extremely abnormal. I ignore it as I'm not that paranoid of a person. As I'm about to walk out and open the door to go back to the lobby, she stops me demanding for tip. I told her I usually do all my tipping outside of the room and not behind closed doors. Unfortunately she doesn't understand my request and keeps demanding a tip before letting me leave the room and no matter how many times I tell her that I will give her a tip but I prefer to do it outside, she will not let me leave the room. I'm sure a part of it was due to a language barrier but I've had plenty of massages all over the world and this is the first time I've been treated like this. If you decide to come here, request for only Cindy. The other staff may be lacking massage etiquette. read more

I was getting my car cleaned on a busy day nearby so I looked for a massage parlor around the area. The first place I went couldn't take me. So, this place was a further walk down but super worth it. All I had was 30 minutes. They took me thankfully and my massage felt so good. My neck and back have been paining for awhile. I went to a Thai massage place and left the same way I came in. But this spa, my whole back felt relief afterwards. I left feeling lighter. I could turn my neck easier. The women were both kind. I am so so grateful. Thank you so much for my massage. I don't live around this place but I'm willing to drive back again. read more

Cindy was an absolute god-send and I'm so happy I found her at this place! Her hands were strong and targeted the right pressure points to release the tension in my neck and shoulders. I will definitely be back to see her! read more

Cindy is absolutely amazing! Any time I have a pain or tension in my body, she's able to target the specific area and I feel 100% better afterwards. She's also a lovely person in general. Highly recommend! read more

Honestly had the best massage I've had in years. I like medium pressure and Jenny was perfect. She gently worked the kinks out without causing any pain. My husband got deep tissue and he often finds that most masseuses don't go deep enough. He didn't have that problem with Lily. The facility was clean with easy parking. We will definitely be regulars. read more

I came in for relief from a workout injury/lower back pain and it was great. I made the reservation online - real easy. The therapist was responsive to the knots and tension and adjusted accordingly. The room could have been warmer but he used heat packs so that helped. Will definitely go back. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to get a couples massage here on Saturday morning. Origins was able to take us after only a few hours of making a reservation. Pricing and massage options are really simple and straight forward. They offer sanitizer and masks and follow necessary guidelines. Everyone wore masks during the massages; including us. Lily and April did such an amazing job in providing quality massages (Swedish and Deep Tissue). We are so impressed with such a pleasant, tranquil experience! We will be back again soon! I am so glad we found this place. read more

I came in for a massage because of overall body ache & fatigue. I had an excellent experience & I had a shower before & after that truly helped to relax me pre & post massage. Ying Zhe was a gracious hostess & I felt right at home . The hot stones were excellent & the place is clean. Very clean. Everyone had masks & were very friendly to me as well. I already purchased my next massage!! Great gift/ stocking stuffer gift certificates as well. read more

I came here even though the place didn't have many Yelp reviews. I'm a bit particular about my massages. I like them to be firm/medium pressure but I'm also pretty sensitive to pain when the masseuse hits the wrong place, so it's been pretty hard for me to find a good place to get a massage. For the past couple of months I've been to a couple of different places in the east bay and either the pressure was too weak or I found that the masseuse wasn't massaging the right places. I can't speak for everyone here and I've only been here once but April i can tell you was amazing. From someone who's pretty hard to impress with massages, she really knows what she is doing and I would recommend her if you enjoy a firm/medium massage. One thing to note is that this place isn't some fancy spa, so if you go to massages for ambience I don't know if this would be the right place, having said this if you are trying to work through a knot and need some pain relief I would highly recommend April! read more

Today was my first time getting a massage at Origins Bodyworks & Spa. I went in with pain in my neck, shoulder, and back. April did such an amazing job at locating and working on the exact spots that were bothering me! This isn't a fancy place, but I just wanted a really good massage and that's exactly what I got! I will definitely recommend Origins and April! read more

Very nice place, it was quiet, nice soft sheets and reasonable. I will go back and take my husband with me. I did half hour foot massage and 2nd half hour was body massage. I had just ran a half marathon the week before so I really needed it and I felt much better after. I'll be back! read more
