I just had to take a minute and express my gratitude. I had purchase a Groupon for a 60 minute massage. I had been suffering for several weeks from sciatic pain and the morning of the massage had a horrible pain in my neck. I had tried walking, going to the gym, resting...nothing was working. My pain was getting worse every day. When I arrived at the spa, I was warmly greeted and taking back to the room immediately. I didn't mention any of my pain because I didn't want the masseuse to favor any given spot. She was tiny but MIGHTY and gave me a thorough, full body deep massage. Today my hubby and I had a massage here for the very first time. My hubby said "it's the best he has had" which says a ton because at these little places he has never had one so great!! He doesn't like a male masseuse because they are either over the top hard or have hairy arms which feel coarse on his back when they use their forearms. He requested a female and Linda was his masseuse and he wasn't disappointed! We both loved the hot stones and back scrub as well. My masseuse was Tina and she was wonderful as well. At first I thought she was going to massage me with the sheet on which she did for about 10 min, although it felt great, I always enjoy the skin contact. It is more relaxing. I am glad it wasn't that way the whole time. We didn't have to wait, as they were ready for us. Linda honored the Groupon price and deal I had seen. The business is clean and welcoming. Linda is very easy to talk with, understand and kind. Definitely will return when we are vacationing in the desert. Update: because I just reviewed my emailed receipt, the business charges the customer $2.00 for the usage of any credit card. I asked but thought they absorbed the $2.00 charge not the customer. My husband and I traveled here from Pennsylvania our honeymoon -- we just left Zen Spa a few minutes ago and we can't stop talking about how great it was! We've had quite a few massages in the past but this was our first 90 minute one. It was so thorough! They did what we would've expected from a traditional massage, with an addition of hot stone, scrub/exfoliation on the legs/feet. WOW! Thank you so much to the staff. For my first massage experience ever this was weird and not professional at all. It was definitely not what I imagined it would be. No introduction, no paperwork when you come in. The room had a strange smell to it, it was not pleasant nor relaxing whatsoever. There is a sign to silence your phone and my masseuse had her phone notifications going off. I actually felt dirty. There was no communication to what was going to be happening. I couldn't understand my masseuse at all. I was under the impression that it was just a deep tissue massage and then to find out hot stone rocks were also included which I did not like. There were times that my masseuse would walk out the room leaving the door open which did not make me feel comfortable at all. I felt exposed & uncomfortable. The massage was to hard for my liking. I do not feel any different then when I first went in & to top it off as soon I was ready to pay the first thing they asked me was if I was going to leave a tip!! I definitely did not want to after that but my Masseuse was literally waiting for me in the lobby with a little cup of water. It would of been awkward if I said no to tipping . I would definitely NOT recommend. I read the reviews before I came to this place and didn't want to come but since it was a gift I thought I'd give it a try. I don't usually like massages. THIS PLACE changed all that. First of all - my friend and I didn't even have appointments. We called earlier in the day to see if they could fit us in and they found employees to accommodate us because we wanted to be seen at the same time, same room (couples massage kinda thing). They were super pleasant, super professional, and so good at their job! My friend is a bit high maintenance and kept telling her masseuse exactly what she wanted and he was totally cool with whatever, never got irritated, and simply obliged. My husband and I came here for our anniversary. We had a couples message with mini facials and body scrub. We left feeling the tensions in our bodies had been released. They were so friendly, and the massage was the best we had! The body scrub wasn't so much a body scrub as it had only been applied to our backs. We expected it would be on our legs, too. We could have done without the mini "facials." It was a 99 cent mask applied to our faces, which I could have done at home for the both of us. He also applied regular lotion to my face, which we all know is not good for the face. That's the reason this is a four star instead of five. Poor experience. I booked a 1-hour hot stone massage for my wife and mother-in-law. Instead, they gave them a painful deep tissue massage. When my wife repeatedly explained to them that they messed up the massage, the woman refused to make it right. She also asked the woman to let up on pressure during the massage, to no avail. We had serious issues communicating with the staff here, and I'm not sure they understood what we were repeatedly saying. Will not be coming back and do not recommend. read more

I just had a 90-minute hot-stone massage. The massage was incredible. The technique was something completely new for me--a thorough, healing massage that was deeply relaxing and then invigorating at the end. The walls need some soundproofing--I could occasionally hear the sounds of the tire store nearby, but I felt so good that the sounds didn't really bother me. So, so happy I found this place. I've have residual pain, on-going from a car accident two and a half years ago, and am also a former triathlete, so I needed some pretty deep and specific work. I was lucky to get Jason (the owner) and he is so incredible, I've been back twice and will come back as often as I can find time. The pricing is super affordable too, which helps so much. I brought my daughter with me for one and their room for two people at once was great. My daughter also LOVED her massage. Two days prior I made an appt at 5pm on June 30 for a couples massage for our wedding anniversary. The day of the appt I get a text and email that the appt has been changed to 2pm. I tried contacting Zen but was unable to reach. My wife and I changed plans on the fly and made it to Zen by 2pm. We were not only told our appt was still at 5pm but the front desk person told me that the two message I received from Zen didn't mean anything and I needed to come back at 5pm. He was trying to go into this debate defending his position. He looked at the text and email and said he didn't send them. So bottom line is that I don't know if this is a good place for a couple massage because we never made it that far. I would avoid this place based upon bizarre and poor biz practices. read more

I just found my happy place! After a long day of work, I decided to treat myself to a nice massage. I'm no connoisseur, so of course I resorted to Yelp reviews. After scrolling listlessly for 20 minutes, I decided to call Zen Spa based off of a review that said " Her toes dug in to the muscles of my back in the most delicious way possible." I was sold!
