Three sisters from California, ages 61-71 booked back to back facials with Sabrina. We all chose the oxygen blast Facial "Hydrating and Plumping" 60 minutes. We all had a wonderful experience and our faces looked amazing! Sabrina worked her magic on all of us and we all agreed it was one of the best facials we have ever received! We came here over the summer while on our wonderful trip to amazing Maui. We were blessed with outstanding food and unmatched hospitality. Really, Maui is an American paradise that is uncomparable to other places in the USA. Zensations spa is one of the places we happily visited. There are a number of Spas in Maui, especially at all the resorts, and the price points are incredibly high. This spa is a part of a strip mall and may deter patrons, however the quality of work is truly high and is in competition with bigger places. We obtained a couples massage. I got a deep tissue. There were a number of add-ons which were totally fun, but, unnecessary. The quality of massage was excellent. There was a good amount of pressure, thorough identification of knots with appropriate relief, and just the right balance of relaxation. Surely when we go back, Zensations will be our spa of choice. Hubby and I wanted to do a couples massage. What can I say but it was utterly amazing. We have been fortunate to have massages on a couple of the resorts, and decided to go offsite to see what the local area had to offer. We had the full 60 minute massage, they asked what areas each of us would like for them to focus on. The deep tissue work on my back "hurt" so good. He asked if the intensity of the massage was ok, and normally it's not enough. We also had our face, hands and feet massaged. Hubby was equally pleased. We were so relaxed when we left, and the prices were so affordable compared what you'll pay at the resorts. We will definitely fit this in on our next visit to the island. I just need to be more clear next time that my forearms cannot handle deep tissue, because one of them was tender for days. Top notch services, spotless and relaxing treatment rooms. I got a facial with Sabrina, husband got a massage with Holly - both of us were very pleased. Sabrina is very knowledgeable and gave excellent personal advice, my skin was glowing and clear after. Husband is very picky in general if massages don't have good pressure but he was extremely happy with Holly. Such a great find and really convenient to resorts in Kaanapali. Highly recommend. The one improvement is that they don't have small tip envelopes for cash tips that you can hand to the therapists. When I asked for a tip envelope at the desk, the receptionist opened a large envelope for each therapist where all tips get intermingled. The receptionist was not super helpful when my husband wanted to later add a short note of thanks to the tip in Holly's envelope (he finished after me, so I had taken care of it). read more

Tomoko's gifted, healing hands removed knots and tension I did not know even existed. I currently feel I am walking on a cloud. I picked this place due to my resorts insane spa service prices. Additionally I like to support local biz. The service here was just what I was hoping for. Doesn't always happen that way as a tourist. My only education is based on yelp reviews and ads in the tourist mags. So it's always an iffy situation to put your body and/or face in someone else's hands. This place is a true gem located in a small shopping center. It's unassuming but inside it's gorgeous. I wish I could just sit in the bathroom for 15 mins. The treatment room had a live waterfall device coupled with the typical spa music was really heaven. I had the dry scrub, warm wrap and massage. It might be called the Ulta service. Mya is the lady!!! She had such great awareness of my pains and aches. Her hands are gifts! Before we started she told me exactly what would be happening, asked about specific areas to avoid/concentrate on and allergies. The lotions she used during the treatment were high quality. This is the very best alternative to all of the expensive spas you see in Maui. They are right across from Aston Paki Maui in a tiny strip mall. The venue is small, but provide a lot of services that you can easily check out and reserve on their website. The boyfriend and I booked a 60 minute, side-by-side Lomi Lomi massage for a discounted price of $189. The Lomi Lomi is amazing! It is supposed to mimic the movements of ocean waves, and it did just that from head to toe. My boyfriend and I were in and out of consciousness in no time. This was truly an out-of-body experience. Our beautiful, feng shui room was softly lit, aromatic, and had a wall water fountain that filled the room with a tranquil peace. Our masseuses were really good! Based on the stellar Yelp reviews, we booked a 90 minute couples Lomi Lomi Massage for our first day in Maui. The price was $250, which is a solid deal for an expensive locale like Maui. The massage was fantastic- definitely the best I have ever had. My therapist was Kara and she did a great job. The steaming hot towel massaged all over you felt amazing. I'm not sure on the exact differences between a Swedish Massage and a Lomi Lomi, but the latter is supposed to use some rhythmic movements. Whatever it was, it was terrific. I highly recommend splurging for the 90 minute one. Keep in mind this is a small place in a small strip mall. If you're looking for the complete spa experience with sauna rooms, pools, etc, you'll need to go to one of the many hotel spas on the island. read more

I am long overdue for a review. I took my boyfriend to Maui for his birthday in September 2017. After a very thorough research, we decided to pick Zensations Spa. We've booked a couple massage , added scalp massage and facial. OH MY GOSH!! We had the best massage experience ever.It was a really relax out of the body experiences. The cost was really reasonable. I believe it was around $350-400 without tips for the both of us. Since then, we have tried probably about a great handful of places from Los Angeles, New York and all over San Francisco bay area and we both agree Zensations Spa in Maui was by far our most favorite place. Nothing was comparable to Zensation Spa. Highly recommend and definitely we will go back again if we ever make a trip back to Maui. read more

I was really disappointed with review from Yelp because it has such a good reviews. Receptionist was not friendly either. Thank you to Zensations Spa and Massage for making my vacation in Maui a relaxing one! My girlfriends and I thought that we would take a moment during our stay in Maui to get a massage. I called a few weeks before our trip to request reservations for myself and 4 of my girlfriends. They made it work and I was happy that they could accommodate a large group in such a short amount of time. Zensations is located in a shopping plaza just about 5-10 minutes away from where we were staying. Plenty of parking outside. We arrived and were greeted warmly by our staff. My massage therapist was Andrea, a very sweet person who helped me feel my very best. She made sure that she targeted the spots I wanted (in my case, lower back) and also checked in on me regularly throughout my session. They even played very calming music during the massage and the room smelled of lavender. I really like that they paid close attention to detail. I did the crazy for coconut massage which included body massage and a scalp massage as well. I had such a relaxing experience that I almost fell asleep. She made me feel so good and treated me very well. My friends also shared similar experiences and this spa definitely made our day. We had a rainy day on our honeymoon and thought we'd book a massage. All the hotel spots were ridiculously overprices, so we sought out spas in the area that had good value and reviews. Zensations was on the list, but totally booked up (with no notice, we were hardly surprised). However, we got a call back 30 minutes later saying there was a cancelation and we were able to start nearly right away! It was nice they kept our contact info just in case and they really did treat us as if we were valued repeat customers. We got the couples massage and it was very nice. There was great aromatherapy and the cadence of the appointment was well balanced. We booked a Double Bliss Maui Zen package which included a coco-mango facial massage, lavender hand reflexology and revitalizing mint foot reflexology. Zensation was so relaxing and fun. It doesn't look like much from outside, but inside it is pretty nice. They were professional and accomodating. I gave the guy a heads up about all my disgusting bites/welts so that he wouldn't think I had some skin problem. The oils actually helped soothe them out. My boyfriend and I called in and made an appointment for a couples massage in advance. I got a phone call from them less than 24hrs before our appointment saying oops we accidentally over booked. Are you kidding me? Then they tell me we have to reschedule you guys on another day and the next one wasn't available for a couple of days later. We are only here for a week and already made prior arrangements beforehand. I ended up just rescheduling for a day that we had some time.
